Miz seems like a guy who would have done better in the 80s, much like Cody Rhodes. His big flaws to me are a lack of athleticism and high-impact offense, but he does the other stuff well to very well. Also, I think he's underrated as a tag guy- how many tag guys has be had reigns and good runs with? That's another area you can compare him to Arn.

Looking around at the Dick Murdoch stuff led me to this- which might be one of the best sprint world title matches ever from the 80s.

Really wish we saw more exhaustion selling in today's matches like we did that Murdoch/Windham match

You can be a scrawny guy and make it work. I mean, look at Waltman in his Lightning Kid days- the dude looked like a bratty toothpick, and always has- but he had the offense to make it work.

They do trios instead of tags, the trios teams are pretty much, esp Mundo/Evans/PJ. Best cheating I've seen in a few years.

It was a pre-fight test on June 28th.

The amount of guys cheering like that for Bryan were maybe 5% of the people cheering. It was a lot more than the guys in the VFW cheering him on. Bryan and Punk also got decent early pushes which helped- neither of them ever really got buried the way most non-chosen guys do. The Brand split really helped both of them early.

I like it. Some mediocre eps but that and the Hardy stuff is pretty much what I want out of pro wrestling these days.

Or have him find Vampiro. Only problem with that is you get Roman in LU, and I don't want him in LU.

All of it was good this week.

This week's ep was just the 1 match, but the end of it was so damn good wrestling.

He hurt his neck bad, and when he came back, he wasn't good in ring at all, plus perhaps some out-of-ring issues, led to him going into ECW (but a fun feud with Burchill) and then obscurity. I still think if WCW had stayed around, he would have been a main eventer there in 2-3 years.

the WCW limit was 235 at one point. Having La Parka as a cruiser kinda stretched even that. What was next, the Honky Tonk Man? In World Class, they had Cactus Jack as a light heavyweight at one point.

We need someone to do a Disco Inferno sweating off the lbs to make cruiser limit angle at some point.

Game is pretty fun, though much more fun with groups where you know you'll work together at least some.

I'd like to see Cobb in NXT or WWE- I think his style would work well there if he was allowed to be a suplex machine- he'd have to be able to do that stuff on bigger guys than Cage though- it looks like he can.

Goldberg had a unique charisma, much like Warrior. The DDP/Goldberg wasn't all DDP either.
