Jim Ross could retire this week and I'd still say two of the best things he gave us were "The Bitch, A bitch" and the epic "my ass" video. His NJPW run was a huge decline and once Jan passed it seemed like his heart just wasn't in it anymore.

Luke Rockhold is going to get Ko'd so likely it won't even matter with him. Hopefully we all get a fun night of fights. -

I hate to be that guy, but it's the same as last year. If I had a gun to my head I'd sadly say this year is a tad worse. I only played a few games as my boss's son had it and I helped him move into his new college dorm. We all seemingly agreed it wasn't anything great and would be better waiting for it on Game Pass than spending $60 on. I will also put my name on the Matchpoint Tennis bandwagon. Game is really fun!!

A guy I worked with's fiance is a manager at Gamestop and they have Feb 2023 as the tentative release date. At one point it was listed as Holiday 2022. So I assume there are some kinks to be worked out.

Now if Tony were super smart, or reading this. How cool would it be to have Punk booked as a heel who is everything he ended up hating while he was in WWE?! He could be the part time guy who won't put over the younger talent. Who would be the best worker to call him out on this? MJF is my pick, Darby isn't there on the mic, Kingston is exactly young, Andrade and Page aren't there on the mic either. It would have to either be MJF or Adam Cole if anyone

Ironic all of this happening ya know right before the big show at the Castle. They could have all of the fired guys/girls do an invasion angle but how many of the main roster fans would really know who they are? Plus it's already being done on Tuesdays seemingly. Just shit timing to say the least.

we have disagreed a lot in the past, but I think you are spot on with this being just Punk being Punk. If anything it will have Page come out smelling like roses, whether they do have a main event level match or not. Good call.

The whole thing sounds like shit to me. So Punk isn't happy but nobody knows why? Punk is pretty private, so did these journalists just happen to talk to someone he is close to or are they BS'ing us? I'd go with the latter here. Clickbait at it's best. If Punk were pissed at Page's comments in May he seems to be the type that we all would have known about by now, not just finding out 3 months later. Not that I want it personally, but this gives all of the ammo for Page to interfere next week and get into the title match at the PPV.

It won't happen this soon but damn would I love Danieson-Claudio at the PPV. Gentleman's match for the ROH belt. My favorite Danielson matches are when he's in there with a bigger/stronger guy. Morishima, Nigel, ETC. That is where Danielson is at his best IMHO.

Punk working heelish last night was strange especially with the match being in Chicago. There's 0 chance in hell he gets booed in Chicago. Assuming we get Garcia-Jericho at the ppv where does that leave Danielson? One of the glaring issues with AEW is they have such a stacked roster that they can't possibly get everyone on the PPV. Which in the WWE with 1 PPV a month isn't a big deal, but when you only have 4 PPV's a year it becomes a problem.

I've got front row seats to next weeks show, rarely does a main event on TV end in a screw job. Hoping to god it doesn't start next week, but I could see it happening.

Cole is still buddies with HBK, he isn't going to run to tell AEW if WWE reaches out. Could be Miro, Andrade, or Black though

Not a bad episode of Raw last night. On paper Owens-Drew, Dolph-Theory, and AJ-Lashley could all be PPV matches. Uso's causing the DQ made sense. Especially if Owens is getting a big push. Not a bad show by any means. It also seemed that the matches had more time to them. If we get longer matches and less talking/recaps I am totally for Raw being 3 hrs.

Friendly heads up for anyone interested, Highspots Wrestling Network added the 2022 BOLA this weekend/today. Watching Day 1 and some really good matches early on. Speedball Mike Bailey is having a career year. His match with Bandido is nuts.

We played through TMNT Shredders Revenge and it was a fun play through. Lots of fun gems on the Game Pass. Battletoads is a good one too
