  1. Fuck guys, I'm not going fucking hungry over here, I just live payday to payday, and I'm notoriously frugal. I just don't like to spend more than a few bucks at a time on anything. That's just life. It's a moot point anyway, since the billing became clarified.
  2. Yeah, NBA League Pass is HELLA buggy. I had it last season, with the "pick 5" gimmick. The feed would crash constantly.
  3. Like how Netflix, Hulu and Spotify haven't reduced piracy? I can't see myself ever having to illegally DL or stream any WWE content after this, and I do that for most PPVs and Raws that my DVR fucks up or doesn't catch the overrun on. Illegal streaming will soon be an exclusive feature of the NFL. And boxing. I personally feel like it will reduce piracy substantially. I know alot of piracy comes from people who feel like $50-60 is too much of a gamble for a show you may not like. Now, as has mentioned, most of us are getting this for the back catalog, and the ppv's are a nice bonus.
  4. It's my understanding that ppvs will still be available the traditional way for now. It would make sense, just because there are still alot of people who buy these things that have no idea how to work all this streaming shit, I'm sure. As for you watching the content, you will have alot of ways. Yeah, you could conceivably just run an HDMI from your computer to the tv, but if you have a Roku, or a PS3 or Xbox 360, you can go that way. I'm sure it will be available on smart TV's in due time. As others mentioned, Raw and SD won't be live on the service. Edit: Oh, and this.
  5. Did they change it ESPN has been reporting 50K Funny thing is, Marion was like "he was just playing" and didn't care. Speaking of which, we looked fucking dreadful tonight. Can't blame it on Marion being out, because Dirk looked like shit too.
  6. What was the deal with Johnny Smith there? I was very disappointed that match didn't happen.
  7. Alvarez confirmed the pricing. You are billed monthly, but it's like a cell phone plan where you'll be billed the rest if you cancel.
  8. I didn't see that anywhere, or just overlooked it. Thanks for explaining it, that's all I wanted.
  9. Because Amazon Prime talks about "x amount per month", but in reality, you have to buy the full year up front. That's the vibe I was getting.
  10. With my history of kidney stones, you may want to hold off lol
  11. After reading the FAQ, they are incredibly vague about the 6 month deal. Is it $60 up front? Is it a 6 month contract that you pay monthly? They need to clarify. I hate to be that guy, but it could be a deal breaker for me. They almost had my money.
  12. But you would be paying that anyway. I NEVER have $60 at one time, though. I can afford $10 a month, but not 60 at once. It doesn't *say* cough up $60 at once. Its possible its $10 a month, but you're contracted for 6 months. Or you can sit and wait for it to go monthly, which it will at some point. I'm fine if that's the case. I don't have a problem being in a "contract".
  13. But you would be paying that anyway. I NEVER have $60 at one time, though. I can afford $10 a month, but not 60 at once.
  14. I might be out, now. They turned me off when I saw you have to make a $60 down payment.
  15. Pretty much the dream launch scenario. And if the infrastructure holds, they could add all that territorial footage. I'm seeing cynical fans who jumped off the WWE bandwagon long ago saying they'll spend 10 bucks a month on this. Shit, I haven't watched a weekly episode of WWE in a long long time, and I'm going to do it. Same here. I haven't watched programming in ages, but $10 is worth it strictly for the back catalog.
  16. FYE did something similar recently. I actively avoid Walmart, but I would make the trip up there if not for my current employment situation.
  17. Things I learned tonight. You can get away with double teaming Pau Gasol, because the Lakers have no consistent second option. Nick Young likes to shoot. Sacre isn't terrible. Dirk is still Dirk.
  18. Goldberg is seriously the only guy to ever make the spear look lethal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2G4TUPJXUBA
  19. Oh yeah, just like people abusing the 1-3-1 zone and 3 pointer in NBA 2k, I'm sure people spam the shit out of certain things in this game too. No way in hell I'd play online. Also, kinda neat that they went with heel Snake Roberts.
  20. They had interest, but after giving him a look, never made an offer. Now if we can get him for the minimum, I say go for it, since there is a great med staff in Dallas. He's not worth much more at this point.
  21. Dude, Dallas is a disaster at center this year, and we didn't even make a play for Bynum. That is VERY telling. When you basically say "we believe in Sam Dalembert more than we believe in you", you're kinda useless.
  22. The barricades were introduced the week before Summerslam 98. I very vividly remember it, because I immediately pointed out how fucking stupid they looked. I HATE the barricade. I miss the old guardrails.
