Yeah. I love Shin Godzilla but it is a dig at the Japanese government's handling of Fukushima Daishi. It's not a true-to-form Godzilla movie per se. Everyone ran in different directions as far as their analysis of the ending goes, when the real message was blatantly obvious. When it came to dealing with the aftermath of the tsunami and the subsequent nuclear accident, humans were part of the problem, not the solution.

Checked out Takashi Shimizu's latest J-Horror joint, SANA, while working night duty. The trailer may look creepy, but I was thoroughly disappointed with the feature length movie. It's a tired rehash of nearly every J-Horror trope you can imagine. Shimizu's other project, Immersion, came out this past summer and snuck past me. I've heard that Immersion is more laurel resting on past success, but I'd rather watch it and judge for myself.

I think the game wants you to invest points in Outpost Management so that you can construct furniture from Resources and then use the various junk items like impact drivers and shot glasses as decoration.

Been there and done that in Mafia 3. I am looking forward to the obligatory Scarface chainsaw dismemberment reference.

At least Adric wasn't the one usually screaming DOCTOR, NO~! SAVE ME~!! at the end of classic cliffhangers. That was usually Tegan or Peri or Jo. Peri was fanservice so everyone was supposed to be a fan. They even did the Yvonne Craig Batgirl fetish thing to her when she was bound and gagged in that fucked up episode, Mindwarp. As much as I really hated Peri, I was not cool with her death by mind rape but it did give her character the gravitas it had been lacking. The retcon that tried undo her demise only made shit worse. Mindwarp did have the good taste to feature a scene chewing battle between Colin Baker and Brian Blessed, though.

I will probably quit for a while pretty soon. I am already invested, but I don't want to get too invested before Shattered Stars comes out.

I will tolerate no disrespect for Adric. He went out like an OG and he was a fucking genius. Once you figured out what was really going on in that episode, you knew that Adric was doomed and that was pretty tragic. Tegan is easily the most annoying companion not named Peri. Both were glorified damsels in distress and sooo fucking whiny.. Donna had depth. IMO one of the few companions who felt like a real person. We got to see her character evolve from the asshole runaway bride to a fully realized human being. It always annoyed me that there weren't too many companions who matured or transformed during their adventures with the Doctor as you'd think that such a journey would be the most life altering thing ever.

It is playing like ten minutes from me, but I've got night duty until the 11th and I know I will be a zombie for the next week and a half. I'll probably wait until it is on digital.

I guess they listened to the fans of the game that hate the "War never changes" tagline and left it out of the trailer.

The 2.1 (final) patch should drop sometime in the next few days. The biggest additions to the game world will be a working NCART mass transit system and a new piece of cyberware that will allow you to listen to the in-game radio stations even when you are on foot.
