  1. I was referring to Austin, Foley, etc leaving ECW for WWF.
  2. I found the level the level of hypocracy in this episode to be off the charts. Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko going to WCW = raid. Foley, Austin, Pillman, etc signing with WWF = just business.
  3. You should check out Russo's Raw fantasy booking on his website. My favorite is the "Hillbilly Hell" match between Harper/Rowan and Goldust/Stardust. And yes, name change would be a given. Just go all in on Impact Wrestling and change the name I tthe actual weekly show.
  4. At this point, no one. I certainly don't trust Gaburick to do it. Honestly, as long as Dixie is still around, nothing significant will change.
  5. Hopefully that would be a condition of the new network picking them up. Announce team change would be a good start, even if it is Josh Mathews.
  6. 52 weeks of original programming that, if they can get it to where it was a few years ago, can draw 1.5 million viewers. Not a bad play for a network looking to grow.
  7. If that means mike Tenay is out, I'm all for it. Only at TNA can someone so bad at what he does keep his job.
  8. Honestly, has there ever been anyone who was as much of a legit worker and as good of a comedy actor as Angle?
  9. . I think putting Austin in the ring with Lesnar is about as risky as everyone is saying using Angle is.
  10. Funny, that's what everyone said about Angle when he first signed with TNA. He was for sure going to kill himself working with guys like Joe and Styles. That was 8 years ago. I'd like to see Angle end up in WWE. Maybe have a few matches and end up with a HOF induction and a DVD. I could see him being a commentator too.
  11. That production people not getting paid was recycled from months ago. But who's counting.
  12. Hopefully when the new TV deal is announced, a new announce team is required.
  13. Well its no Funkasaurus, that's for sure. EC3 with a bodyguard named Tyrese will be awesome.
  14. I think you could call Nash a lot of things, but idiot isn't one of them.
  15. Another one came to mind..Doug Williams and AJ Stules had a good series if matches in mid 2010 or 2011, I wanna say.
  16. The Motor City Machine Guns/Beer Money series was pretty damn good. Angle/Abyss had a surpsingly great match at turning point 2008.
  17. I think a fair comparison would be TNA's pay and benefits to that of NXT. Don't remember where but I read recently that NXT guys make between 20-30k a year. Not sure about Benefits. That sound pretty much on par with what the lower TNA guys were making. Now that they're allowed to work indies, it should be more.
  18. And they would need to provide great pay and awesome benefits.
  19. Good thing that the wrestling biz has a history of taking care of employees. We can rest assure that whatever promotion takes TNA's place will provide full healthcare and WWE-like contracts. Sucks about Sorenson. I thought he could have been a good hand. Wonder if WWE would have picked him up for NXT.
  20. ^^ ban please? He's already stirring the pot and trying I get this thread into the same territory as the last one. Figured I'd ask before responding because its just going to snowball. That is an interesting response from Spike though. I definitely shows Russo had nothing to do with any decisions regarding the TV deal.
