    Dragon Age: Inquisition's "The Descent" is terrifying fun so far. I will probably have nightmares about the new HD Ogre face for a while yet. I'm about halfway through. The amount of flailing I have done because I'm a lore nerd is fairly epic. The cats have given up on me for now. ;-)

    As much as I hate what he did to us in that game last season, I do hope he gets to come back to a 1-day Panthers contract and retire a Panther. I'll miss that crazy asshole.

    The city elf origin really rips out your heart and has Duncan stomp on it the entire way to Ostagar. Just, yeah, did not expect it to go there. My female Tabris' tend to be really high violence types.

    Finally cracked open Shadows of Mordor. The controls are better than I had hoped, and not nearly so button-mashing as I'd feared. Within an hour or so I'd managed a couple of side missions and died twice.

    The AC died yesterday. Mom's health issues make this a huge problem, so we're calling local person and praying. Then, of course, I get to panic over wondering how the hell we're supposed to even pay for repairs.

    I saw that and realized I haven't picked up Heart of the Swarm yet. I may just wait until the Battle Chest edition comes out and pay the $39.99 for everything. ;-)

    I was not a Nintendo person (never had any of the consoles), but I cannot deny his affect on the gaming industry. Condolances to his family and friends. Is bile-duct growth a way to say mouth cancer?

    It's HIPAA. And violations are serious business. The one guy on Twitter who broke the story with info from his friend, well, that friend will be in deep doodoo. The hospital itself can be in big trouble too. I saw someone say this: If JPP never plays another game in his life he'll be OK, because he will own every cent that hospital and those guys ever made and will ever make.

    BioWare has announced that any future DLCs for Dragon Age Inquisition will not be available for PS3 and XBox360. On the one hand, I can see why, because even the main game on the lower systems are buggy pieces of shite. On the other hand, people who can't afford to upgrade will be screwed until they can.

    Path of Exile finally adds a new act in 9 days and I may just have to get back into it then.

    Started up Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, got through the introduction and the saddest line in KH history. Also, with the announcement of an expansion for Pillars of the Earth, I really should give that one more try. I can't seem to pick a class I like.

    All I want are updated graphics, a better translation of the original Japanese script (IMO it suffers from the weird word choices that make the original FF Tactics nearly incomprehensible), and making Vincent and Yuffie not be optional., That's it. I want the same story, same people, same weirdness, same crazy openword stuff, same Legendary Weapons, etc.

    I loved the concept and what they showed of No Man's Sky last year. I'm hoping it'll come out eventually. My reaction to the FF VII remake is basically this: (spoiiler: I'm each of the guys all at once, I am not the calm woman)

    It's also about 2 years too late for the MMO push. Those of us who play them are already deep into the ones we love. Those who don't wouldn't play this anyways.

    Jaws of Hakkon is better than several areas in the main game, with a good story and the trademark BioWare "Oh, is this your heart? Sorry, we just crushed it to pieces and laughed while drinking your tears" twist. But it is hard, much harder than the rest of the game, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
