  1. He should do one more match in Impact as Joker Sting too
  2. We’ll now I hope we don’t get Jericho/Sting then.
  3. I really like the concept for the triad match but then my mind put the idea that all of Bryan Danielson matches should be under those rules now and I want Dbry Shingo under these rules especially and am sad it will probably never happen
  4. Yeah Luchasaurus doesn’t have to be good he’s perfect as a lower card kid friendly face. Not every one has to be about great matches and main events he has worth.
  5. Help Tony and his dad crowdfund 9 billion dollars to buy WWE
  6. Is there any truth to the idea that Chono and Tiger didn’t know Muto was going to challenge Chono? I saw it talked about somewhere but didn’t see any thing to say one way or the other.
  7. I saw the question raised elsewhere on the internet that, for a kayfabe perspective, is Nagata, now that he’s added the Triple Crown, the current GOAT of this century in Japan and in rhe discussion for all time (again kayfabe)? It’s interesting to think about because Tanahashi and Okada get the majority of praise online (because they’re both all time performers) but Nagata, Kojima, Mutoh, and M. Suzuki all have solid kayfabe claims to be more dominant across more companies this century than either of them and yes that’s due to company politics and policies but I still think it’s a fun discussion. So what does the best place to discuss wrestling think? Who has been kayfabe the best in Japan this century?
  8. White/Kingston is loser leaves NJPW now. Guessing Jays heading to WWE if he loses since even if he signed with AEW or Impact he’s likely still make NJPW appearances
  9. Lego land deathmatch would be a career shortening spectacle
  10. Expensive man and Inoki-ism =maybe Okada??
  11. Colt was NWA champ so you can make it a 4 way match
  12. It’s so nice to see. Though Suzuki-Gun has kind of transcended face/heel dynamics in recent years through the undeniable talent of every one involved and with Dangerous Tekkers and Despy being real standouts of the pandemic era of NJPW. I’d say along with Shingo they really helped keep things as interesting as it could be during a strange period.
  13. I’m gonna have to renew my NJPW World subscription next month aren’t I.
  14. Tajiri to AEW to take Regals place in BCC, the student takes over for the teacher.
  15. And I’d think he would differentiate between hurting himself and his opponents. I’ve seen Lance Storm and others say that in ring is all about keeping your opponent safe even if it means hurting yourself so you can take that ideology to blading pretty easy
  16. Jericho just signed a 5 year deal with AEW so I don’t think he’s looking to bolt as soon as he can. I’m so confused as to why Regal possibly leaving is suppose to be this big doom sign for AEW. Someone who’s contract may be up is leaving to go to another company it happens all the time.
  17. If Kenny was likely or even 50/50 on leaving I doubt TK would be using him to only put over Death Triangle on his way out. He would at least be putting MJF over and maybe another one of the future pullers or would have been kept off tv after the Brawl Out. Omega is the biggest backer of the idea of making something new and lasting in wrestling of the original VPs I doubt he’ll leave AEW even after his in ring career is over. Kota I could see splitting his time between AEW and NOAH. Or he could fuck off and pop up in a random Mexico Indy for all we know the dude does his own thing no matter how strange it seems to anyone else.
  18. Since posting my fantasy tournament yesterday I’ve realized my true dream tournament would have Toru Yano go through Santino in the first round in a match that was a mix of comedy and them both tapping into their legit ability to throw people. Then in the second round William Regal gets to showcase all of his comedic timing and facials as he’s flummoxed at Yanos antics. And in the finals Yano and Eddie Guerrero (in full Lie, cheat and steal mode) trying to one up each other in stealing the win and set a record for most dusty finishes in one match regardless of who goes over we all win.
  19. 1st round: Kenta Kobashi over Eddie Kingston Okada over Terry Funk Samoa Joe over Barry Windham Eddie Guerrero over Steve Austin 2nd round: Okada over Kobashi Guerrero over Joe Finals: Eddie wins
  20. Or Claudio is a big enough name to headline a big show before Jericho drops the belt on the first episode of the tv show. I’m not super confident that a tv deal is happening but it could go either way. If a tv deal isn’t announced at this show I’d imagine it’s probably not going to ever happen and ROH will probably start to fade away. With JoE being a double champ I could easily see the TV title getting merged with TNT if a deal doesn’t materialize.
  21. It would be pretty surreal if Punk wrestled in WWE again especially with HHH in charge but at one point I never thought Vince would work with Bischoff so who knows. NJPW or maybe NOAH could be landing spots too if Punk was willing to travel that far. I don’t know where else he’d feel is at his level, maybe GCW?
  22. It should have been DEAN that became the wrestling taste maker think of how much more positive wrestling discourse online would be. God I can’t believe I use to read Scott Keith’s drivel
  23. So I guess the focus on younger wrestlers will be a long term goal based on those brackets. Maybe Narita will take the tournament. If they’re going for younger guys it’s gotta be him, Finlay or O-Khan but O-Khans booking seems to almost put him above this kind of title since he can hang with the big boys pretty well already.
