- Comedy tag was great. Emma and Santino were lovable goofs. I know the whole feuding tag partners thing is pretty played out, but Santino/Fandango could be some amazing comedy. - Connor O'Brien still has a good evil laugh. - Ohno/Harper was good stuff. Just two dudes beating the snot out of each other. Glad to see Ohno back. - Enzo and Big Cass' promo was just awesome. - I'm intrigued by Mojo Rawley and would like to know more. - It'll be interesting to see what happens with Neville and Graves now. - The Bo Invitational was perfect. The crowd going nuts for "This Guy", Kruger, Antonio and the ending being perfect. Another great show. I wonder if we're going to get a Kruger/Real Americans feud; that could be fun.

That seems like a surprise, Campbell's been a starter before and I seem to recall he wasn't too bad when he was in Oakland. I wonder why they went with Hoyer? Because they REALLY want Teddy Bridgewater? I'm probably a bad sports fan, because even though I understand the logic behind tanking (especially in a sport where on position has become so key) it still kind of pisses me off. I feel like the ownership is saying "Hey guys, we can't really build a competitive team; so we're just going to suck out in the hopes that we don't get Ryan Leaf-ed. This thread got me to revisit the WWE circa 2000, since this was when I got back into wrestling. Back then I was much more of the stereotypical internet wrestling fan, so watching it again has been interesting; almost like watching it for the first time again. I was so on the 'Triple H sucks' bandwagon, but watching those matches now it's pretty obvious that he was way better then I ever gave him credit for. The New Years Resolution match vs Show, the Rikishi match, vs Jack at the Rumble; at the very least these were all really good matches and I'm only in January. And even his mic and acting is pretty good. I'm shocked how much fun the HHH/Steph "Power couple messes with each other by moving their pawns about" skits are and how much they contribute to the undercard guys having stuff to do. That's the thing that strikes me the most as missing from modern WWE programming. in 2000 if you were on TV you had some sort of plot thread, even if it was as simple as "Torrie thought you were perving on her, so she sics Kane on you". Now you can be a title holder and still not have a plot.

It's nice to see that someone else is actually enjoying Wizard as well. It seems like anyone I talk to (and this was especially the case at Otakon) about Wizard thinks it's pretty bad. Hopefully this weekend I'll get caught up on the last three episodes.

Ugh I had pretty much ignored the media this week as it pertains to football; but the second I do look it turns out the Bucs are already hitting their usual late season meltdown. Missed team photos, bitching about news bits that don't exist and allegedly rigged captains elections just to name a few things. I hate to put a tombstone on the season already, but all this crap has proven two things: One is Josh Freeman is not the answer and the other is Schiano most likely isn't either. But hey, I can always look to the bright side of life and say at least we're not the Jags.

I am so not looking forward to the Bucs/Saints game. That Jets game was bowling shoe ugly, hopefully they were just getting all their boneheaded mistakes out of their system. Otherwise it's going to be a long game.

I definitely agree that Graves/Neville feels forced, hopefully when Neville's partner gets back from injury we'll get an angle about that. The thing with Dawson and LeFort is that up until now they've really never gotten to do much shtick together; usually it's just LeFort on the mic before Dawson's intro. But that skit with the two of them and Enzo/Big Cass was awesome and actually gave some insight into their business partnership. Hopefully LeFort's Legionnaires get some more backstage skits.

- If all Connor O'Brian did was crush dudes and use his supervillain laugh, he'd be the best. - I thought Parker/Breeze was a decent opener. Shame on the announcer for not mentioning that Tyler Breeze had entered the building though - Emma's pretty decent at being able to cut a serious promo and then slide back into being a goof. - Tyler Breeze left the building, - If Emma's fans are Emmacrats does that make Summer's fans Raepublicans? Really fun match, I think Summer should use that grounded full nelson as a finish, it looks pretty cool. - Enzo's hair is something else. Lefort and Dawson's exchange about getting paid was the best. Does this make Enzo and Big Cass good guys now? - Summer Rae was pretty good at trying to lure Sasha to the darkside. - The whole Enzo/Dawson match/angle was perfect. The crowd loves Enzo, which got them to hate Dawson more. Enzo got to show off a bit and we get more Rusev so it's all good. - Sami hitting on Renee was cute. Bo being delusional is great. Zeb was Zeb and Swagger killed Sami with that powerbomb. What more could I ask for? - The Neville/O'Brian match was better than I expected. Neville hit a really nice 450.

I think another thing Swagger lacks is (for lack of a better term) presence. The guy is 6'7 (2 inches shorter then Sid) and yet I don't feel like he's a big guy when he's on the screen. Heck, he can't even let out a roar/warcry that sounds convincing. Say what you will about Sid, but when he hit the ring he was larger then life; I can't say the same about Swagger,

Kyoryuger is a fun show. The dinosaur theme, the transformation device, the Deboss leaders and most of the cast are pretty fun. I'm curious about the upcoming movie since it's supposedly a musical. The show itself has it's ups and downs. especially when it does a character focus episode. The action is very much in the style of the director, there's wire-work and a tad more creativity in the combat then other shows. Assuming you're not watching it's worth a watch.

So Ultraman Ginga's on it's month long break, but the last two episodes gave me some hope for the show. In hindsight it's clear that they were scrounging budget from eps 3 and 4 so that JeanKiller would get as much as SFX budget as possible. I'd totally recommend checking out Over-Times subs of those episodes, it's some fun stuff. Still behind on Wizard eps, but happy that the plot is on a roll now. No real earth-shaking twists here (guess they used that on Gremlin's backstory), but I like that it seems were in store for a 3 way showdown over the philosopher's stone. I hadn't heard about the Wizard TV special news, but I'll reserve judgement until I see how it all plays out. I liked Tsukasa as a super-smug Kamen Rider, so having him be in a stand-alone story would be fine; but not if it's the finale of Wizard's Plot. I watched TV-N's sub of the Gaimu preview and am all-in on it. Fruit Riders that breakdance and somehow it all has to do with Sengoku era stuff? Where do I sign up? Part of me keeps hoping the Otakon Kyoryuger dance video actually makes it into the show since it was sent in. Part of me hopes it doesn't.

I'm still not sure on 5e, up till now we've mostly done the one-shot adventures that come with the DnD Next stuff. Combat is still simplified as to say 2nd/3rd edition, but the attacks and class/race skills allow for a little more creativity then I feel there was in 4e. I've mostly played a Halfling Rogue and exoiting it's coverage bonus sneak advantage roll skill. Hopefully they've reworked that because I can pretty much sneak attack from range at all times. With the new campaign though I'll revert to Dwarf Fighter and give that a spin.
