Gilmore was running a trail tech and McCourty himself said they were in Cover 2 and that he blew the coverage.

They were in Cover 2, which means that McCourty should've been over the top of the route while Gilmore's responsibility would've been underneath(which is why he had his head turned looking at Alex Smith instead of Hill. McCourty got baited by Kelce going over the middle and blew the coverage.

Heh, funny thing is that wasn't even his fault. Still was pretty funny watching him get burned, though.

Well, that was fun. Had to watch the first few rounds on a phone because the FightPass stream died a death due to all those late orders. Conor did much better than I expected, though I never really got the sense that Floyd was in any real serious danger aside from maybe that bodyshot that got him up against the ropes in the 6th or 7th round. When Conor got gassed and Floyd started walking him down, it was pretty much inevitable, but still, aggressive Floyd was a welcome sight after all the sleepwalking he'd done since probably the second Maidona fight. Meh, Shoto's parental issues honestly bore me and you don't even need the tourney to have All Might want to send Midoriya to Gran Torino. Never said the series was about teamwork. Either way, I just wasn't a fan of the tourney.

I would've liked the sports festival arc a lot more if the final tourney was a team one. You could still have Deku's team lose, but showcasing some more on-the-spot tactics and teamwork would've fit more of the vibe of the series instead of the Michael Bay-fest we actually got between the three main guys.

Finally caught up with My Hero Academia. Loved the Stain arc so much more than the sports festival one, which felt way too cliche and dragged toward the end with the 1-on-1 tourney. The kids having to work as a team instead of taking on every threat by themselves remains one of my favorite things about the series.
