  1. So did Godfather have a more mediocre career or did Koko? What a dreadful class. The class is two names deep and one of them is Sting. The Godfather going in confirms the leaked list from a couple of pages ago. I know that it's a worked HoF but the standards should be higher than "he was a good guy and was loyal." Freebirds? Absolutely. Sting? No question. And I can wrap my head around JBL since he was a main eventer for awhile. I wish that there was a wrestling hall of fame that didn't have major flaws. The WWE one is random and loose. The WON hof is marred by the different vote totals per region and the insanely low age eligibility. The one in Texas is loose and too segmented. It's a shame.

  3. Has anyone confirmed that list? If that is this year's class then it's easily the worst one yet.
  4. To be fair, Romanowski will always be a giant ass hat. A horse on Sunday and a horse's ass every other day.
  5. It's going to be a learning curve for Cam. This is the "just because people say that you're going to do something doesn't mean that you will." stage. The Panthers will win a ring, it's not going to be as easy as he thought.
  6. Yes, this season was excruciating to watch and Peyton looked worse through most of it. Von Miller is a once in a lifetime talent. But hey almost all of you guys were wrong and those of you who were not Panthers fans... Peyton has two rings. Thanks Vincey and the Panther brigade for being classy... Don't worry... It will come. As far as the rest? Arn Anderson said it best. "You might not like us, you may hate us... But the one thing you have to call us is CHAMPS."
  7. Crying out loud... They should be lessening First Take's influence not growing it.
  8. Root for Denver. Everyone rooting for my team is bizarre and uncomfortable. This board is unique. Two years ago or so, the Broncos were the team that polled highest in fan support, yet on this board out of hundreds of members and about fifty who pay attention to the NFL there are two Broncos fans here. Two. JohnnySorrow and I are it. This year has been a struggle. No win has, with the exception of the Packers, been easy. If it's a blowout for the Panthers, I'll be pissed. If we go down swinging, then fine. But if this defense does what it can do and Peyton does just enough... I'm going to enjoy the misery here. Not necessarily from the true Panthers fans, but from the armchair QBs using the terms like "press coverage" and "noodle arm." The Broncos were supposed to lose to the Steelers and the Patriots were supposed to thrash us to the point where one Pats fan said that he knew about making Super Bowl plans after they beat the Steelers. So why should they do what you guys think now?
  9. The other thing that the WWE needs to consider is differentiating between wrestling deaths. There's such a backlog because they don't see that Pillman, Davey Boy and Rude's deaths are different from Owen dying in the accident, Brody being murdered or Thesz dying of old age.
  10. Look at the Bills' close brush with moving to Toronto. No one is going to care. It's hard to care when the dumpster fire is still burning so brightly.I mean, how many of the idiots at Bills tailgates even remember the Toronto shit? It's kind of different though. I don't think anyone thought the Bills were legitimately going to move, plus they have a near obsessive fanbase and their tickets sell. If for instance the Rams don't move, that's a tough situation because as has been noted nobody gives a flying shit about them. Otoh the Raiders would be fine because Oakland loves them, just not enough to buy a billionaire a stadium he could and should be paying for himself. I'm not sure if Mark Davis is a billionaire. He inherited the team. Not saying that the city should pay for the stadium, but he's not Blank, Kronke or Kahn.
  11. Bryan didn't do too much in developmental. I don't recall if Monty Brown or Karma spent much time down there. They started with Rock and I think that's kinda skewed their vision.
  12. How dare you sir! Barry shall end up with Catalin. Y'know the one he has the best chemistry with.
  13. Yes, because it fits the NFL narrative to have one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time to lose to an inexperienced starter when perfection is on the line. You lost. Deal.
  14. This year I think that the Pats would have rather faced Peyton.
  15. Vince has been tone deaf towards the crowd for years. How long has there been a mixed reaction to Cena? 8 years? Even longer?
  16. From what I understand he was known to be a little off, not necessarily a criminal, but if you were to ask anyone on the team "who is the crazy guy?" Greg Hardy would be everyone's answer. I'd be willing to bet there is one guy on every team, who excels at football, but couldn't function in a world where they couldn't be a professional crazy person. See Haley, Charles and Romanowski, Bill.
  17. I don't think that Elway is going to look to long at Kapernick. Accuracy has always been Colin's downfall and the Broncos have already been down that road with Tebow. This is Osweiler's moment. If he fails then the QB position will be priority number one in the off-season.
  18. Storm has already been on tv so that's not shocking... But at this point would anyone be surprised if those other guys appear on NXT? Johnny Gargano and Tiomassi Ciampa were given serious exposure. I'll be more shocked if they don't.
  19. Just look at the signings of the last 2 to three years... It's obvious that the diminishing returns of the bodybuilder and fitness model types has taken roost. Plus with their desire to start using independent talent and veterans, they could have their deepest in ring roster ever.
  20. Manning is toast. He'll be in the broadcast booth next year.
  21. I think people overestimate Coors Field and just forget that both Walker and Helton were phenomenal players. Walker was a five tool player and Helton is as good of a defensive first baseman as anyone else in his era. It's a shame that they're not getting more consideration.
  22. If you switch Felicia and Jonah Ray, then it would be so much better. She's so adorable.
  23. As the board's resident Broncos fan it's very simple. Peyton has looked like utter shit this year and he needs to be put down like Old Yeller.
  24. It also refers to the number of wins he has in the last calendar year.
  25. I don't think that matters... Just donating will give Misties a sense of ownership. And add me to those who would not like Jonah Ray as host. Mike and Joel were likeable... Jonah would be a good mad maybe.
