  1. I dunno, Steph's giant-shaming of Big Show was pretty offensive to the seven foot-and-taller demographic, imo.
  2. So Umaga is the early favorite then yeah? How good was his missile dropkick?
  3. If everyone's answer isn't Barood, I'm gonna toss someone into a Punjabi prison.
  4. That's too specific. Might as well just use "bury". Things like like "Boreton", "slow burn" and "booking" probably need one too.
  5. Cody should be gone at least until after NOC since he'll be on his honeymoon presumably. Going by the sudden push they're getting, The PTP seem to be the best bet, although I'm kind of bummed they dropped the Usos/Shield feud so quickly.
  6. Yeah, Gargano was a surprise. I was never all that impressed by him, but he did some great stuff on night two. Same with O'Reilly. Some of his armbar and triangle choke counters were slick as hell. I went in being meh on them both and now wondering if they don't have more impressive stuff that I just haven't seen. A lot of people said their favorite BOLA match was Steen/Gargano, but ACH v KO was my match of the weekend.
  7. Man, BOLA was great. The team of Joey Ryan, Chuck Taylor and Trent? as best friends should be a permanent thing.
  8. ...and job it out 6 days later. So let me get this straight: You whiny folk want Bryan to win the title on Monday, job it back to Orton at Night Of Champions, and never win it again? That's better booking than the last few weeks of WWE?GIVE THIS MAN THE BOOK I said nothing like that. All I did was refer to the moment where Lex finally got a total victory over the nWo and had the locker room celebrate with him without having it ripped away from him through the usual nWo bullshit. But nice to jump to wild and stupid conclusions. And please get new material...you've used GIVE THIS MAN THE BOOK on me already.
  9. The difference is that Lex Luger actually got to walk out of the building with the title instead of being knocked out by Randy Anderson.
  10. Oh Bryan, you'll get a moment like this...probably not anytime soon.
  11. I'm gonna go with Yoko, 'cause he was so good at his job, he had an entire generation of kids thinking he was Japanese.
  12. I remember that feud. One of my favorite Saturday Night feuds in the late 90s era. I even found the rematch, although it's pretty bad quality.
  13. Brad Armstrong was such a fearsome JTTS. He had a crap win loss record, but he was able to do stuff like go 60 minutes with Flair. Like a proto-Ziggler in a way. Only I could believe it if Brad held the world title.
  14. Whoever brings back the torture rack also needs to bring back the chicken dance signalling the torture rack. Once Luger started flapping his arms like a drunk uncle at a wedding reception, the crowd would get hyped up beyond belief.
  15. I can't recall anyone who ever broke out of the Rack. That move was insta-death. Once Luger locked you in, you were submitting within seconds. But I guess receiving kayfabe infinite backbreakers must hurt like hell.
  16. Luger got his ass kicked by the nWo every week, begging the company's real "hero" to help him, then won the title for 5 days and eventually turned heel and joined the nWo. I have a little higher expectations for Daniel Bryan than that. Bryan will never be as big as 97 Luger. Who was pretty much the top active face in wrestling during a huge year. You can say Austin, but WWF was still second place. If the Yes-Lock ever got the kind of pop the Torture Rack got, Vince would cream his pants and Bryan would be a made man for life.
  17. Goldberg would have squashed Booker and no-one would have cared. Most likely, HHH would have regained the belt at Backlash or Judgment Day. Booker is the only guy who has a win over Goldberg, that Goldberg never got back. Useless trivia Totally Buff would like to have a word with you. Didn't they pin Buddy Lee Parker? Nope. They pinned Goldberg after he got blinded by a plant in the crowd with mace.

  19. Ok...even if AJ manipulated them...it's still hilarious that Aksana and Alicia Fox consider themselves serious wrestlers.
  20. If it sticks...is AJ/Aksana/Alicia Fox possibly the worst stable ever?
  21. How these guys didn't end up ending the nWo, I'll never know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npjm_uDw0yk&feature=share&list=PLKq2N3ZY5-GEoSfxSKApe4qxmAjLY_Ky-

Alberto Del Rio is out for commentary. Another good, lengthy match. Orton dodged a Five Star frogsplash. Orton got the win with a RKO. During the match, Del Rio interfered and it was said he appeared to have injured his arm. After the match, Del Rio beat RVD down and left him laying. * Backstage segment with Daniel Bryan and Renee Young. Bryan says WWE officials told him not to attend the town hall meeting earlier. He leaves it up to The Shield to name which member he will face tonight. * A new vignette for Los Matadores airs. * Segment with the Divas. AJ Lee talks with Alicia Fox and Aksana about Total Divas. Slater was helped to the back by referees. * The Shield come out to a big pop and surround the ring. They have chosen Seth Rollins to face Daniel Bryan in tonight's main event. Good match. Bryan got the win after fighting off The Shield and hitting Rollins with the knee to the face. After the match, Randy Orton interrupts the celebration and attacks Bryan. SmackDown ends with Orton standing over Bryan with the WWE Title. Oh AJ, wtf are you thinking? lol
  23. Repo Man breaking into HHH's home and repossessing his sledgehammer would be a face move, for instance. It's like how police brutality was much more tolerated when Big Boss Man beatdown heels with his nightstick.
  24. I saw like 1 or 2 B+ signs last night, but I'm not sure if you want to get over something considered a negative as associated with Bryan especially when he hasn't embraced it in any meaningful way.
