I really enjoyed every match this week, the tag was fun, I don't think I'll ever grow tired of Gallagher wasting fools and the Main was top notch. But a hearty fuck you to the neckbeard wearing the Confederate flag hat during the main event. I feel like next week Ali beats Gulak. With Ali's promo time and wanting to beat Gulak to right a wrong I feel like that will be his moral victory and then he ends up losing at Wrestlemania.

Poor, poor AJ McCarron, all that effort to become a free agent and it seems like he'll just end up a Bengal again if he's lucky. I thought for sure one of the New York teams would grab him.

Hogan has to be Neutral Evil right? Even during the Red and Yellow years it was all about the personal glory and most of the people who turned on him were tired of his "me-first" attitude. NWO era Hogan was just more transparent about it. Is Cena lawful Neutral? He certainly has his central tenants that he devoutly follows and willingly goes to fight for. And I feel like neutral works because Cena's willing to face both Good guys like Rey and Sami, people the fans cheered for, and straight up bad guys.

I have such a love/hate relationship with those types of platformers. I've played Super Meatboy, I Wanna Be The Guy and some of its fangames (Boshy, Kill the Camilla, Run the Marathon); but I haven't beaten a single one of them. I get my enjoyment out of them, but at some point it always enters controller thrower territory. But when you see videos of people speedrunning those games it just blows my mind.

Does anyone here have any experience with the Switch version of FIFA 18? It seems like it's got some stripped down features, but all I'm really looking for is to play Fanchise Mode (to borrow the Madden term) on something portable while my ankle heals.

That was a fun episode an Roddy vs. Cedrick should be hard hitting fun in two weeks. I'm kind of hoping Mustafa wins his block so we get him versus Roddy at Wrestlemania. Also I think a Lucha House Party vs Roddy/Tozawa/Murphy match could be all sorts of awesome.

I watched it as well and enjoyed it as well. I loved that one brief scene where the two alien races admit to each other that, in true Godzilla fashion, they were planning on conquering Earth; but Godzilla screwed that up so now everyone's working together. I kind of feel like part 1 was the Godzilla equivalent of Moby Dick, but now the Humans have a much bigger problem to deal with. I'm really looking forward to part 2.

The Women's Elimination chamber was fun, though it seemed odd to me that you'd bring up this whole storyline of "Absolution is the only duo on the same page" and then have the be the first duo out. It seems like a final four of Alexa/(Don't Trust) Sasha/ Absolution would have been more interesting. They really want a Sting/Luger thing with Bayley and Sasha don't they? The Tag Title match was okay but if Titus Worldwide was going to field a team, I think Tozawa and Apollo would have been much better. I mean it's not like Tozawa's doing much of anything at the moment. Asuka vs Nia was probably my favorite match, those two just love to beat on each other. The postmatch beatdown was great and I might actually watch Raw to see where it goes from there. I fell asleep during the Men's EC match, so I re-watched it again this morning. It had some fun bits in it, but was just kind of there. The thing I can't shake is the feeling that they are intentionally trying to burn everyone out on Braun. Braun taking out everyone felt to me more like the Rumble where Big Show went around KO punching all the internet darlings out then some huge "Wow!" moment. And this is coming from someone who wants Braun to be The Guy; but I can't help but feel like their idea of getting Roman over is to now just de-push everone else.

Maybe I missed it but man it was kind of sad to see the lack of reaction after Ali won. That man gave everything he had and outside of the bumps he got nothing from the fans. As other have noted that bump into the guard rail was gnarly, as was landing neck first on Jack's hamerlock throw into the turnbuckle. Given how they're pushing the Lucha House Party as a unit, it'd be nice to see some other units get formed after the tournament. It would make for some easy feuds and make random multi-man matches have a little more meaning. But we shall see what Uncle H has in store for the show.

So yesterday I finished the first chapter of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. It's kind of amusing to me that with the re-master of Secret of Mana out and Tokyo RPG Factory desperately trying to catch that retro-rpg magic in a bottle that Falcom can consistently crank out such well executed games that evoke those exact feeling that others so desperately try to emulate. The mission system could get tiresome in other games, but the characters and their interactions compel you to beat them just to explore the world Estelle and Josh live in. Now I haven't delved into Falcom's other franchises yet (Xanadu, Ys, Zwei), but I think it's safe to say they're one of the better RPG studios out there currently.

I enjoyed The Ritual, but for 2/3rds of the film I couldn't shake the fact that it was basically The Descent but in the woods; but when they hit the reveal they stuck the landing big time.

I think its going to be one of those slow-burn things for Rippa. This year will be fine, but next year if the Giants keep under-performing the whispers will begin that Shula might take over as the interim head coach. Then we'll see small cracks appear in Rippa, he'll start live tweeting the TNA re-stream on Twitch with nothing but positives and start posting about all his Little Miss Bliss merch in the Wrestling Merchandise Thread. Then it'll be comments about how he misses Rovert's insight and that maybe he should re-open the Politics folder. Finally after three bad seasons Shula will be made head coach and given a 5 year contract extension and Rippa's poor family will have to break down the door to find their loved one dressed up as Dolph Ziggler kissing a mirror and saying "I'm still over, they think I'm funny". Truly the birth of Broken Rippa and the ushering in of the bleakest timeline.
