  1. It was a great match in itself but I was on the edge of my seat hoping Cena wouldn't tie Flairs record, technically he still hasn't but it made it more exciting for me. I wasn't completely surprised Cena went over but it could have went either way my mind.
  2. If Bryan didn't get injured, we would have gotten Brock vs Bryan instead. If I remember that was the plan for SummerSlam right? We probably wouldn't have gotten this type of match between these to if it didn't happen this night, unless Cena would have wanted to do this match at Survivor Series that year. Brock vs Bryan on a major PPV following his big Wrestlemania title win would have been a better match than the one they had years later because Bryan was the default face in the match even though he was heel at the time. Plus in 2014 if Bryan wasn't so injured by then, Brock would have been his first fresh opponent on PPV during that reign and people would have been hotter for Bryan then and it would have been surreal seeing him beat Brock clean
  3. Cody defeating Brock would be Something and would put Cody in the position to where people would be ready to see him beat Reigns
  4. Who would have thought that the LWO a parody of the NWO and group that was a bunch of heel luchadores thrown together because Bischoff had no plans for with Eddie as the lead that he got to show more of his character range just fooling around is taken more serious in WWE than their own version on the NWO when they Brought it In in 2002. If Bad Bunny continues to rock the LWO merch, those shirts will be close to the level of Austin's Shirts or NWO shirts. I also wonder if they'll continue to treat Savio like the legend he is even outside of PR. I know they've been acknowledging his friendship with Taker and being apart of BSK but it was dope seeing him being recognized on his own merits. When I first started getting into Wrestling Savio was one of the first wrestlers I gravitated to so last night was surreal
  5. Great PPV, I got to go back and watch the 6 man and Brock vs Cody. I love a Iive crowd man. It make everything so much better. People on Twitter say they need to run Wrestlemania there. That Bad Bunny match should've closed the show. I was concerned the crowd would cool off after Bad Bunny vs Priest but they were still up. Props to Bunny for pushing for this to take place in PR. I'd imagine between AEW exceeding most people's expectations with ticket sales and the Crowd being so lit tonight. PR is probably getting more Televised shows more often
  6. The Wimbley Stadium show hasn't been formally announced as a PPV yet. Right? If they stream it on Max that might get new subscribers that are hard-core wrestling fans just like WWE and Peacock. & the good thing about Collision is that is can be a good lead in show for the Saturday PPVs. I imagine the Collision show before All in will get alot of views with it being the day before.
  7. I just invision he and Punk talking about him coming back and Punk saying "Let's do a PPV at Wimbley Stadium in late August " I don't think the time frame was a coincidence. I don't think it was about selling it out. 60 plus thousand fans was probably something realistic they probably set out for but I think now they probably want to go as close to selling out as they can, anything close to modern era realistic Wrestlemania stadium numbers would be good for them. You have DoN and Forbidden Door beforehand, I want to know how much more tickets will be sold after official matches are announced. It's basically being sold based on the fact they haven't ran the UK and the assumption that Punk will be on the card. I don't think by the time Forbidden Door is over and the card takes shape that people will be more drawn in to buy a ticket if they hadn't already by then
  8. I started listening to his podcasts a few days ago. I'm not as familiar with his work but that's definitely a great move. As a black man myself it's great to see him in that role , Especially with his knowledge of pro Wrestling. WWE has so many people in creative roles without experience or the love or much knowledge of wrestling and even if they do , they can't apply it which is why I don't understand why they are finally getting law suits like that 1 former writer got on them last week.
  9. If Vince would've ran it again before September/October '97 , he probably would have not wanted Bret to leave. Especially Austin took off the following year they wouldn't have had much of an issue filling up the Stadium but Bret Hart being a proven draw over there definitely would've been a big case to keep him and probably would have been an incentive to run more often. The USA vs Canada angle would've been a good chance to run a good chance to do a Canadian Stampede type Main Event. Bulldog, Bret and Owen vs Shawn , Hunter and insert a top heel that would make sense to team with them.
  10. My Dad has that Cancer. I had him take Cannabis Oil and it got him in remission for years. It came back aggressively last year and he got his numbers down recently. That's a rough Cancer because is blood plasma cancer. It can go anywhere and it goes up to stage 3 for that cancer is what the doctor told. I found an herbalist for my Dad and she put him of herbs that cleanse The blood and cleaned up his diet in the beginning and he got off chemo in 4 months after his diagnosis and he was at the final stage when he was diagnosed and this was in 2016. Jeez can fight this.
  11. He comes across as a great representative of the company in these interviews. He comes across as very relatable too. Not every top guy has to be that Superstar type. It's nice to have a Mick Foley type too. I'll check out the Ron Funches one too. He's just great at just shooting the shit in general because his BSS with Austin was probably my favorite episode and it made me Root for him even more than I already was at the time
  12. Sami Zayn on Andrew Santino's podcast is really good. Andrew Santino wasn't familiar at all with him outside of both their fans comparing them based on them being Gingers. Sami is great at representing the business to people aren't familiar with it.
  13. It has been speculated that Naomi has signed with Impact. Stuff like this coming out ,confirms what I've thought about her pursuing a wrestling career outside of WWE even before her and Sasha walked out. I felt like WWE would never allow her to get out of the dancing Black wrestler that Vince sees in alot of his black wrestler. I think her dancing offense limits her inring work. It's even more ridiculous that they could've easily put her in the Bloodline with Jimmy. Even if the company for whatever reason did see her as a good fit for them, I'll never understand why Jimmy and the rest of the Bloodline didn't push for that to happen unless Naomi for whatever reason decided she didn't want to be aligned with them. I think it would have added so much having her as the only Woman in the group.
  14. WCW treated their tag team division alot more serious most of its time but Vince would have been frothing at the mouth over Harlem Heat. The would have been feuding with the Smoking Gunns of and on till one of the teams split up. Booker would have been what Ahmed should have been, one he went solo.
  15. I think WWE really missed the boat with giving Xavier Woods some shine as a singles while Kofi is out. I thought it would have been cool to have Lashley vs Xavier at Mania as a replacement for Bray. It's strange that he hasn't had a singles push like Big E and Kofi. It's like WWE doesn't know what to do with him if he isn't with the other New Day. I think he would have really impressed if he got some good singles matches without the other New Day around. I know he was King of the Ring but he got hurt not long after. Now I'm hearing they're keeping him cold till Big E and Kofi returns. That would be great news if Big E returns, obviously only if he is physically able to.
  16. So will her New Japan matches get posted and Vice versa on New Japan World?
  17. Are the Title matches available on New Japan World or whatever Stardoms Streaming service is on
  18. People complaining about booking Rollins vs Omos. On one hand I get it, I'd rather Rollins have a more exciting opponent but how else is Omos going to potentially get better if he doesn't get matches against guys like Rollins or Brock? I think Rollins with get atleast a decent match, plus it can't get any worse than his match against Bray at HitC '19. We are so spoiled that we freak out when a top work rate guy like Rollins is in a match against another workrate guy. Atleast let them try with him because if he has a match close as bad as the match with Bray then they probably will stop trying with Omos
  19. Like Bret lol. I've only listened to about 3 episodes. Of course It's was cool getting to hear his psychology. I really liked when his time in NXT and the developmental more than his WWE and main roster run but at the same time it's weird to hear him break down matches that's happened 5 years ago or less knowing he's still in his prime. He definitely should do the podcast thing when his career winds down or after his prime years because I expect him to have more classic or even go into the matches he hadn't got to cover
  20. Cody defeats Roman, only for it to turn out to be a Dusty finish. Sami who wins the MitB this year cashes in just as he grabs his belts to leave and Sami pins Roman Clean to end the show
  21. He trying to get him a match at Mania vs Logan Paul lol
  22. I was listening to McAdams podcast from this week today the topic is the AWA. I miss the 605 podcast. Brian Last doesn't do it to often. I guess because he has other podcasts on his Network. His main focus is Cornette. Between the Sheets is on my rotation and The Lapsed Fan. I'm still catching on old episodes. It's not alot of peoples cup of tea especially if you don't like their Schick but it's entertaining enough to me because they make me laugh often and the information is really insightful
  23. Facts, just like USA NETWORK wanted RAW to go 3 hours. Even with Vinces apparent booking flaws 3 hours is overkill for any weekly wrestling program but hey, they are making Astronomical profit off the TV at the expense of trying to keep our attention. NXT was unique to me because it was 1 hour. Even at its best I don't think going 2 hours would be a good thing for them. Bischoff is right in Blaming Time Warner, Even though he was burned out and they went through some bad booking regimes following the corporate changes, it was ultimately the network that killed WCW. One 2 hour show and one 1 hour show is all AEW needs on that channel. The only reason to add another program is if they were to put ROH on TBS or TNT. I hope they are consistent in trying to make the Saturday show seem important longer than their efforts with Rampage. It shouldn't be that difficult leading into the Wimbley Stadium show. After All Out ,it will be interesting to see how important that show is weeks after the Fall PPV
  24. Tony needs his own Bruce Prichard/Johnny Ace, someone who takes the heat for the tough decisions that need to be made. I'm kinda joking but I am actually serious
  25. It makes AEW seem Bush league in comparison to WWE with how quick talent is to post or reply to certain things. It's one think if your an independent talent where your branding is based on your accessibility to that audience. Being too transparent and accessible makes you seem like much less of a star. Roman Reigns twitter only posts in gimmick and especially 6-8 years ago he was getting a ton of hate and rejection from the audience, still he barely responded on Twitter and if he did , it was something really clever. It's cringy to me how alot people in AEW are quick to respond to criticism , Even Tony himself. Cody was the same way when he was in AEW. I understand as an EVP he wants to defend his company but as a star wrestler it made him come across like less of a star to me. In WWE I don't see him being defensive on Twitter
