    no, not this years Primetime, the previous 2. I should have clarified that better. Strangely this year has seen some blowouts which has not been the norm for quite some time. I bet every NFL game every week and follow the spreads close. Some are headscratchers such as Broncos being favored over the Colts this Thurs. Russ had a sore shoulder and Williams is out for the season. Broncos D vs an inconsistant Matt Ryan. Should be fun.

    I see your point but look back the last two years at the prime time games. Monday, Thurs, Sunday night. Lets throw in these AM England games for shits and giggles. How many of these games were decided by 3 pts or less? How many were won due to the very last miracle comeback play? If it's a handful of times sure I'l believe it. But when you see how often it actually happened it's mindblowing. But hell I still watch.

    I know , he is friends with Joquim Wilde. He brought Sammy to our local indy a few times and Sammy was a dick even then and this was over 10 yrs ago. I just want him as far from AEW and US TV as possible.

    I've definitely read up on it but I also don't think they check the ref's bank accounts. How easy would it be for them to even have a family member make the bet for them and they influence the game. The NFL as a whole has to think that fans want less flags more action. What do we get? More flags, and maybe 11 total minutes of actual action each game. Look deep into those stats. It amazed me that in a 60 min game we see maybe 11 total mins of action.

    I'm at crossroads (no Cody pun intended) with the NFL. I've said this before, ever since gambling became legal in the US there has been nothing but flag after flag. If you look back last year almost every single prime time game came down to the final play. You mean to tell me there wouldn't be at least one expected blowout? If you gamble you will know just how close the point spreads are and it's wild to see. Vikings and the Saints for example. Vikings -3.5 favorites and the line didn't change when it was announced no Thomas, no Kamara, no Winston. VIkings should have won big and in the end they only win by 3 pts. Vegas was the real winner. GB-NE another example. If you watched that game and don't think it was influenced by the officials you have to be blind. Sure the Packers lost many key players but a third string QB almost beating Aaron Rodgers?! Come on. Last week KC and Buffalo both losing in similar fashion? All these miraculous 4th quarter comebacks this year. Look into Live Betting. Vegas is making a killing off of this. I don't remember when there were blowouts and the ref's weren't the stars of the show

    in a sense it is prophetic but it would be so much better if they were sued and those involved did lose their jobs. How they could allow him to come back against Buffalo was highly suspect, to have him start last night was just stupid on all accounts. But NFL will NFL. There's a reason that they have to show gambling commercials during every commercial break.

    I hadn't seen this as my father in law passed away over the weekend but, AIW has taken their content off of IWTV and are moving to Fite+. They are adding their entire backlog slowly but surely. This Saturday's show will air on fite+

    I enjoy these write ups immensely. I am sort of doing a similar thing with WWF and started with 1986 PTW. I am currently at the January 87 mark. You are nearing one of my favorite time periods but sadly WWE has yet to upload all the 1990 PTW episodes ? Sure 1988/89 gave us the mega powers exploding but 1990 had a lot of good mini angles. The Warrior-Hogan, Martel blinding Jake, Dusty-Savage, Demolition-Harts with LOD debuting, Perfect's IC title reign. So much good stuff in 1990. I also am a huge fan of the 1990 rumble. Hard pressed to find a more star studdled Rumble match.

    Saw 311 last night and they played well but I left the night in awe of their opening band Tropidelic. They are a good mix of Sublime and 311/incubus. 6 guys in the band and the energy they had on stage was insane. I bought 5 of their albums at the merch stand and saw they have played with Bone Thugs, Matisyahu, Nick Hexum, and a few other big artists. Really recommend these guys. Alcoholic, Cali, Hey Now, Falling Down, and Police State are really good songs.

    Classic Content for Sept will drop Monday. It's 7 episodes of WWF Old School from 1988. Likely a mix of MSG and Philly Spectrum/Los Angeles shows.

    If you watch the press conf with Aaron Rodgers from Sunday night he actually looked like a splitting image of Phil Brooks. I for a second thought Punk's presser was being shown on ESPN but it was actually Aaron ranting about his rookie receivers making mistakes. No comparison to Target managers was made ironically even though they were in Minnesota

    My co-worker wanted to play Goldeneye. 120,000 games and he wants to play Goldeneye. So we play. It doesn't hold up at all. The other thing I never liked is that one shot with the Golden Gun and it's lights out. That whole PS1, N64 period for me was a weird time. I'm not a fan of the clunky 3D movement of characters. Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, etc. But for as much shit they got wrong they gave us WCW Vs the World, No Mercy, SuperBrawl Revenge, Mania 2000, and WCW World Tour.

    I liked Rollins work when he didn't talk. When he was Tyler Black wrestling Nigel. I believe he had a great match against Hero too that I watched more than once. Omega-Rollins are extremely similar and both have evolved on the mic by leaps and bounds. Both can also play heel or face. Really hard to say one is better than the other.

    2 ironic things about this. 1. I was at this show. Give it up 1 time for J-Rocc Daddy!! 2. I am wearing a Firestorm shirt right now!! That Damn John McChesney learned his merch selling tactics straight from Virgil I might have gotten this one from Rowe (Eric of Viking Raiders) though. Firestorm could have been great if the AIW guys didn't F with them.

    I re-listened to Punk's part in the scrum today and at one point while talking about the "million dollar house" he brought in he flat out says "I'm trying to run a company here" To my knowledge Punk isn't in charge of nor holds a backstage title with AEW. Maybe I'm reading too much into it especially since Tony wouldn't need any Phil money he has plenty of cash.

    So lets get this straight since AK is so convinced it's a work. AEW ran a tournament to crown first ever Trio's champions over multiple shows only to have the champions stripped of the belts before their first defense. He then went into Buffalo for the first time ever and had to crown new champions that night. He also has to have another tournament where the winner will be crowned champion in NYC. A lot of hassle, what's the payoff? Punk can't return for 6-8 months anyway. Omega not being in the tournament due to being suspended. No Young Bucks on TV due to being suspended. So who wins here? What's the end game? You kill momentum now praying for a big payoff down the road? By that time credibility will be lost as will fans.
