  1. The heel tease stuff only started in January. Before then they just pushed that she was getting more aggressive, and that particular started with the Blair feud as need to combat Blair on her level.
  2. So basically they settled for what probably should have just been lawyer fees after they either won the case outright or settled for a $billion or two more?
  3. Why does the Corrupted seem to bring out the dumbest D2 players. Why are even bother with the Nightfall if you aren't even going to attempt Platinum? Its makes getting the weapon all the damn harder. Edit: It is of course after complaining that I find a decent team of blueberries to run with. Always weird how this happens. Will say that the game does continue to annoy/confuse me with the refusal to give me Nightfall weapons I actually want until I run a GM. Its weird to get a good Adept weapon before I get a good normal version.
  4. They had a damn good match during the Dusty Cup. Would love to see them run it back, especially opposed to a Good Brothers match.
  5. Caught the first two episodes and loved them. You can feel the labor of love put into them, especially with that reanimated opening redone music. They really aimed to keep the look and feel of the original series while updating the look and animation. Those fights scenes are better looking than anything we got in the old series. Loved the trial in episode 2. Was hoping they would avoid Maddie & Rogue/Magneto, but I'm curious to see how they adapt it as X-men and Spiderman both did a generally solid job of adapting comic stories without being too slavish to them from what I have read since and understand from others. Really digging the episode length and pacing so far. Hope they continue to take advantage of D+ and using more time when needed.
  6. Are the Creeds anymore dangerous than the Steiners were when they started?
  7. Roxanne/Tatum was good fun. Dug the aggression from both, and I'm loving heel Roxanne. The post match beatdown on Lyra was neat and a good final setup for Roxanne/Lyra II. The Oba/Dijak/Briggs segment was alright and little amusing for the Shaft comments. Will be interesting to see if they go the 3-way route or just a singles match. Not sure which I would prefer. The Gigi/Grace segment was short and fun. I look forward to seeing more of these two interact. Frazer/Axiom vs. Dempsey/Borne was good stuff. Frazer and Axiom always look great so it as nice to see Dempsey and Borne take so much control and show more of what they can do. Sol/Brinley was a decent little showcase for both women. Gulak/Riley was pretty solid with some nice action and neat surprises in the pinfalls. Would have liked to see them go more rounds and draw the match out more, but this was about giving Riley just enough of a showcase while continuing Thea's feud with Jacy and co. Hank & Tank vs. Good Brothers was a solid hoss fight. Trick/Dar was good at a surprising level with how much chemistry Noam and Trick had. These are not two guys you would think would mesh so well, but they gelleed a good deal. Dug the bits with Lash clearly being a bit lost on her attraction to Trick vs. loyalty to M4. At least 3 good matches with everything else being pretty decent-solid both match and segment wise. I'm liking the build going on with the women's division at war. Don't see War Games returning to NXT, but it kind of would be perfect with the feuds building and interacting. Hopefully we at least get a big tag at Stand and Deliver. Pretty solid show tonight.
  8. All signs are hinting towards Black Armory and old beloved Pinnacle weapons like Recluse and Mountaintop which I think are before you started playing. They are among the community's favorite weapons though who knows if that will still be the case with new perks and general changes that have happened over the years.
  9. I'm watching right now. Seems to be a Horde defense mode with a little bit of Rift for pyramid ship invasions/boss fights. You can decoys, turrets, tripmines for defense. Goes to 50 waves. Shaxx is the vendor for the activity. Midnight Coup is confirmed to return weapon wise. Sounds like we won't hear more about loot until next week. Fallen and Hive will be the main enemies though all of the enemy forces of the Witness will seemingly show up sans the Taken(?). Seem to imply that whatever story is going on involves the Taken which is why they aren't a focus in the activity.
  10. Finally finished up the Passage of Persistence for Trials. Its annoying, but I can see how its potentially easier to do for some vs. Mercy. Still not all that great considering I played enough Trials to reset again. I haven't done that in nearly two years. I think the frustrations of Trials remain regardless of Passage. There are way too many bad players, cheaters, etc. ARs are basically broken at this point. They get way too much distance without enough damage fall off and are basically at Tracer Rifle levels of stability. If that isn't a bug then whoever made that decision is a moron. Hopefully, they don't take forever to adjust, but I doubt it changes any time soon.
  11. Forgot to mention, but I did enjoy Pat referencing that Dom was booed at his wedding.
  12. The Usos' faceoff was fine. Was nice to see Cody make the save. DIY/Creeds built into a damn fine match as expected. Was great seeing the crowd into both teams a good deal. Hopefully the Creeds get more build so the crowd is into without them having to go all out each match as the future persists. KC Squared vs. Indi/Candice was another angle masquerading as match to push Candice's new heel character. I kind of dig it, especing the absolutely dickish pride she had post match. Cody's segment was solid. Ricochet/Dom was pretty fun with Ricochet getting in a good showcase. Will be interesting to see what happens when Judgement Day breaks up post Mania. I kind of hope JD sticks with Dom as they two play well to each other. The Sami/Gunther contract signing and Sami's segments with Gable were all good. I like the idea that Sami can't just rely on his underdog energy to take him through it. I don't ant Sami to win, but I have to say I would kind of love for Sami to maybe get some extra training from Gable to push himself to the next level and come close. Awesome Truth vs. Indus Sher was fun. Loved how Awesome Truth made their entrance. Was neat seeing one segment bleed into the next with some different camera angles in use. Its been good seeing WWE trest some new ideas out production wise post Dunn. Hope it continues. The Seth/Drew segment was another solid on between the two. Drew continues to give some of the bes t character work of his career. Seth is a goofball, but I d actually give him credit for stepping up the past few months during a lot of these segments. He isn't close as good as his opponents, but he also isn't so far behind its embarrassing like he has been in the past. New Day vs. Otis/Tozawa was another fun match. Was nice seeing Otis and Akira actually get in a decent showcase against a team like New Day. Becky/Nia wasn't as good as their last match, but was still a solid garbage brawl. Most of the matches and segments ranged from pretty decent-solid, but we did get a great standout match in DIY vs. Creeds. That is match that deserves to happen again with the belts on the line and one of them as champs. Another solid show with Wrestlemania taking shape and unfinished business finally ending on Becky's journey to Rhea.
  13. Trials continues to be a practice in frustration. Way too many people bringing in moronic weapon choices for the map in use and always on my team. I just wish people who know they have no business being in solo Trials would stay out of it. If you aren't even half decent you won't even get loot.
  14. The Rock's segment started off fun and then veered into awesome bastard heel territory when he got serious. I only wish this wasn't in such a pro-Rock town since the boos would have been amazing. LWO vs. Legado was good. Glad Angel and Carillo won although I dislike that it wasn;t for a spot straight up in the ladder match. The tourney step for this feels unnecessary unless some NXT teams are going to be involved. Orton/Waller was fun. Loved that stunner/RKO combo on Theory. It was dumb and fun in the best ways. Santos/Dragon was too short, but it and the post match brawl at least go us back to Santos/Rey. Still disappointed they seem to be ending it on Smackdown instead of Wrestlemania. Pretty Deadly vs. New Catch Republic was good. Bayley/Dakota was solid before the inevitable DQ finish came. I typically would prefer an actual finish, but it was good to see Damage Ctrl continue to build up some heel momentum. Naomi trying and failing to make the save was nice as well. Will be interesting to see if Bianca is dragged in or not. Originally I figured we might get her vs. Jade, but it feels more or more likely Jade next real moment will be post mania vs. whomever is the winner of Bayley/Io. Nothing too special match wise though everything was fun and used well to push feuds and stories forward. The tag matches were good and worth a catch. Segment wise the Rock's stood above all though the rest was generally decent. Solid show.
  15. I assume its because Shayna isn't wrestling at Wrestlemania and Barnett is one of her former trainers. Its nice to see them willing to do more of these one-offs. I hope it continues. I know Michaels has mentioned wanting to do such things for NXT.
  16. I thought that was just a random Aztecross theory.
  17. Curious to see what they show. Glad they are doing live streams although I have to admit I'm just a pinch disappointed Into the Light will be new content. I was really hoping for some curated missions from all of Destiny for catchup/review of the Light vs. Dark saga before the Final Shape. Can't help but think they are making a mistake if they don't do something of that nature even if it just a long recap movie/vid. I do find the plans for all the latest update's new and re-issued weapons to have enhancement capabilities come The Final Shape to be interesting. Very curious to see if that will be the new norm or something focused around weapons from higher level activities in general. I figured they would eventually go beyond Raid Adepts, but I assumed it would be kept to other Adept weapons from GMS and Trials due to the work needed to gain them. GG weapons and Prophecy weapons getting the go ahead is surprising. Will definitely have to keep an eye on the Title and Taraxippos now. I was kind of skipping them since there are better versions of both from worlds drops.
  18. Its sad, but I'm not really sure there are strong arguments for that being an incorrect train of thought. People prove to be dumb and/or ignorant so often just in general.
  19. If Brooks ever gets legit pushed I actually do kind of want them to bring back Separate Ways. They are too cheap to, but it would be nice. I'm hoping we get the Women's Dusty Cup post S&D/WM. I always thought it was weird how wrestling has trained people to think otherwise.
  20. LWO/OTM was good. Both teams looked good, showing plenty of chemistry all around. Roxanne's segment was good and another case of a heel who isn't necessarily in the wrong for the most part. Lyra kind of brought that beating on herself. Looking forward ot Tatum/Roxanne next week. King/Stone was alright. Oba/Brooks could have been a bit shorter, but it was pretty solid a longer semi-competitive squash. While it was nice to get a better look at what Oba is capable of Jensen, as he is right now, is not the person you really want to see working a longer match with Oba. Still with Dijak and Briggs both having their little faceoffs with Femi I assume we are either going with one of them or a triple threat for Stand and Deliver. Arianna/Gigi was actually pretty decent and fun though that finish was unexpected. I think that is the first time a woman has been dqed for giving another woman a low blow in WWE. It was strange but also pretty amusing for the ridiculous faces both made when it went down. Happy to see Grace pick up the win. Will be interesting to see what makeover she gives Gigi. Thea/Fallon vs. Kiana/Izzi was pretty nice. The post match with Thea finally acknowledging Jacy's real personality was nice to see though it all feels kind of late to head this direction after Jacy saved Chase U. Seems weird to go this direction with Jacy getting a similar reaction to Duke as dickish face. Holland/Spears was solid. Still not sure where it all goes. The final segment with Trick laying everything out with the challenge to Melo was nice. The Meta-Four interruption was unexpected but worked out well as a moment for Trick to shine. That kiss with Lash has me wondering if she and Trick are actually an item in real life. No great matches but plenty of fun with two standouts in in the tag matches. Dug most of the segments and I like the build so far for Stand and Deliver. Fun show overall. Same high energy, but the new girl is more about hyper positivity opposed to Thea's screaming warrior hype. I do think its strange, but I like what she brings to the table for Enofe & Blade.
  21. That makes sense. I suspect Hunters would still be winning but not dominating if not for the Skimmer quest. They probably should have rethought that one. I know when I finished up mine I only had 680-690 medals via the long route, and that was the most Destiny I had played in months. The sad thing is I see some freaking out about skimmers and not understanding those are absolutely going to become a norm post GG. We are definitely getting exotic skimmers for game rewards and Eververse buys come TFS and beyond. It is interesting seeing how things have been going and the talk of Hunters being around 50%+ of the community. Can't help but think that number is skewed due to players having all three classes vs. those with just one. I suspect a lot of one character players are Hunter mains like myself because any time in the past they messed with the numbers in GG to attempt to make things more fair Hunters got royally screwed. Meanwhile those with multiple characters are typically not Hunter mains. Also guessing not enough people are going for the Diamond medals. Those are seemingly more points than everything else.
  22. Next Clan Perk was finally achieved. The positives of a long season.
  23. The Seth/Drew segment was solid. Becky/Liv was pretty good, probably the best either has looked so far this year. Indi/Candice vs. Ivy/Maxxine was weird and mostly an angle for a Candice heel turn. The Cody/Cole interview was solid. Kabuki Warriors vs. Shayna/Zoey was pretty solid despite so little heat. Wish all involved were given better build/booking. Truth/Priest was pretty decent with the post match beatdown by Judgement Day being a nice heel moment for the group. Jey's segment was a nice and simple challenge to Jimmy that the crowd was pretty ready for. The gauntlet match was fantastic. Each matchup was well worth catching on its own with the final between Gable and Sami hitting the next level completely with some wonderful drama and the crowd behind both men. I dislike Sami winning as I think his goal should be the world title, and Gunther's eventual title loss should be used to elevate someone like Gable. I can only hope that is still the plan even with Sami just getting the big Wrestlemania match. The First and final matches were damn good-great and well worth watching with all but one of the matches and segments in between being pretty decent to solid. Its good to see Wrestlemania continue to take solid shape and wrestlers who likely won't have a noteworthy presence there still receive some solid build for momentum post-mania.
  24. Actually went Flawless not long after that last comment. Sadly didn't get a good Adept Incisor though its still nice to have succeeded.
  25. Got my third engram finally. Realizing where I screwed up was doing the focus activities too soon. You need to make sure you do at least one after the first tier of rewards is unlocked. After that I was able to get engrams and complete the quest with ease. With that done and just the Destination and champ challenges left I will probably focus on the Crucible side of GG since it aligns with stuff i'm already trying to do like get an adept Incisor and the Iron banner Shader.
