Speaking of Hoopla, I'm waiting on my audiobook of Stephen King's Holly. It activated a few weeks ago and I missed it and it expired so now I've got to re-reserve it.

Is it bad that the first thing I thought when they showed it was “Hey! I can do that with my foot too!” Sorry … bad attempt at amputee humor. Regardless that absolutely looked brutal on the angle they showed and it gave me flashbacks of the Sid injury. The fact that Dante is back wrestling after what, 8-9 months, is simply amazing. And the match was fine too! Wouldn’t mind at all if we got Top Flight & Andretti going after either the ROH or AEW six-man titles.

I’m down! Let’s do it! Side note: End of December could potentially be a bit messy with my work schedule but if anything comes up, I’ll let you know!

The Reds signed a dude today, Emilio Pagan, to a two-year $16 million deal with an opt-out after the first year. Not familiar with him at all but he's a reliever and they need pitching so seems like a good fit. Anyone know about him?

This Friday will be two weeks out from Final Battle and nothing is announced aside from the Survival of the Fittest match. I had to cancel my Honor Club subscription due to finances (but going to sign up again on the 1st) and haven't really been keeping up aside from the recaps they put on YouTube. What could the card look like, especially with Eddie in the Continental Classic as ROH Champ. Do we get an Athena and Ronda main event for the Women's Belt? Or Athena vs Billie?

I was not too terribly thrilled with Raw on Monday. To be honest, I only tuned in for the Punk stuff but decided to watch the whole show to see what I've been missing. His promo was fine, wasn't bad and wasn't good. I fast forwarded through all the Survivor Series recaps and everything. A few other thoughts ... *Really enjoyed the Creed Brothers in NXT so it's nice to see them on the big show. They feel like a 90s Steiners type team where they can just bash people and throw them around. *Hoss fight between Ivar and Bronson was fun. Would like to see them run it back with a falls count anywhere or no DQ stipulation. *I can give or take Randy Orton. If he's going to be programmed with Judgment Day while Cody moves on to Shinsuke, then I'm good with that. Priest vs Orton feels like a match they could do to bump up Priest even more and give him a win over Orton. *Cody vs. Shinsuke could be fun I probably won't tune in next week even though Seth Rollins vs Jey Uso sounds interesting. Might just catch the highlights on YouTube or something.

I still have yet to finish Collision but really want to watch Eddie vs. Brody. Tonight's Dynamite card looks fun, especially Mark Briscoe vs. Rush. Can't remember if these two ever squared off in a singles bout in ROH but I know there was that AMAZING match from ROH TV with the Briscoes against Rush & Dragon Lee.

That’s probably my favorite match the two had together. I love that tape! And yes, that Luger match is very good. Of course, everyone talks about that tag match. And I agree, it is good but as someone mentioned earlier, Diesel spends half of the match on the floor so he’s pretty much a non-factor until the finish.

I feel like this will be a really fun show. I would’ve preferred Bron vs Dragunov straight up though without JD in the mix, other than that, no major complaints about this card.

Great lucha six-man but the commentators completely ignore the action in favor of hyping up Starrcade.

I’m currently reading “Twelve Nights at Rotter House” by JW Ocker. It’s like my fifth read through and it gets better every time. Fantastic haunted house story that’s told from the first person perspective. Really makes you feel like your in the abandoned house with the dude in the book! I also recommend his book “The Smashed Man of Dread End”. Ultra creepy middle grade, teen monster book. Has a bit of a Goosebumps vibe to it.

Between San Diego and Philadelphia ... I honestly don't care who wins. It's just nice to have someone other than the Braves or Dodgers in the LCS. If I had to pick one, then San Diego just because they haven't been to the World Series in what ... over 20 years? I'm pulling for Houston in the AL, mainly because they're not the Yankees and they're managed by Dusty Baker. Ideally, Houston to win the whole thing so Dusty can finally say that he won a World Series as a manager.

Really hope that Hangman is okay. As soon as the ref called for medical and they cut away from everything, I had a feeling it was bad. Like...real bad. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed the show tonight. I hopped up and down (literally because I only have one leg) in excitement when Final Battle was announced. My roommate looked at me like I was crazy.
