You can say and spell his name a 100 different ways but it doesn't hide the fact that he is an overrated joke. Oh, I know he's overrated. Another strike against Bruce Allen for being suckered into thinking Orakpo was worthy enough of being franchised.

I don't mean to question anyone's spending habits. Sorry if if comes across that way. But for the average person like me, who can't particularly tell the difference when it comes to various sounds, the cheap headphones are the way to go. Oh, no offense taken. I was just trying to explain why someone would spend a sizable amount of money on ear/headphones. And that doesn't include third party cables, custom molded earpieces, etc. Yeah, Deadspin has a pic of Tom Brady wearing what looks like Beats earphones during warmups, and he's not even an endorser.

Oh lord, Dick Stockton is calling the Skins vs Cardinals game. If I have a drink every time he mispronounces Orakpo I'll probably be dead.

Well, for some people (including myself), the higher-end earphones and headphones bring out the sound noticeably better than cheap ones. Also, the real high end stuff has changeable cables, which was always the problem I have with other earphones when the cables go bad. I listen to a wide variety of stuff from early John Tesh to J-pop/J-rock to thrash metal, so headphones like Beats aren't really conducive to my listening style.

From what I've seen online, most hardcore Gundam fans love Turn A. Casual fans hate it with a passion, though.

Modern (aka post-Victory Gundam) Tomino's a bit fascinating because of the varying quality of his work. You've got the widely acclaimed (OKG), the mixed reviewed (Turn A, the Zeta movies) and the widely panned (Brain Powerd, Wings of Rean). Other than Anno I'm not sure if there's any other big name in anime who's generated such a broad spectrum like that.

Yeah, finally watched the first two episodes. It really is typical modern Tomino storytelling. I'll wait to see if the series develops a voice for itself, but right now it seems more like a sequel to Overman King Gainer mixed with Gundam. I'm almost wondering if it would be better if Tomino had kept to the original idea when G-Reco was announced two years ago to keep it separate from the Gundam franchise. I enjoyed Build Fighter Try a lot more, too.

Well, the one in the OVAs is the New (Powered) Layzner. The MkII was never animated. It's notable characteristic is that it's transformable. And interestingly enough, Hobbylink.tv just put up a review of the web exclusive MkII figure.

At this point Snyder should say that he'll change the name if the Wiz change their name back to the Bullets.

The biggest thing that they had to cut out, IMO, was the Layzner MkII. I prefer it over the New (Powered) Layzner from the OVAs when the series appears in SRW.

He probably switched to the baseball game just in time to see the umpires possibly blow a call to hurt the Tigers.

At least the Caps start the regular season this week. And there's always the Wiz too. I'm just hoping that the Skins can keep it within 3 TDs tomorrow night. Although I'll be watching RAW; no matter how bad the WWE is right now, it's light years ahead of trying to stomach the Skins during a night game.
