  1. Nations League still sucks balls. And I say that after Germany beat Italy 5-2 in what's considered a competition...
  2. So... Devon Allen is a pretty decent hurdles runner...
  3. I actually thought it was the match plus all the other last matches (Michaels, TNA) until @Stefanie the Humanclarified.
  4. I'm European, never use that zero. Thank you for your explanation. I was honestly brutally confused by that.
  5. As I'm closing in on 40, I'd like to know how he made it from 99 to 2017 only putting 9 years on the clock... Although Dr. Manhattan did not really have a strong grasp of time iirc.
  6. I read that Tsitsipas lost points and a game because he got mad at "racist remarks". He was called a "little black sheep" and told to "shut up and play"... I have to admit I don't understand where he is coming from, maybe something got lost in translation or I lack knowledge about Greek identity.
  7. Gunn Club & Caster vs Dark Order had the best heel finish I had seen on 15 or so Dark and Elevation-Shows I had seen so far. Assboys are terrific at the essentials when I see them, time and place is always right. Skye Blue has been on a lot of the afro mentioned shows. She is probably the prettiest and nicest-seeming young woman I have seen in media in a while.(Settle down... Etc) Versus Shafir was the first time I was convinced she can be a really good Wrestler. Dropping the running knee into the ropes could be a good way to go.
  8. To be fair, if my fictional son had killed his friend in a car wreck, I'd try to keep him from blaming himself. I vaguely remember the shit Hogan supposedly said to be really horrendous, though. It has been a while, so I might be off, though.
  9. Nadal in Roland Garros is something entirely different. Not sure if Zverev could have maybe pushed him to the limit, but - as linking park once said - in the end it doesn't even matter. Those numbers are just too impressive. Congrats to Rafa. It will be interesting what happens next. Djokovic is the youngest of the big three and since Corona doesn't seem as much of an issue now, he will probably go for a few more years. Rafa seems to be picking his spots now. There have been a few occasions where I thought he would hang up the racket, but so far he came back and won tournaments. He's a year older than Djokovic and might still be going a few years. Federer is the one who is definitely winding down. Which is OK, he's in his 40ies now. I can see him going for a Wimbledon tourney once more and then calling it a day. The big question will be who will fill the void. The two active Grand Slam winners under 30 - Thiem & Medwedew (who as a Russian will now be screwed a bit I guess) maybe? A few unfulfilled promises with "maybe in another era they would have won a few" monikers? It's very likely we're still three or more years removed from this, but I'm really curious about the change that is gonna occure.
  10. It's a really cool picture, but it's also saddening because one pillar is already gone. It's been almost 13 years now...
  11. Damn, Amon Amarth really have come a long way. Not sure about the Mad Max flair in the video, but I like the song.
  12. Isn't this the second time he cheated on her? No matter who your spouse is, if you agree to keep the physical stuff between the two of you, it's shit to cheat on each other, no matter if your significant other is Shakira or Susanne Boyle.
  13. Sorry, Dad. Didn't mean to disappoint you. Must have been drunk when I said that stuff about Curry. And erased all the evidence I said that on whatever platform. Sincere apologies to Steph Curry and the hot dudes he's hanging with. Can I go with "My Twitter was hacked" or is that 2010 calling, wanting its excuses back? Does it work even though I have no Twitter? I'm gonna write a great Google review on one of the chill restaurants Steph attends. Like me and my fellow kids do. I still think GSW are going to win though, maybe even win out. So yeah... WARRIORS IN FOUR (five).
  14. Sucks to loose a match that way for Zverev, but happy for Nadal. With Federer pretty much gone from the big three, I like him to pick up the Grand Slams.
  15. Guess what turned 25 this year Incredible goal to this day, and it's probably not even the craziest one Carlos ever scored.
  16. CL final delayed because a lot of people apparently trying to get into the stadium without tickets. Some bad memories for me after the France v Germany Friendly a few years ago where there was a bomb explosion...I really hope there's nothing else to it.
  17. I think there have been two managers to win Cup of Champions, UEFA CUP and Cup Winners Cup. Lattek and Ancelotti or something like that? Edit: Lattek and Trappatoni.
  18. Terunofuji winning out put the Sumo world back into balance somewhat. Takakeisho was able to prevent kadoban, unlike his two peers. Wakatakakage handled the hatsu Yusho hangover decent enough with a 9-6 score. Daeisho will be back at Sekiwake after an 11-4 performance. Ura had a good tournament, but unfortunately it ended in injury. Hopefully nothing serious.
  19. That was way closer than I expected. Congrats to @Pete, who might have aged a decade in 90 minutes.
  20. The match with Takakeisho is a perfect example of why I love Ura. Those moves were crazy. Takanosho still holding out at the top, but Terunofuji seems to be at the level you expect him to be... It's gonna be a fun final stretch.
  21. At this point in time (10 matches in), this tournament is just weird. Terunofuji has three losses, with the supposedly tough part of his schedule yet having to kick in. Yet he still has a very strong chance at winning the whole thing. He seems very vulnerable to the pusher/thruster - style wrestlers so far and rarely shows the dominance that made him the top-ranked Rikishi. Every Ozeki is underperforming and practically out of contention. Shodai is one loss away from another kadoban gauntlet in July. Mitakeumi and Takakeisho are at .500 right now, after mostly facing the low rankers. Leaders are Takanosho (who has beaten two Ozeki and Terunofuji so far) and Ichiyamamoto, who are 8-2. Five Rikishi follow the leaders with 7-3 scores: Terunofuji, Kiribayama, Ura, Aoiyama and Sadanoumi. There is a real possibility of a multi men play off. And 11-4 might be enough to win a place in it.
  22. As always when Liverpool wins something, I'm really happy for Klopp. That being said, I'm almost 100% sure there is not much of a chance of City dropping four points over the last three matches. Salah's injury is not good...
  23. It stays weird, although with Terunofuji slowly but surely finding a groove there is a decent enough shot he will get this done. The Ozeki have been disappointing, WKTKKG (I always thought I and a friend of mine were the only people in the world to go with all caps consonants for shikonas @John E. Dynamite) looks to have a bit of a post Yusho hangover.
  24. That's one weird Basho in the first two days...
