  1. TAKA is ok these days. His athleticism is pretty much gone but he can do a good match with mat work and simple straightforward wrestling. Him and Danielson could probably have a good match together. Also him and Rocky Romero could probably sleepwalk through a perfectly fine match together
  2. I’d take the trip over to Minneapolis for the right show of Mania was there especially if there was another DEAN show
  3. Would love to see Despy finally win one. Also would love to see Douki make the finals just cause he’s great and I’ll always have a soft spot for him after Taichi gave that speech about/to him after the one TakaTaichiMania
  4. Human Tornado did the dunk into a Rana spot back in the day and it still is delightful to watch.
  5. They have a bunch ready to go like news agencies with celebrity obits. They spend there week just making all possible match ups for upcoming events
  6. The only thing wrong with the KOPW stips is that the strap match is touch four corners rules. I love that they’re have an eating contest and the first round will be a lively ten minutes of Loa throwing bombs and OKhan being awesome people need to stop taking shit seriously (especially KOPW title matches they’re suppose to be fun and different for the most part)
  7. OKhan and Tonga Loa’s KOPW match will be contested in a match that is three rounds the second of which will be an eel eating contest which is simply one of the best match stipulations ever. The other rounds are an iron man and a strap match but really the eating contest is where the action is at
  8. Eddie will still have the ROH title to defend against Mark, the NJPW Strong title too. Okada is only challenging for the Continental Championship not the full “Triple Crown”
  9. The rainmaker is a great move to end a long battle of attrition it’s not great as a move to keep someone down after one hit, there’s a reason it was kicked out of so much. The landslide or tombstone would be better for angle situations
  10. If that’s a G1 block start have Bryan and Tanahashi on the first night cause I don’t know if Tana would be in shape for the match to be very great otherwise or even happen for that matter. But honestly yes I want all of these to become real. Bryan/Despy would be so amazing and I never really considered it before but now I need it to happen
  11. I wanted Christian to drop the belt so The Patriarchy could win the tag belts and Freebird rules them, give Nick experience tagging with Christian regularly and in big matches. Killswitch can fill in for Christian on Rampage matches and other low stakes affairs.
  12. Wasn’t Sammy in the match with Matt too? Maybe Sammy has a subconscious desire to kill the Hardy’s
  13. Apparently cause I’m Vince and others minds if what happened before mattered business would have never went down ever cause……. Everybody I think the whole Vince was a promotional genius was all a lie and it was just that he was a sociopathic narcissist asshole who didn’t honor or respect the unwritten code of wrestler promotion to put everyone else out of business or at least fry up their business to the point they couldn’t compete.
  14. What I caught of last night was mostly really great stuff. Stings last match was a great one to go out on. Everyone worked their asses off and it was pretty great seeing Stings sons involved at the start. Could have done without Flair showing up and taking time but I get that Sting and him have history and it’s probably something Sting wanted. Bryan and Kingston was my non-Sting draw and they delivered so well. Just a fantastic all around pro wrestling match and I loved Eddie getting to stand tall. As much as I love that AEW was able to let Sting end his career how he wanted I think my favorite thing about AEW is that Eddie Kingston finally gets to have a run as a star at the national level. He and Danielson might be IMO the two best North American wrestlers of this century and getting to see them work a masterpiece was fantastic.
  15. I’ve assumed that was going to be the outcome since Sting/Darby won the titles I never thought the Bucks would go over since the match was announced.
  16. The best thing for the match is for Sting to go over and the tag belts get vacated after. The worst case is for Sting and the Bucks to decide to make the match a Christian parable about the bucks finding salvation and then winning and being reborn as the young bucks again, there is a non-zero percent chance of this happening
  17. Tana needs to go full NJPW dad and start working tags only if he wants to keep going in the ring, maybe the occasional singles for special occasions
  18. I want to clarify that when I said there needs to be increased shorter matches I definitely was not calling for a return of crash TV style where ever match ends with some bs. More give a variety of how matches both progress and end. More clear differences in hierarchy would be very good. If Mox runs through lower guys in 5 minutes it will mean more when one of those lower guys goes 10 with him. I feel like Tony Kahn is trying to meld North America TV wrestling with old school ROH match making and Japan roster hierarchy and it’s not perfect and I’m not sure if it will ever properly integrate
  19. When everyone is special no one is special. There needs to be a return to having some matches be used solely for moving stories along without being a “good match” for 10 minutes before hand. Let a match be short and cut off because of something (runin, screwy finish, count out, anything) that will move the story for one or more of the wrestlers. I think this issue is one of the reasons I’m burned out on wrestling, Oh my god is Gedo a genius for House of Torture? They make the rest of the card more special because they’re not slogs to get through. No I think that’s a reach HOT is just bad.
  20. They need to establish Deonna as a big player now before Mercedes Monè debuts and takes screen time and Deonna ends up getting forgotten. It could still happen like when Taz got lost in the shuffle when the Radicalz debuted shortly after him.
  21. Punk is a man of conviction but he has to put that to the side right now cause Tony Kahn and the Elite hurt his feelings
  22. Cena always the company man, good thing the company will stand by him through thick and thin too right? If he’s willing to constantly carry water for WWE and he’s not complicit in any shady dealings he’s a giant fool
  23. I kinda hate myself for ever supporting anything related to the McMahon family. Like my time and money went to these fuckers?
