There was a story on one of the local (DC) evening news shows about the same towing company towing a guy's car for having expired tags...even though he was parked at the DMV and trying to renew said tags. The same company was also in the news a couple of weeks ago for almost towing a car with two kids in it while the dad was in CVS getting cold medicine for one of the kids. It'll be interesting to see if the company releases the unedited video like some of the news stations have asked them for.

So the second cour of Aldnoah ended this weekend. Other than a little bit of a letdown with the ending (albeit it sets it up for a sequel), the second cour was SO much better than the first cour in terms of storytelling.

Lenovo PCs ship with man-in-the-middle adware that breaks HTTPS connections Basically, Lenovo purposely put on some of their laptops a piece of software that hijacked and interjected itself into HTTPS connections to display ads, which is a huge no-no and could easily lead to hacks, etc. So far it's only been found on the cheaper laptops, though, and not desktops are more expensive laptops.

Not sure if this is the best thread for this, but if you or someone you know has a fairly recent cheap Lenovo laptop, you'll probably need to look and see if it's been 'infected' with the Superfish malware.

As a Skins fan...I hate football. (And I have no problem with Shanny's remarks. With all the continuing reports of Bob's out of control ego, I wouldn't be shocked if he was even more forceful in what he said to Shanny and Shanny's just toning them down.)

This was my all time favourite Goodell-ism. I think what puts it over the top is that the NFLPA got hoodwinked into agreeing to the collusion so that the salary cap could be raised. And then when they went to the judge that oversees the CBA crying about collusion, the judge basically laughed at them.
