How many guys did TNA have chances to make THE guy.
Monty Brown, Jay Lethal, Joe, Pope, Christian, Nigel?
and we ended up Jarrett, Hardy, Sting etc.
Thank the lord they never signed Danielson.

Lets just hope the Hulkster doesnt have "a senior moment" and forgets that he is not in TNA anymore.
"Well you know something Dixi... err... Stephanie dude, this next match is the Wyatt Family up against the Aces and 8s... No brutha, the Shield... I meant the Shield"... *Lingering shot of Hogans hound dog face*

Hey who are your favorite wrestlers, you guys? I want to insert someone else in their role and shit on their legacy too. Thanks
Personally, Razor Ramon and Diesel.

TNA died when it became Impact Wrestling.
At least TNA had Cody Deaner.
RIP.

I had the best worst idea watch a Raw Tuesday - Reigns/Taker at WM31, Reigns wins, only to be swarmed by Druids and carried off. He appears the next night on Raw as the new Undertaker, revealing it to be a spirit that chooses its host.
Taker entering the HOF would be the reason it decided to move on.
I swear I had this EXACT thought during Raw a couple of weeks back.

My takeaway from the Cena interview is that he is such a nice guy.
Just really nice.
Looking forward to JR's podcast.

So the original line up of the Shield was Bull Buchanan and the Bossman... right????
Well in my imagination they are. Same operation, different operatives.

If Jarrett's new promotion means a return to prime time TV for Cody Deaner then Im all in.

The 20 minute run where he was describing being backstage was brilliant, he sounded like a little kid getting to meet his heroes.
"Then I saw Bray Wyatt and he was scary and then I saw Rey Rey and then I saw..."
Had a huge grin listening to that earlier.

What if Punk had never got called up from OVW for being skinny fat? TNA run? Back to ROH?

Goddam, that might be the funniest thing Ive ever seen. A proverbial can of audio whoop-ass.

The Paadcast is always worth a listen.
Colt is easy to give a hard time to, but he's a hardworking dude. His interviews are usually very good as well. Really enjoyed the recent Ambrose one.

Didn't people want Mike Tenay to stop saying "we know who that is!!!" every time an ex-WWE guy debuted in TNA? I guess he couldn't say it because all black guys look alike and all white wrestling fans would have a hard time telling who that is.
Oh snap, its Shad Gaspard... Nope, nope, nope... Its erm Elijah Burke, the Pope is back... Hold on.. I can get this...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't MVP doing a gimmick right before his WWE face turn where he lost all his money or something to that effect?
Maybe he invested in TNA back in 2006, he still owns half the stock, its just financially worthless at this point.

Right around 04-05 there were TONS of awesome bloodbaths in the WWE.
Eddie v JBL - Didnt fancy cleaning that canvas afterwards!

Raw better have Michael Cole come out at some point and tell the crowd that CM Punk will be here again next week LIVE ON RAW.
Following week Cole introduces "CM Punk" and its just Corey Graves in Punks gear.
Worked for fake Diesel and Razor right?

I was thinking about the Royal Rumble during my run this morning, and I remembered a few other nice touches, interesting moments, and glaring facts:
- Cesaro being sexy. And uppercutty.
Maybe its my bad memory, but I swear Cesaro and Brodie Lee exchanged uppercuts for a good 10 minutes while other stuff was going on.

I hope tonights crowd does everything they can to Ape last nights apperence.
Just be total dicks to anything Batista and Orton do.
...or they could go 'super-meta' and pop for everything Orton and Batista do, you know ironically.
I'm actually looking forward to Raw tonight, it has the potential to either be great or a flat out train wreck.

I'm not really digging Colt's podcast anymore with the exception of the Bruno interview. He has an underlying bitterness about the WWE(and he has every right to feel that way) that turns me off.
I was going the same way and then gave the Ambrose one a listen, this morning.
Ambrose is the polar opposite of Cabana in his mindset towards wrestling. Ambrose really was born 20 years too late.

Happy Big Dave day.
Boy I hope he returns as 'latter day D-Bag' Dave.

Love Dragon, particularly when he is being an absolute DICK to his opponents. Dude had such a menacing vibe.
His CZW and PWG stuff with / against Steen and Generico was always standout to me.
Here he is combining all of the above against Generico.

They could do a big PDF like Chikara but that would be a waste of 4 mb that could be better used by Mookieghana crunching some data on how many matches Bret Hart won by roll up or something.
Heck, I'll get them started
TNA is ANT backwards
Chikara has an army of Ants.
Dixie Carter = Wink Vavasseur - Offspring of wealthy business people with no immediate knowledge of how a wrestling company works, placed in charge and made a string of ridiculous decisions!
Jarrett = Quackenbush - Founder of the company who went missing during the final days
AJ Styles = Solider Ant - Mainstay of the company who went off the radar and had vignettes trying to hunt them down.

Yeah the FBI was brilliant.
Anything with Mikey, Tajiri and the Sinister Minister was usually full of dark humour or slapstick as well.

"Your exactly right Tajiri, that Francince IS a feast for the eyes!"

The ending to Rhodes/Wyatts was simply beautiful and was straight out of Florida in the 70s or 80s.
Really enjoyed Ambrose on commentary as well.

The fuck is that? Can't be his son because Lil Van Vader is jacked to shit.
Grado. Haven't seen him but he seems to be the Euro Colt Cabana.
Pretty much spot on, except I cant understand a word Grado says. He needs to have a translator, he comes from the same town as Drew McIntyre which makes it even more baffling as I can understand Drew!

House of Fools was very surreal, I liked The Young Ones so gave it a shot.
Along similar lines I watched the first couple of episodes of another BBC comedy this week "Brian Pern's Story of Rock".
The main dude is clearly a take on Peter Gabriel. It was a really fun spoof-doc with a lot of music names including Roger Taylor, Rick Wakeman and comedians including Vic and Bob playing a folk duo and a lot of the Fast Show cast.
Phil Collins and the other guy being chased by the KGB while flying on concorde and his intro to "Stairway" at Live Aid is among the funniest things Ive seen all year.
