  1. SHUT UP, Young Bucks! This is not about you! You are not wanted here!
  2. In 2015. ...exactly like The Vile One alluded to on the previous page, but I hadn't gotten that far yet.
  3. Alright, I did go do the trapbar workout and just HAD to try that v-hold press with 35 lbs. I was able to do some reps but kept falling backwards constantly. I was able to struggle back up and kept pressing while falling down and getting back up, but there was definitely nothing "casual" about the whole attempt and it probably looked pathetic, but I was alone, so it's fine. I'll keep at it. Trapbar itself was fine, with 10x140, 8x220, 5x286 and 5x363 for warm-up and 6,6,4 and 5x451 for the actual work sets. Plenty of shrugs and some ab work and that's it for this week. No complaints so far, seems like I didn't lose all that much during my time off. That should bode well for the rest of the year .
  4. What a bunch of cheaty cheating cheaters Pretty Deadly turned out to be against Moustache Mountain! That was pretty amazing!
  5. As far as Punk's themes go, I'm very partial to This Fire Burns myself. I even tried to get into Killswitch Engage because of it, but that didn't really take.
  6. Fuck NO! Let's see if I can GET to that position first. Then maybe, I can tell you if I can raise my arms while in that position. Pressing weights while in that position, you will probably have to wait for quite awhile for my reply on that one! Yay! I was able to do something with 11 lbs and then 26 lbs, but I couldn't get my legs that high in the air though!
  7. It should have been exceedingly easy to at the very least use him the way he was used in NXT. The over and somewhat credible babyface who wins against heels that have already been around for a while and loses against the new heels that are getting their initial push.
  8. Well, hell yeah! They are much easier to spot from your gym bag! You'll save time when putting them on!
  9. That sound you hear is @The Natural sighing from relief. It's back to being a two match card!
  10. So he ended up being the "Good Hand" Cody said he was? That one chair-shot was uncalled for, in that case!
  11. That's a wonderful title for a Lance Von Erich book! Genius!
  12. Versa Grips are awesome! So as long you use them only when necessary, they are a great help! I recommend them wholeheartedly!
  13. I'm wondering if it's the same damn prison every time? You'd think they would do something about the security at this point! Do they WANT people to escape, or what? The main warden is like : "You are not the kind of prisoner we want to keep around here! "
  14. As I said before in an NXT thread, you could not get me to wear a shirt with a message like that, out of the fear for my own safety.
  15. A couple of workouts in so far this week. Monday was fine, as I did the usual pull-up (chin-up)-dip-reverse shrug combo with 66 lb extra weight. Ok, so for the pull-ups that is too much, as only the first set goes ok, and the other two are shit. But for dips and reverse shrugs it is fine. Dropped the weight to 44lbs , 22lbs and then just bodyweight and did one round of sets with each. Resistance band work for chest and lats as well as lateral raises and push downs for the finish. Tuesday was a slightly heavier (but still reasonably light) leg day on the squat/ calf machine with more delt work, shrugs and curls in between the leg sets to get a more comprehensive workout in, since today I don't have the time to go. I hope I'll get the bench and trapbar in later in the week. If that happens, I'll edit the updates in, as usual. OK, so I at least got the bench in today. Pyramiding quickly upwards with 5x154, 5x231, 3x253, 1x270, then 3x281, 4,3 and 3x264, 5x253, 5x242, 6x231, 7,6 and 5x220 and finally 23x132. Only very light side delt stuff and light curls and warm-up with a light resistance band (which ended up snapping in half) between sets this time.
  16. More episodes of 1994 Superstars just added. These go beyond King of the Ring and to the very early build towards SummerSlam. Wow, Ted Dibiase must feel special to have TWO such classic angles going on simultaneously! Recruiting a broke-ass Nikolai Volkoff for lulz and bringing in the imposter Undertaker within a few episodes. I wonder if the Undertaker thought in the back of his mind that the imposter was actually Kane, before eventually seeing him in the ring and going "phew, it's just Brian Lee!"? Speaking of King of the Ring, the tournament would have been way different if Scott Steiner, Lex Luger and Quebecer Pierre would have qualified over IRS, Jeff Jarrett and Mabel. Earthquake's injury robbed us of Owen Hart vs Earthquake qualifying match, which would have been interesting. I had never seen Razor vs Diesel IC-title match, where Diesel became the champ. Nice foreshadowing the week or two before, when Razor was able to hit Razor's Edge on Adam Bomb (which was impressive) to show that he MAYBE could get Diesel up as well (didn't happen, though). Razor beating Kwang to qualify was funny as next year Savio Vega kinda took his spot (via late qualifying over IRS) in the King of the Ring tournament. High Energy explodes? There's a Koko vs Owen match in here!
  17. Maybe the jobber in question just tried to smarten Koko up by telling him "Look, if you take that WWF offer, you'll probably end up never winning a meaningful match during your entire tenure there!"
  18. Back when I first read about this match, it was called a "megadud" , apparently not because it was so bad, but because it was so hyped and yet lasted less than 2 minutes. So, there was at least one person who wanted to see MORE of that! As a side note, at the time I had not seen El Gigante (but understood he was super tall) and I had only seen Sid as super dominant. Therefore, I automatically assumed it was Sid squashing El Gigante so quickly. Then, a bit later on, I figured that "Oh, this was right before Sid showed up in WWF and for some weird reason, people who are leaving start suddenly losing matches, even if they didn't do so very often before...hmmm. Well, all a coincidence, I guess?"
  19. Well, there goes that would be WWE deal, then!
  20. Apparently not. They don't want organic mainstream attention. They'd want mainstream attention manufactured, visioned and controlled by Vince. He wants to predetermine mainstream's reactions, as well, and since he isn't capable of doing that, he doesn't want it. In fact, he probably wants to remake that movie with Orton, anyway!
  21. Ok, I'm gonna have to take your word for, as I don't really know what they are.
  22. Yeah, I even suspected he had just staged the pic on his own for lulz, but I guess he had this coming, whatever the case may be. Hey, I'm all about comedy, and I'm sure this was all good natured fun, but these birthday pranks and stuff have never been my thing. Not that I was being serious about being offended about the gifts, or anything.
