For me, it was being miserable in middle school (I didn't learn why a lot of it until later), but I got to go home, and I got to watch ESPN at 4PM after coming home and getting tea. ESPN showed old World Class eps during that time, I got to watch about 5-6 years of WCCW TV, beginning with the very early Von Erich stuff vs King Kong Bundy (With hair), then the Freebird Feud and Flair, then the Dynamic Duo, then it started going downhill, but by that point I had found what I liked. I enjoyed the athletic big men like Andre or Ernie Ladd, then Vader. So for me, it was World Class. I enjoyed the athleticism, the fact that the bouts looked like fights (WCCW and UWF were the best at that, those were the promotions I enjoyed the most as a kid), the heels weren't total cowards all the time. WWF style really grated on me as a kid, I liked Perfect, Kerry (of course), Savage- because I could tell those folks could go, but the rest of it was unfun to watch. @SparklefaceMadusa did things to me as a kid as well, but I thought everyone secretly wanted to be as cool and attractive as Medusa, but it just wasn't something you said, so I figured most folks kept it to themselves. ^_^ @just drew I though Waltman was the shit when I first saw him on those ESPN broadcasts. Then I saw him on Job DUty in WWF, and I was upset, then I heard about the upset of Razor, and that actually made me gain interest in WWF for a bit, with Bret keeping me around

AEW has three good stars in their women's division IMO- Shida, Willow, and Hayter. They're all over as hell, all deliver in ring. Jade has the potential to be bigger than all three, but she'll need the ring epics for that.

Given that it was Danielson, you definitely want to go easy on a spear given his history and the ZSJ match coming up. I'm ok with Ricky doing a weak one there. Enjoyed Dark Order Shenanigans and their new gimmick. Also Stat was two for two in carrying folks to great main events this weekend. Let Bullet Club Gold beat up luchadors every week! Can we bring back Juventud to be fed to Juice?

I went to a very low attendance Chikara show in Gibsonville NC once. Think it was over 100 though. That Chikara show was the safest I ever felt in a crowd, and the nicest crowd I've ever been in though!

CM Punk may be a lot of things, but a right-wing transphobe isn't one of them. I can't see him ever working there unless he bought it and fired Corgan on the spot. To me, the sad thing about all of this is I think Punk wanted to be good, do the right thing. He probably still sees himself as the hero, but his demons caused him to lose his way. I hope he gets therapy, or whatever it takes, to get back on the right path in life. While I agree with the decision to let him go, I still consider it really sad.

Hangman is their guy once their current guys slow down too much, and he's been built up as their top babyface. He needs to be on TV, though he needs to have programs away from the Elite, except when something is going down so bad he needs help. the BCC was a big enough threat that the Elite were needed. I'd probably move Hangman over to Collision to work with Jay, or move BCG over to Dynamite.

I wonder if the plan is eventually to have Sammy/Ospreay for Ospreay's belt? Maybe bring Sammy into one of NJPW's late shows or a Strong show so Ospreay can have another defense between WK? I wonder how Sammy would be perceived by a Japanese NJPW Crowd.

Here's the question would a Collision style show be worse off without Punk? make Jay the ace, he's a lot better than Punk is.

In the crowd last night- it was very mixed. Some folks liked both teams, some folks hated Punk loved FTR, some Punk fans. I was full on team HoB. Only thing you can do is roll with it, and do NJPW-style booking where fans just pick their babyfaces and heels. There were diehard Suzuki-Gun fangirls in NJPW.

Got to see the event live, I was the spooky witch in the crowd. Hopefully I don't get sick ,a bit worried. HoB was over, especially Brody. Punk was very mixed reaction. Main was good-ass wrestling, the women were good, the dark match ( Gunns/Infantry) was pretty good.

They did one on I think Collision as part of Anna's promo. Might have been Rampage.

I'd say Hangman needs the win back, and Kenny doesn't need wins at this point in his career. Could be done after MJF/Punk if needed.

It's Amazing how Collision has made me realize that Punk could be a net positive for AEW. I thought it was going to be a disaster, but I've been massively surprised. Punk/Hangman or Punk/Omega would be a low-build match that would seem mega-special. I kinda wish it was Zack/Jericho instead of Ospreay/Jericho. Zack could cover Jericho if he is laying an egg- Jericho's still great when he's on, but he has more stinkers now.

I really kinda wish Jesse Ventura-style heel commentary was around more. I liked the Jesse was a heel, but respected the face's ability. He was great in Sting/Vader matches.

I really don't want ECW retreads in AEW. I hope it's a more modern deathmatch guy, or a protege. Colby Corino perhaps?

That was as weak as I expected coming into the show. Darby/Swerve was good, everything else was just there, and Britt was exceptionally bad. They need to just give up on Britt, yeah I know she's never going WWE but she's regressing and pretty soon the fans are going to turn on her hard.

You can do some before and some after. Stat/Shafir could have been before, the stuff for Rampage you set up on Dynamite can be after. This was probably the weakest Collision so far, and it was still very, very good. I really wish we could get some of the Dynamite folks, especially Hangman, on a Collision-styled show. The Dynamite-style is kinda wearing out my welcome with me some, even though I like a lot of the folks on Dynamite.
