Yes. Keith Lee doing Keith Lee things should not be messed with any outside forces. I just about gave up on main roster when they first F'd his run (other than PPVs) and now I at least routinely give up on anyone from NXT(UK) who gets demoted to main shows. I wouldn't want to do that, but I better get used to it.

Also, in '88, they still had Midnight Rockers for a little bit, Nasty Boys still there, Bob Orton, Adrian Adonis and Tom Zenk for a spell, along with Curt Hennig and Larry Zbysko. That's not too shabby! Kevin Kelly vs Curt Hennig? Ok, we never got Nailz vs Mr Perfect, but this is intriguing and absolutely different match than that one would have been! LOL at there being a pretty badass looking "Samoan Joe" battling Jerry Lawler on this one episode! And now that MF'r is fighting Wahoo McDaniel! Are you kidding me? Now Midnight Rockers pinned Samoan Joe a lot! This is something else.

I remember seeing this the first time and thinking "Bret just took a backdrop on the concrete! Why is he not more hurt than that? I guess it must be because the match hasn't even started and he has all his energy left." The match ended up being fantastic and I started liking LaFitte way more afterwards.

That's right! They did team up! One would have to assume that Slick used all his mojo to convince Hercules to grit his teeth and do it, since they had such a big advantage in the finale. Of course, they still ended up losing. Of course, this had nothing to do with their plans, but the ending of the match would have been cooler if Dibiase was the last guy pinned, not Hercules, and Herc was the one taking the "fuck this" count out elimination instead of Rick Martel.
