The movie Dutch with Ed O'Neill came to life and has taken over my browser.

1y, 4m of whatever ability they can get out of him beats, um, not having a WR besides Cobb who knows what a route is.

That's probably even odder feeling than it sounds.

He can sing a few songs and pretend he's facing a dug up clip of Andre singing at some point.

I'll just post the image of the German Suplex to Otani as it doesn't look like anything severe, but I'll throw it in a spoiler tag anyway.

No change in an update from Z1. Based on an image just before the impact into the buckle, I'm not sure what would have went wrong because it doesn't look super unsafe or anything. Either he hit just wrong or it's accumulated damage I would guess.

He was taken out on a stretcher and couldn't feel his limbs at the time. His sister was there and went to the hospital with him.

Can I just sit and watch a baseball game without thinking about OPS+ or fielding range stats or what have you?
No, get your scoring book. Remember, show your work.

If the Great O-Khan has become even more amazing - if my translation is right, he saved a girl from being assaulted by a drunk at a train station. When asked for his name at the train station, his response: "New Japan Pro Wrestling's Great O-Khan, so if you like, look at pro wrestling" (from Google translate so probably off).
He's being honored for it at least.

I opened up a fortune cookie this week and instead of a fortune there was an add for a crypto exchange so I am now pricing out shacks deep in the woods.

Of course they are. This is why I hate people.
Your hatred is why we can't have nice things. That and I steal them.

They don't specifically say the drugs in his system, but opiods could of course include heroin or it could all be prescription stuff. Benzos are easy to OD on, but who really cares about THC. That type of anti-depressant can be used for other things too. I'm sure whatever was in him could have caused his reported chest pains, but we'll just wait and see. This stuff is only out because the idiots leaked it to the tabloids down there in the first place.
-
He OD'd on heroin in 2001 and was in a coma for a few weeks, but since then I haven't heard anything. If he did anything he kept it quiet. This fucking sucks. One of my favorite groups of all time. Sucks so hard for his family and friends and everyone else beyond that. If there is a god, I'm pissed at it.

Finally, a t-shirt for the common fan.

You get older, you go to school, you help make promotional pitches pushing future wars of aggression. Tale as old as time.

Man, total opposite here. I couldn't be happier to be well shot of all of it. I hit a point where I just saw the inherent self-destruction of the business as a completely avoidable slow-motion car crash, and I haven't been able to shake that feeling for a long, long time (going back to before Eddy's death, even). Misawa's death only cemented the sensation. It's probably in part why I have such negative opinions of the NFL with respect to their handling of CTE, though to be fair, the NFL is run by a bunch of dumb, greedy assholes who handle everything badly. Being here at all is (nearly) the full extent of connection I still have to that time.
I also keep up with a few non-DVDVR types on Twitter, but I have kept up with them for literally 20 years now. Mostly Dynamic A & Dave Walsh, who I know some of you know, and other people who are/were more Happy Wrestling Land-adjacent than anywhere else. I guess they're still a site, too, but there really hasn't ever been enough going on there with respect to not-wrestling for me to interact with it on any meaningful level.
I talk with Adam and Walsh all the time.

Ditch works for the god damned Heritage Foundation as a policy analyst. I'll leave it at that. If you know what that is, you already know what you probably think about it one way or another. End of topic.
