We almost got a bonafide Dragon Sleeper in one of the CES matches tonight. Miletich said he wouldn't want to use that in a fight for fear of paralyzing somebody. Last three fights were all solid and the sudden finish in the third of the main was pretty out of nowhere.

TANAHASHI/OKADA: No need to review, you know what this is. The music they play for Okada after he wins (again) is corny. I'd rather it sound like something after you beat a video game than the closing round of a John Williams soundtrack. Tana cries in the back, haha. Next week we fast forward all the way through the Super Juniors to the final! This should be fun, to say the least. Update: the Miami Connection and Trailer War Blu Rays wouldn't play on my VLC player (bogus) so they're both going to my friend, whos b-day is in a week incidentally. Luckily at least Miami Connection came with a download code for Vimeo.

Not to get all this moved to the other thread, but I think there are a couple reasons. 1. People that don't suffer from depression do not understand it completely 2. He had a dream job and a gorgeous, smart, talented girlfriend so what's there to be miserable about? (Note: In their minds, not his) 3. People are dumb

The weather is kicking my ass right now or else I would have already been out to see Upgrade. I'm aiming at Tuesday or Wednesday for that. Hereditary will have to wait, because I also want to catch Blue Collar (!!!) playing at the Art this upcoming Friday.

The final (hopefully not) Parts Unknown was fittingly a desert island episode (as in not set on a desert island, but I would take it with me to a desert island). Tony was never much of a German fanboy, but this one hit all the marks -- history, politics, sociology, art, film, music, high end food, low end food. The pause he had when the guy from Brian Jonestown said he liked being anonymous then responded he'd like that as well said megatons. At least to me. Obviously you can read into these things. In any case it's a perfect episode, and I just want every last scrap of footage to air if they've got anything else. The memorial show was very well done, tastefully didn't have any commercials, and revealed his method of suicide (hanging) which I didn't know about -- yet watching the marathon on the Travel Channel today he of course in one episode made a crack about hanging himself from the nearest beam. We'll miss you, brother.

Graves should be happy considering he has the job Punk should have right now. Living well is the best revenge.

Watching WWE en Espanol is so much better; the announcers say inscrutable stuff like "ARRWOOO!" and "chompa chompa". It also helps to have a replay after you made a goal to stay awake after seeing the matches lined up yet still promptly fell asleep after seeing Carmella with her melted face walk out to start the show on Tuesday. You still have to mute Big Edge though... - Lana actually looked alright on offense - Xavier looks weird with facial hair, like he's either way older or homeless. Kofi's fakeout dive was one of the funniest things ever, and yes we need more Rusev/Joe. - Is the Asuka Lock technically a Tazmission?
