So since you are as knowledgeable about business as you are wrestling, I am going to help you again. If you run a business, you do not wait until you are bleeding money to worry. You try to put fires out before they start. Losing TV viewers when you are primarily a TV company is a reason to worry. Do you understand that? I really hope WWE is not wasting money getting you to defend them.

So why is WWE worried? This makes no sense. There was a part in the novel First Blood, where Teasel panics and charges at Rambo. It made so little sense, Rambo had no idea how to defend against it. That is what this argument is. Maybe you meant that WWE owns so much old footage, that watching old material still helps WWE. But even then, I could be very content watching Memphis and Alabama. You could have pointed to the WWF squandering Kurrgan in a comedy gimmick. Something that ended up sending him out of wrestling altogether. Or using Vader poorly during most of 97 and awfully in 98. You could have pointed to Prince Albert or Big Show as a comedy act. Hell you could have used Mark Henry being beat up regularly by a woman. But instead you went for the low hanging fruit of an angle that lasted two months. That said, most of them were still used regularly on TV and getting huge PPV royalty checks. There is no shittier online argument than the "people will complain no matter what." This is actually really easy to disprove. Were people complaining during the Bludgeon Brothers push? I remember that being one of the few things to get consistent praise until Harper was injured.

People would have bought Pillman as a challenger and Muta was still around. The blood stoppage looked worse because Lex had never bladed before. He really should have won the title at Starrcade or had Flair cheat more. He bashed Lex's leg with a chair to give him an out for losing, but I don't think it was enough. So some more fantasy booking Starrcade 88. The card was not really set until fairly close to the show. Lex and Sting vs the Road Warriors was drawing well on the house shows. Eddie Gilbert vs Barry Windham had happened a week before Starrcade and the fans believed in Eddie. It was the main event program leading up to Steamboat being Eddie's mystery opponent. Flair vs Bam Bam Bigelow was a new match and they were already sorta feuding. Bam Bam could take the loss. Dusty could have replaced Nikita and teamed with Ivan Koloff vs the Russian Assassins.

You could do a strong tourney with everyone on the show. Have Sting and Nikita eliminate each other so Lex gets a bye. You can establish Barry with strong matches during the night. I think Lex was still over, but they screwed him so many times against Flair. The cage match ending in a DQ at Capital Combat was so much bullshit. If Lex could not lose and you are saving the belt for Sting, just don't book it.

I know everybody LOVES fantasy booking, so here goes. Start of the night Jim Ross says "If Ric Flair is not here by the end of the night, he will forfeit the World Championship to Lex Luger." Lex comes to the ring and sounds heelish and starts burying Flair as a coward and how he would have tore him apart. This brings out Barry Windham who defends Flair as his friend and a better man than Luger. Lex cheap shots Barry and they fight around the ring. Its announced if Flair does not appear, Luger will defend his World Title against Barry Windham. This would hopefully put the heat on Lex, who was turning heel anyway and get Barry over.

I think Jericho said it best "You don't know what he says, but you want to." Warrior had a lot of charisma and good delivery. His promos sound like the ravings of the maniac and that was the character. Him and Sting ran some parallel paths as promos. Sting had this great energy and crazy promos, then he was taught the "right" way and was never the same as a promo. The same thing happened to Warrior, but worse. The more Warrior improved, the more charisma he lost.

I would take the president's word over Russo. That Vice even talked to that shit stain is enough to make me stay away.

I unfollowed the Impact youtube channel when they had Joey Ryan do the dick spot with Tessa Blanchard. The Allie and Rosemary stuff is garbage Vince Russo would be ashamed to put his name on. They run shows in barns and give "comedy" indy wrestlers time on their shows. Their best stuff tops out at not awful.

Brutus also main evented Summerslam 89 in a tag match. I'm surprised I am the first to mention this, but you need footage of the wrestler winning a match for comparison, to see if they give a signal they are losing.

I feel weird giving Disney money for this. It feels like I am supporting the evil empire, I have been saying the government should bust them up. But now they have my beloved Simpsons hostage. I guess I will deal with that when the time comes.

Back in 2007, I noticed I started noticing whenever Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin were going to lose. They came out looking like their puppy had been hit by a truck. When Matt was released in 05, it was because he was accused of slashing Edge's tires. Which was a whole situation involving other people. Then they brought him back two months later and Matt heavily implied he was never released in the first place.

Thinking about it, Sasha and Bayley are acting exactly the way I would expect Triple H proteges to act. It seems like a problem with NXT in general. They get there and get this impression they are big stars, so when they get called up, they think they have already made it. Or not, who knows, but it does seem like its the NXT people who do this.
