  1. Yup. The Rumble match is barely over 10 min and Shawn is "sick", Survivor Series is way better. Might be Sid's best singles match ever.
  2. Says he would only fight him at a 155 pound catchweight. It won't matter. GGG is the WBC mandatory, catch-weight is not something that is negotiated for a mandatory defense. Canelo (if he beats Cotto) will have to face GGG at the full middleweight limit or vacate the belt.
  3. Russell Wilson won a Super Bowl...
  4. I didn't make it through 30 seconds of that. WHAT THE FUCK??? SCISSORS THROUGH A DUDE'S TONGUE???? That isn't wresting, that's straight up barbaric moronic shit. Seriously. Who watches that crap? Jesus Murphy. WHAT. THE. FUCK?????? I couldn't make it through more than 30 seconds either... it's like something out of Saw or Hostel. Is this what IWA-MS and CZW have turned into?
  5. Yeah, he hurt his neck there. I twas also his last WWE match I think. Holly said the one thing they did go over was the finish. DDP didn't want to take the Alabama Slam due to his neck so he got beat with a dropkick. I haven't seen the match so can't confirm if that's actually how it ended. Yup, it ends with Holly's (awesome) dropkick:
  6. I recall a really good battle royal for the World Heavyweight title on Smackdown in early 2006. Kurt Angle and Mark Henry were the last two in if I recall and Angle wins the title. EDIT: Here's the end: http://www.wwe.com/videos/kurt-angle-wins-20-man-battle-royal-smackdown-january-13-2006-26006229
  7. Which considering Austin's history of beating his wife makes the situation even more sad. I feel like if Austin was forgiven for that, eventually when enough time passes Hogan will be back. People have very short memories.
  8. I went to the infamous Tacoma, WA Raw with Buff Bagwell vs. Booker T as the main event... so, so, so, so bad... WWE's RAW July 2, 2001 at Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA The Undertaker (w/ Sara) defeated Albert © by DQ in a WWF Intercontinental Championship Match (2:46) Molly Holly (w/ Spike Dudley) defeated Crash (w/ Jacqueline) (2:04) Tajiri (w/ William Regal) defeated Scotty 2 Hotty (2:50) The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley) defeated Chris Jericho in a Two On One Handicap Match (4:55) X-Pac (w/ Justin Credible) © defeated Christian (w/ Edge) to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship (3:34) Rhyno defeated Test (2:15) Lita & Matt Hardy (w/ Jeff Hardy) defeated The Big Show & Trish Stratus (3:20) Booker T © defeated Buff Bagwell by DQ to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship (4:55)
  9. Or Robocop and an ED209 guarding the front door.
  10. While the arm is still there, it is really just crushed steel (or whatever material a terminator is made out of), some hydraulics, and wires. The chip that Dyson based Skynet on was the terminator's CPU that was in it's head, so at least in that sense, the CPU was destroyed when Arnold was lowered into the molten metal. This is assuming that their is no advanced chip in the terminator's arm for some reason...
  11. Interesting article on the real life city that Vinci is based on, pretty much sounds just as shady and corrupt as it's fictional counterpart: http://www.bustle.com/articles/92780-is-vinci-california-a-real-place-the-true-detective-season-2-setting-is-inspired-by-a
  12. We are all so old.... where does the time go? Match is still a hell of a spectacle.
  13. Vince didn't know he left? I picture this as the opposite of the infamous "who the fuck hired Raven?" line from Vince. "Who the fuck fired Khali?" Followed by several execs scrambling to rehire him and trying to find someone who speaks Punjabi.
  14. Cotto will drop the WBC belt so he doesn't have to face GGG. There's no way he takes that fight. At this point Cotto is just cashing out, he doesn't want to get KO'd. We'll see Cotto/Canelo before we ever see GGG/Cotto.
  15. FYI - this site: http://ebook.online-convert.com/convert-to-mobi is great for converting PDFs (or almost anything) into .mobi (Kindle) or .epub (most other e-readers).
  16. Can someone please share? Thank you! Kindle version would be great as well...
  17. I believe the reason he doesn't own an NFL franchise is that he'd have to give up the NBA team. One of the leagues doesn't allow you to own any other franchises in any sport. I think it's the NFL. Doesn't Paul Allen own the Trail Blazers and the Seahawks? Must be the NHL or MLB that doesn't allow crossover ownership.
  18. Okay now I really want to see Flair vs the Sandman. Another dream match we didn't know we missed out on.
  19. Are they going to fight at the end of the series?
  20. Vince has always hated blood in matches. I was amazed he let it happen for so long during the Attitude era and beyond. Which is funny because didn't he end up blading like, 2-3 times in matches? Although that Gowen chairshot seemed to be legit. Everything else though. Vince bladed vs. Austin in the cage match, vs Taker, vs Flair, vs Hogan, vs Triple H when he won the title. I'm sure there are others. So he couldn't have hated it that much cause I'm sure nobody was forcing him to blade.
  21. That match was a bloodbath though. Even Heyman was bleeding. Without Taker hitting a crazy gushing blade job I don't think the match has the intensity/drama. I mean at one point Taker's blood was dripping into Brock's mouth. We'll never see things like that in WWE again. Which begs the question, why can't they come up with a viable non-blade job way to get some blood in cage matches/street fights? There has to be something that could look decent and add some drama/intensity without the health risks.
  22. What is this? 2006? How about watching the actual fights? You don't think this man dusts off Ricardo Lamas (#4)? Anyways, he is fighting the Aldo/Mendes winner either way it goes. Most likely in Dublin. He probably beats Lamas sure. But I have seen nothing to indicate that Edgar and Mendes wouldn't take him down at will. I'm not even saying McGregor won't be great one day, the hype is just crazy for this point in his career. If he beats the Aldo/Mendes winner the hype will be far more justified but for the level of hype he's got right now you'd think he just KO'd Aldo in 30 seconds and then did it again in a rematch.
