This was a fantastic show pretty well top to bottom. Dragunov/Hayes was the new generation epic main event style and it delivered. LOVED Dar vs Butch and Dom/Trick. Really not a miss on this show with everything pretty well making sense. LETS GOOOOOO NXT!!

Was very disappointed with Baszler/Rousey. I think Baszler could again be in that main event scene but it would take some time. Loved her Queen of Spades character.

Thought the show was fantastic. Anyone who thought Roman was losing last night was foolish. They are going to tease the crap out of him passing Hogan because I mean chasing the Immortal One is wrestling lore. Expected response from the board that can’t even give Ricochet vs Paul it’s just due. “Lesser Osperay/Ricochet” yeah not bad for a guy with less than 10 matches in his career.

Amazing to see someone else who hasn’t gone down the ironic road of “WHY DON’T YOU LIKE BRAINBUSTERS ON THE RING APRON VIKINGO STYLE BRUH” Gunther and Rhea Ripley are on another level. Fuck it give me Rhea vs Gunther.

Fantastic PLE. Minus Knight not winning this show overdelivered. Main event was pure cinema. Heyman is the best manager of the 21st century and it’s not even close. He’s tied this together so perfectly.

This show overdelivered in spades. How are some people shocked the crowd was as hot as it was seeing as though PR hasn’t had a PPV since Reagan was President? Booking Bad Bunny in Puerto Rico was genius and the pops in that match off the charts. Biance/Iyo was fantastic and Zelina getting a hometown ovation ruled.

How the hell this board doesn’t see Gunther as the next biggest star to dethrone Reigns is astounding. Reigns is gonna pass Morales for 4th all time, and then sometime around November they’ll start mentioning more about Hogan’s reign. Gunther wins the Rumble, Cody wins the chamber. Titles split. Gunther wins night 1 as the man to finally dethrone Reigns for the Universal/Working Man’s World Heavweight Title. Cody wins on Night 2 to win the big one in Philly to finish HIS story with the WWE/promotional marketing World Heavyweight title. How we get there we can write in 1000 ways.

I absolutely loved the Rumble matches. Being able to chat back and forth with friends helped that. Gunther might be my new favorite wrestler at least for modern time. Give the man his roses he looked amazing. The 1997 Video Arcade match Brought To You by Mountain Dew Pitch Black made me want to listen to Warp Brothers on repeat. Nothing offensively bad but underwhelming. The women's title had a foregone conclusion feel to it. Women's rumble delivered and I dig Rhea getting the win. Reigns as King Dickhead is fantastic and Zayn's chairshot made me pop at home. Sometimes the beauty of pro wrestling is beyond the obvious conclusion, but how they execute it. Loved everything about this. Possible Mania Card: Reigns vs Rhodes Night 1 (Cody loses) Reigns vs Zayn Night 2 (Zayn gets an all time babyface underdog win) Rollins vs Logan Paul Gunther vs Lesnar Sheamus/Mcintyre vs Usos KO vs Solo

More love for this show. Dom Guerrero as the Wild Eyed Latino Boy is license to print money. Let him clothesline everyone who doubts him forever. After All Out, Sheamus/Gunther is match of the weekend followed by Kingston/Ishii. Rollins/Riddle starting with them throwing haymakers is exactly how you start a blood feud match.

How dare you think this is stupid it’s an automatic red flag that you’re a mark that thinks it’s real ? With that being said, excellent points.

That Punk scrum was one I’M PHIL FUCKING BROOKS line away from being the carniest shit this decade. Again, if this was WWE it would have been shit on as how not to cut a promo. But since it’s AEW it’s a genius gateway to more matches and blurring the lines? Fuck outta here. “But it’s working” no it’s not it’s literally just annoying as shit and makes me hope Punk quits.

If WWE did this show there would be 562 comments that they hate their fans. How the hell Dark Order doesn’t win as tribute to Brodie Lee in the biggest upset in AEW history is beyond me. That crowd DIED when the Elite won. Acclaimed should have gotten the audible title win. Eddie Kingston is a fucking beast and we need Summer of Kingston in 2023. Punk title win and MJF return expected. Rest of the show was largely forgettable and just there. Chicago is burned out on AEW

Gunther/Sheamus was amazing. Fantastic crowd. Drew Mac could have had the British Bulldog 1992 pop….sigh.

After lurking the board for 15 years, I finally made an account and my first official post. I find it odd that people who used to slam wrestlers like RVD and others who were “masturbatory” and sold as much as Circuit City has in 2022 absolutely love Will Osperay and groups like Death Triangle. The irony is quite strong. Btw, I called this in a tweet a few days ago. Punk and MJF will end up teaming up as The Salt of Personality. Heard it here first:
