  1. If that FF Collection rumor is true, they have my money.
  2. On a more positive note, I thought the way that the 11/20 was structured was solid. Thea's debut in the promotion was ideal (early card shorter singles match as an introduction), a fun Twisted Sisters match, Kyona getting a chance against Bito in a singles match, then the 'rookies' having a bigger role in the main event. Even though it was a 'house show' six wrestler tag match, Momo and Kyona had a mic exchange to start a feud there and HZK looks to be an important part of things. If they could do more of that I'd be happy, I actually enjoyed this show a lot more than the 10/30 show as the matches were tighter, nothing was bad and the main event felt like they were going to do something different.
  3. I am going to put you in time out for bringing this back up, @JML, especially with not the best argument that was bound to be re-butted. Well I don't have that power. But maybe one day.
  4. I needed 32 points from Luck to win the division and get a first round bye. Luck currently has 36 points. God Bless Luck.
  5. 2 is still my favorite, 3's gameplay was fine but it just had some things that annoyed me too much. ME2 was one of the best games of the decade as far as I am concerned. I know they had to do what they had to do for storyline reasons but my favorite characters from 2 weren't playable in 3, which was the source of my game-wide annoyance.
  6. That is a little misleading though. Momo being in a six wrestler tag on a house show isn't the same as Viper being in the main in a title match (not that I have anything against Viper, just as an example). I think the main complaint is the number of title/big matches the foreigners are getting without winning matches first in Stardom. Like Taya got a shot at the biggest title in Stardom in her first ever match in Stardom, while Momo and Kyouna combined for one singles challenge all year even though they had a combined 114 matches in Stardom in 2016. Or Chelsea Green getting a title shot with no build-up. To me that is the bigger issue, I don't mind the foreigners, I just wish they did a bit more to build them up before giving them title shots and were a bit more selective in who they brought over. To go a bit further with statistics: Gaijin singles title challenges in Japan (not counting the SWA): 12 Kyona, Momo, Bito, and Kagetsu combined singles title challenges: 3 So that is probably more what sticks in people's minds, not literally how many main events but how many big matches. In that regard, it is pretty lopsided.
  7. The Bills thing to do would actually be to lose next week to kill any last glimmer of hope. Normal teams would wait until the last game, ala the Jets last year, but the Bills generally go one step further.
  8. Ha I know, that's what makes it even funnier. He is the fashion guy.
  9. I laughed for way too long at Cam being benched for a series because he wouldn't wear a tie. And his reason for not wearing a tie was "I didn't have one that matched my outfit." Its a silly rule, so only fitting to have a silly reason to not comply.
  10. The chances of me getting a tattoo are zip, but people in that line of work I generally don't. Like I don't tip the handyman that comes to my house, you charged me $60 for an hours worth of work, you're good. I don't tip mechanics. I mean it can go too far, some jobs are based off tips so those people I tip so they don't make less than minimum wage (delivery drivers, waiters, hair cut people), but if I am paying an individual $20+ or more an hour to do a service I don't tip them on top of that unless they gave me a super sweet deal.
  11. Yea on NFL Ticket I had to make it so the side scores were gone and removed alerts, since it would tell me what happened five seconds before it actually did. How they don't notice this themselves I have no idea.
  12. Plus indie fans are totally different than the casual WWE fans. Lots of acts that work on the indies wouldn't work in front of 15K people on RAW. Hell some acts that work in NXT don't work in WWE, its just different crowds. There will always be some novelty when someone leaves WWE and he isn't a bad wrestler. Add in the "son of Dusty" factor and him leaving by choice, and its logical that he'd be cheered.
  13. That is one area I've unintentionally dropped the ball. One of the times I moved I forgot to have cash on me, and when I had my stove delivered I also had no cash. I never have cash so I have to pre-plan it if its a situation where I am not paying by credit card when the delivery is made. I felt bad both times, for the movers I had a couple 12 packs of beer and they happily took those as a tip. Hopefully they waited til they got home to start drinking.
  14. This is one of those years a tournament isn't necessary. I mean of course they can't just cancel it one year and I like the tournament, but Alabama is just going to crush everyone anyway.
  15. That's a bit suspicious considering it was just a house show card, so either Kyushu Pro really really helped push tickets or something else was going on (festival, ticket giveaway, etc.). I mean I am happy for any promotion that gets a big attendance regardless of its method, always an encouraging sign when a Joshi promotion gets 1.5K+ in today's climate.
  16. If anyone is into indie sleaze (FU*CK, Dove, SGP, etc.) some dude in Japan appears to be unloading his entire collection: http://buyee.jp/item/search?seller=tubasashiratori Sadly, no Diana. A few random shows with Fujiwara, though.
  17. Ha oh I didn't mean that literally, I just ordered a copy too. I more meant usually wrestlers do big dives at Korakuen for title matches or they are named Jun Kasai, just surprised she went all out for a midcard tag match on a show that was only on DVD.
  18. That's pretty crazy though, for a small show that no one will ever see.
  19. I started playing Skyrim again. RIP Backlog. I was up til 6 AM playing it. If I ever have to give an example to someone as to what my type of game is, Skyrim is the perfect example. There are other game types I enjoy of course, but open world action RPGs are my shit. I also started Grim Dawn, but I am just doing co-op with my brother so its as time permits. Very good game so far, could be Path of Exile's lost brother but I enjoyed POE so that's fine with me.
  20. But we both know its not that simple. Famous people find docs to write them prescriptions for whatever reason, there are people with medical marijuana that don't have crippling pain. The real solution would be to make a list of diseases/ailments that its acceptable for, but it would take awhile to come up with a list. Lots of jobs don't allow it, its not an NFL-only issue. People just care more because they want to see their million dollar crash dummies cripple themselves for their amusement. Its an issue across the board in states with legal medical marijuana and its not something that can be easily and simply changed.
  21. I'm still trying to figure out where she jumped from, the picture was taken at a fantastic angle since it makes it look like she is flying.
  22. Only uh the last one of those three sounds possible. But its good to have goals.
  23. Some people's idea of retirement isn't sitting around the house doing nothing, but just being selective. There are lots and lots of famous people that don't have to work but still do, since that is what they enjoy doing. Being financially set just means he doesn't have to take any jobs he doesn't want and can go at his own pace. Now if he ever did an indy booking and actually wrestled, that would be a bad sign for his financials as I think everyone agrees he shouldn't be wrestling anymore.
  24. On my never-ending quest to track down weird random Joshi events from ten years ago (so when the current stars were babies and the current old timers were in their prime), I saw this picture online and hunted down the match: Looks like Yuu Yamagata vs. Amazing Kong from T-1 GP. No idea where she jumped from, show was at Korakuen. I also tracked down an event that Rossy Ogawa has a "match" of sorts, no idea if its his only unofficially official match or not. We'll find out in a few days hopefully. I also have Wild Hero on the way. I have no idea why I can't be satisfied with the dozen 2016 events I haven't watched yet, I think because I got into Joshi so late I feel there is older stuff I need to catch up on, and I like going after smaller shows as I generally find them more fun.
  25. I feel two ways about that, nothing to do with the fact its a Bills player. On one hand, he knew what he was doing was against policy and he would be suspended again, so I don't know why he bothered train/come back while being fully aware of the consequences. On the other hand, if someone has a legitimate disease/ailment and was prescribed medical marijuana in a state it is legal, it seems harsh to suspend him. I do understand the NFL's stance, where if they allowed medical marijuana that football players would find a hack doctor to give them a prescription. And its unfair to allow some players to smoke but not others depending on the state they live in, so they just have a blanket policy that while strict is straightforward and clear (in reference to drug use, not other random policies). I don't think there is an easy solution, or if it will have to wait until the next CBA. I will say that I don't think he has a lawsuit, which some online have claimed. Employers aren't required to allow someone to work who has a medical marijuana prescription as they can still claim even though it is legal that it impacts the person's ability to do their job functions. I think the cases that have gone to court over this that the employers have won.
