i can't believe how little talk there is of March Madness. we're only like a week away! should be a damn interesting year, with the CWC and WWEUK tournaments. plus the infamous six star match. so much exposure for these guys.

adding Trouble to the list.

how many bantamweights are there in this company and how many draw fans? or lightweights? there is infinitely more dead weight at these weight classes than in one of the two most shallow divisions. FFS, Shogun is ranked #6 (#5 after Bader stops being ranked). Lil Nog is #11 (#10 post-Bader) and lost 3 of his last 4. Outside the top three, this division sucks ass. i don't know exactly where the UFC had Krylov/Cirkunov ranked, but it's clear that they need people in that division that are better than half decent. it's not that i'm a huge fan of either guy, but they both have earned their way to their place. Unless the asking price was absurdly high or the negotiations went terribly, i don't see why you'd let them go when so much of this bloated roster still keeps their spots. Ultimately i guess it doesn't really matter. The UFC will keep making money and LHW will continue to suck, with or without them.

everybody is fine with ufc trimming its roster. we all get that. but to release three LHWs that are ranked in (or near) the top ten? thats ridiculous. especially with two of them being prospects that have shown some potential.

i just picked up Crash Bandicoot (the original, on ps1). i've never played it before. i grabbed a Crash skylander figure to display with my amiibos and it piqued my interest. pretty pumped to start playing it tomorrow. really hoping i can beat it before Zelda comes out on 3/3.

i've never heard of it. a cursory Google search didn't turn up anything, but I'm intrigued, so i will keep up a search for it later. any more details you can recall?

if it does happen, i'll be sorry to see Bader go. Was looking forward to a matchup with Gustafsson, and always hoped he would get a title shot (preferably against DC). I think there's still plenty of reason to keep him in the UFC, but i can see the other side of the coin also. i don't see Bellator offering any big matchups for him. A title shot is obviously something Bader has never gotten, so that makes sense. Phil Davis is enough of a name that it could do OK. Bader-Mo is fine too, but after that i just don't see what's ahead.

the couple house shows i've been to have been lame. it's been a few years, but the faces won every single match and it felt like everybody was mailing it in. i feel like at this point i'd only go to PPVs Network Specials.

official Tecmo Super Bowl prediction: Falcons 12, Patriots 7. this game was ALL Falcons. a number of interceptions, a couple forced fumbles, and even a safety! Their offense was all over too, with great running and pretty decent passing. Pats had some key moments to hold the score so low. New England couldn't get anything going. of course, i don't think Tecmo SB has been right in the six or so years i've been doing it this time, so who knows.

just read that fans have started a petition to get Zack Snyder to direct. LoL.

maybe the interest this special sparks will convine WWE to put all the XFL games up on the Network. I've got a set of DVDs that i purchased online that somebody burned off their TiVO. i'd REALLY like to upgrade them. That, and the potential Network copies would be every game, instead of just the ones that aired.

just saw the new logo. yeesh, that's ugly. also, someone pointed out that Anthem is "Meh TNA" spelled backwards.

damn, this is a VERY tough decision. the fact that Cowboy is probably last of the group, despite having FOUR WINS, including Matt Brown, is ridiculous. Bisping: beat an all-time great, then the current champ, then avenged his biggest loss. solid case. Conor: moved up two weight classes and lost, but immediately avenged that loss. and followed that up with winning his second championship. damn. Nunes: beat a solid contender, then a great fighter for the belt, then an all-time great. holy shit. Garbrandt: four straight wins, including against an undefeated opponent, AND one for the belt against someone who has looked basically unbeatable for years. Stipe: three straight wins against some of the best of all time, including the Heavyweight strap. ultimately, my vote goes to Bisping. he was legit KO'd against Anderson and still won the fight. Also, i think Hendo KO'd him also. how many guys get KO'd twice, but still come back and win the fight? that is just f'ing nuts. no way is there a wrong answer here.

have had a Wii-U for a couple years now. my rule of thumb is, Wii game, Wii-mote. U game, gamepad. i've never used a pro controller nor played the zelda hd remasters

Lawler/Condit. one of the best fights of all time. both men collapsing on the top of the cage, right next to each other, after the final round, puts this over the top for me. such an awesome, awesome fight. #2 is Reyes/Kim. kicked off my event of the year (ufc 199) and was totally unexpected but amazing. #3 is Swanson/Choi. holy shit, how can a fight this sensational be third?!? what a year of fights. some definite classics.

marked out the hardest for Miesha Tate stealing a victory with that choke. hard to vote against Maia, but Tate is aces.

PVZ switch kicking Bec Rawlings is my pick. absolutely picture perfect. since that's not an option, i gotta take VanNata's spin wheel kick. it is so reminiscent of Barboza/Etim (my favorite KO of all time) that i just can't vote against it.
