  1. They've done 3 Cell matches in one night before in 2009. I mean, it was a bad idea then but I don't know why anyone is surprised they're doing it again.
  2. I saw Hogan vs Flair at a Raw in Toronto in 2002. It was the same night the Undertaker dragged Hogan with his motorcycle backstage and I remember that way more than the match.
  3. I had the same problems with Sabre a lot of people had. Then last night I saw him live and have a match against Tarik, a local guy, for Smash Wrestling that blew away my expectations. So now he can do no wrong. Gallagher had a great match against Psycho Mike too but Sabre-Tarik is my live MOTY so far. The moral of the story is: live wrestling is the best.
  4. The "YES!" of pure joy at the 3:19 mark put such a big smile on my face.
  5. In the grand scheme of things, no matter what they do with Bayley or anyone else in developmental, all that really matters is that I got tickets to the Toronto show.
  6. Bring back "Wild and Young"...with swoosh sounds.
  7. I just want to know why Singapore canes are under the ring every show.
  8. I think this place is restricted Wang, so don't tell 'em you're Jewish.
  9. This. He's been the best and most consistent guy in Ontario for the last 10 years. Such a good wrestler, so happy for him.
  10. I was hoping Teddy Long's return was leading to other GM's of the past coming out to audition over the next few weeks. Vickie Guerrero, Regal, Big Johnny, Eric Bischoff. But then Steph announced herself and that was that. No Mike Adamle or Brad Maddox returns.
  11. There is a tag team called the Flatliners in Ontario. Asylum and Matt Burns. They're pretty good and nearly won season 3 of "The Amazing Race Canada"
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWubQzo2Z-4 Which Doink is this?
  13. I figured Anderson and Gallows would cost AJ the match which would lead to AJ bringing Balor up as his partner. Then Owens beat him clean and I thought "Huh...wonder what they'll do now." I would have been pissed if AJ won. Dude took a powerbomb on the steps. If the steps can stop Brock, they should stop AJ.
  14. "People say I eat too many chocolate bars or don't wash my face." Sorry, wrong PSA, Carry on.
  15. That clearly means Scott Dawson reads my posts.
  16. A lot of the jokes go on too long but Vince summoning the giraffe and Big Show's reaction to his own joke made me laugh out loud.
  17. Well they could use Sasha but that would require them actually having her do things.
  18. I would have started a thread earlier but I got distracted and rolled up. I bet Jericho's jacket cost at least 40,50 bucks. I liked the Reigns-AJ build and D'von's Rainmaker.
  19. I thought it was strange that they mentioned that Joe was facing Balor at this show on this weeks TV. They announce dates and locations but never matches so it stuck out and now I know why.
  20. I forgot about Superkick'd. I love the atmosphere of their shows. Also May 15th in Toronto is a show called "Mayhem in Greektown" with Space Monkey vs Mike Bailey. Can't wait for that one.
  21. Smash shows are a lot of fun. They have a great roster of talented local guys and a couple indy names and they use them well. They have a strong emphasis on women's wrestling, even having Cherry Bomb vs Courtney Rush main event their last show. I will admit their last show was a little disappointing with the big names being Bull James and the guitarist from "Every Time I Die" but there were still entertaining Psycho Mike Rollins vs Frankie the Mobster and Façade vs Player Dos matches along with the main. May 29th has Johnny Gargano vs Eric Young and a 10 man tournament with Sushi from All Japan announced so far. They're a good group and their shows are worth checking out.
  22. Cagematch says Sandow and Fandango beat Los Matadores in Dubai so he's on a tour.
  23. There are 3 really good companies in Ontario. Smash from Toronto. Alpha-1 from Hamilton and C4 from Ottawa. All 3 use a good mix of local guys and indy "names". Plus Josh Alexander is returning from a neck injury thought to be career ending and he'll hopefully return to how good he was before he retired.
  24. I had a great time watching this with my friends. The only finishes that I didn't like were Jericho and LON winning. Biggest nitpick was someone not sweeping Becky Lynch's hat off the stage after it fell off 2 seconds into her entrance. The Boss shouldn't have to step over someone's hat. Also, you either have to take the Wyatt's off TV until Harper comes back or split them up. Poor Erick Rowan. I went into the show looking more forward to tonight's Raw but considering the show was being held together by spit and duct tape, there wasn't a thing wrong with the in ring work and I was entertained.
