This PPV was so good that I had to watch it twice to truly appreciate it.
Where do FTR and The Briscoes rank in terms of all time tag teams and are either of their matches all time greats? For me the first one was a tiny bit better but I respect the hell out of both teams and everyone on this show.

What does it mean to gild a seal? Is it worth it to do?

So I haven't been playing long enough to be around for the Solstice event. What all is it about? I remember one of the YT guys, maybe Divide, say to save my bright dust so I think I have about 18k.
I also wanted to ask which of the weapons from Duality are worth getting? I would like to give the dungeon a shot.
Mini Tool is dope but Drang is slept on. Probably most weapons with incandescent will be really good though. I have a decent amount of weapons I need to level still. Takes me a minute though.

It's funny. I was just finishing up the quest to go to the pyramid and while I was loading, I came here to see what you all thought of the story. I'm looking at the posts confused and I turn to the tv and I'm like "Oh. Oh no. Helm is fucked."

Crow not too long ago killed a scion who was critical to the mission and got Iron Banner guy exiled. I'd like my leader to exercise a little bit better judgment than that. Also he still needs to work shit out with Mara. He needs therapy first.

I took a few weeks off to play a few other games and to take a break from D2. Apparently the whole world changed with the gun changes. As a hunter am I aiming for mobility/resilience now instead of recovery? Looking forward to doing the new dungeon as the weapons look dope. I haven't enjoyed solar as much as void but I will give it time and try some builds from the creators on YouTube or Twitch.
I like the story. I'm proud of Crow. Really wish he hadn't killed the psion but really good comeback. I don't know much about Calus but I am interested in his involvement with the darkness. Lastly I have to go and read your posts on how to play this IB. I've been finding that even with lower skill playing the objective is still really useful.

Xur has a DMT this week with fullbore, high caliber rounds, vorpal, and short-action stock. I remember people saying wait until vorpal but is this the one to get?

This was my first ROH show and I really enjoyed it. I was stunned Swerve took that spot and I'm glad he's okay. The Briscoes are crazy people. Amazing match. Yuta has grown on me and I hope his push continues. Main event was aces.
One reason to continue to watch is the Pure division. The separate rules they have are interesting to me and you can go in a lot of new directions in that match type. Will have to find out where to watch this weekly.

The best thing I can say about this show was that when it was over, I immediately wanted to watch it again.
AEW heels are too good at what they do. I don't want to boo The Acclaimed. I don't want to boo Powerhouse Hobbs or Ricky Starks. I mean I know I don't have to but they are the "bad guys." Speaking of which, isn't about time The Acclaimed got a big win?

TLDR: Made a lot of changes to get better at pvp and learned some interesting things about the game.
SpoilerSo I finally decided to go full tryhard on my hunter in pvp. It's more fun now that I have improved a little bit but I am still not good enough to be beneficial to the team. So I started from scratch.
First I watched a good build video. It showed me how to change my stats for pvp. The biggest change was in my recovery. I think when I started I had something like 30 recovery. Now I am at 100/20/100/70/70/50. PsiOps was really good for getting some high stat armor. I also was able to finally get powerful friends mod a couple days ago as they had not sold it since I have been playing. Finding out that PF and the Strength mod would work for each other and that helped a lot.
I had enough materials to masterwork 4 out of 5 of my armor pieces. I am using wormhusk crown and I need three golf balls for that. For weapons I am using Crimson and Quickfang. Still deciding what I want to use in my energy slot. I was using my glaive but it was only really good if you caught someone by surprise.
As I said above light.gg is something I didn't know existed until a couple weeks ago. That and DIM have been amazing. Light has helped me weed out guns that are terrible. I also didn't know there was a recoil stat. Knowing that makes a lot more sense about how to hit headshots. I also learned to shoot the wall to see the recoil pattern if I don't have time to look it up. Also have a better idea about why stability, handling, and weapon perks are so important. Now I don't have to blindly just trust what I hear is good.
I have to give a big shout out to Ascendant Nomad. His videos have given me a lot to consider when figuring where to move, why I'd go to a location, and how to make the most out of the information available.
I still won't be good for a long while but at least I have tangible ways to improve. Thank you guys for your patience with a Destiny noob.
I think it's cool that Bungie is suing the people who did the YouTube take downs. Have they always been this community friendly?

Currently you can't craft any swords but they do have a section for them so they will be adding some eventually.
Also I found that light.gg shows good rolls from vendors and they had an amazing quickfang a couple weeks ago and it's my favorite heavy weapon for pvp. It's so cool to look like a ninja on my hunter!

Depends on what you have and what you want to use it for. The new hand cannon for instance is pretty solid in PvP so if you have a roll you like I would suggest slapping on a full auto mod and masterworking it for the extra stat bump.
I got some decent guns from this past week that I can use. I was more talking about the armor. Do you get the enhancement prisms often enough to upgrade new gear?

A little irritated that the lore puzzle in preservation mission isn't working at the moment. Maybe it'll be fixed when they update on Thursday.
Is it worth the materials to upgrade the iron banner gear? I managed to get 4 pieces. Slowly getting better at it. Probably going to try a different pvp build next time to see if I can do better.
Off to go find this weeks moths and level weapons.

That said, I'm pretty sure the game I was just in someone was cheating as I noticed shots would occasionally stay on the surface and act as a mine. never seen that one before.
There is a new perk called Lasting Impression that does that. Usually it's on rocket launchers. You get a small initial hit and then a much bigger explosion afterwards. If it's not that perk then it's Timed Payload.

I got Dead Messenger a bit ago. It was fun solo once I got past the tank part. Was looking for the catalyst only to find out they haven't put it in the game yet. I am a moron.
I used my exotic cypher from the season pass to get Witherhoard and it is so good I don't know how I didn't get this earlier.
My three characters are all at 1560s and my glaive is at level 57. Wonder if it will stop at 100.
I am trying to find more lore books. This season's story is really interesting to me. Guess I have to look what gives you more of them. Don't sleep on the Psyops missions lore. Saladin, Crow, and Zavala have been very compelling so far.

Darkness where there should be light. Light where there should be darkness. Queen Mara preparing her own agamemnon contingency. The Traveler doesn't want smoke with The Witness but we're supposed to defeat it eventually. Savathun's ghost just peaced out, but she's the hive God of cunning so somehow this is all part of her plan. What will we learn from the Psion in HELM? Once the Eliksni find out why the Traveler left does that change the opinion of the rogue houses? Lots of questions for Bungee to answer this year.
Also, suppressing glaive and supressing grenade are gamechangers. Add devour to it and the enemy light bearers are in for a bad time.
Good luck trying to get deepsight weapons from Wellspring. I was not lucky at all yesterday.

I wonder if Mox drops the strap to Jericho who then drops it to Eddie at Arthur Ashe. That would be a Stone Cold/Rock level pop. It's also convenient that he just happens to have problems with both Jericho and Punk.
I feel rewared for watching Death Before Dishonor. Watching Rush vs Dragon Lee helped me understand how violent the match with Mox could be and how important the mess with the bulls you get the horns was that missed. Also Daniel Garcia is slowly taking the moves that he's learned from fighting Mox and Yuta and that helped him win against American Dragon.
