    I just finished the final volume of Locke & Key. So very amazingly good. If you haven't read it, you need to, and I am very jealous of you being able to do it from start to finish in a binge reading.

    It is an extremely painful time to be an Islanders fan, every time they get some momentum they start throwing players away. It's horrible and extremely disheartening. They are looking to trade MacDonald as well now. When are they going to start playing NHL players real NHL salaries? If they cannot consistently put a good product on the ice no one is going to come watch them & moving to Brooklyn won't mean shit. They need real owners and a real GM. Enough is enough damn it. As an aside, I still think it's a crime that Okposo isn't on Team USA.

    I had figured it was part of the whole Gothtopia deal, I just thought that was starting next week on its own. There was absolutely zero segue from in continuity to whatever the hell Gothtopia is going to be. I just read issue 26 yesterday and am currently 4 weeks behind in reading my weekly pulls. The stack of comics I need to read to catch up is daunting.

    Anyone else on here reading Detective? If so, WTF was that with Catwoman showing up at Wayne Manor in an overcoat over Robin gear at the end of the last issue? There was no indication of the issue being Elseworlds or Earth 2 or any of that before that last page.

    It really says something that other than the two dudes who are in the Finals none of the other guys are fighting meanwhile there are two additional women's bouts and would have been three if the remaining two women weren't hurt. They ladies were the best part of this season, both in & out of the cage. Really hoping Rakozy wins, I hate this crybaby victim bullshit Pena pulled all season and in her blog on MMAfighting.com. Poor baby who received obvious special attention the whole season from her buddies Tate & Carraway. I hope Rakozy separates her from consciousness. Duke vs. Morgan should be a nice brawl and I'm happy Roxanne is getting a shot in the UFC.

    I would really, really like it if they just integrated the TV & Movie Universes. Having synergy would help both out immensely. I am trying to give mini-Flash the benefit of the doubt, I just really love Barry in the comics, so I hope he's good. And I definitely enjoy Arrow, sure there are some missteps, but as a whole it's a really fun show. Looks like we're definitely going to see the Lazarus Pit come into play, which is really interesting.

    I think part of the problem is that you have to almost murder someone to get a 10-8 round. They don't properly use the numbers they have, how is giving them more numbers (half points) going to help the situation?

    I have to think that at this point, they look at Scott Snyder as their golden boy and well they should. His Batman run has been fantastic and American Vampire is amazing. The Wake is very, very good and I think Superman Unchained will pick up steam.

    I don't know, I have FS1 or FS2 on quite often when I'm working out in the morning and I see ads for the FS1 events, PPVs, & TUF all the time. However that & when I'm watching a UFC event or TUF is the only time I have those channels on. Do they not show the ads during any other sporting events? When I have it on in the mornings they are either showing past UFC events or whatever the hell they call their version of SportsCenter.

    Arrow definitely improves as the episodes go, however I still cannot stand Momma McQueen. Horrible.

    Didn't someone recently, or maybe in the last year or two, receive their black belt the day before or day of their fight and then get tapped by a fighter with a much lower level belt? Was it Bendo getting tapped by Pettis? I keep wanting to think it was Rashad that this happened to, but I'm not sure if that's right. You're probably thinking Benson because Rashad has never lost by submission. Also, he got his black belt three months before he lost to Pettis at UFC 164. Benson is a black belt who was submitted by a blue belt, Pettis. This. Mr. Miyagi said that the true function of a belt is to keep your pants from falling down. He was right. Honestly, I think the question is, who gave you your black belt? My instructors; Matt & Nick Serra received their black belts from Renzo Gracie, they are legitimate black belts in BJJ. The same as those who have received black belts from Matt & Nick. It's not simply the belt, it's the lineage and I think people lose sight of that.

    Would anyone else like to see another season in the style of the comeback season? Veteran fighters getting a second shot? Also, I think this season is going to make Rousey look really bad, and I've been a fan. Just the way she has been reacting to the press and the way she looks in the coming attractions, she just looks emotionally unstable in everything I've seen.

    37 but almost always mistaken for being in my mid twenties. Training good genes, training BJJ, & being Straight Edge have kept me looking young. However I've got a bad shoulder, bad knees, a bad back, and arthritis! I also have a 14 year old daughter who I hold responsible for the increasing number of grey hairs in my goatee!

    I'm starting Joe Hill's NOS4A2 today, really excited to get into it after reading the first 5 Volumes of Locke & Key. Anxiously awaiting Volume 6!
