  1. I watched the pre-show early in the morning, went for a 45 minute run, watched the show until the midway of the mixed trios match, then left for gym/work. Starting out with MJF coming out to the ring was a nice way to put any doubts to rest early. So far, I enjoyed everything, at least to a degree. And there was a point to Anna vs Jade! To debut Stokey and Athena, respectively! I get it now! House of Black vs Death Triangle was the best thus far. Jesus, Julia, sure took you long enough to get corrupted! She must have been really innocent to begin with, huh?!? I'll continue tomorrow morning. This way, it won't matter if the show is damned 6 hours long!
  2. I'm sure none of us will mind that, but Jericho may end up throwing a shitty fireball at you because of that, though! So, you know, be careful! Ask Eddie, he knows.
  3. Yeah, I edited in something to the similar affect onto a reply on the AEW general thread before it got temporarily shut down. Not showing up is the smartest strategy MJF has left at this point!
  4. Yeah, THAT would be the biggest tragedy in this. I find MJF wonderful (piece of shit) at what he does. He would be an asset to any company. As big an ASSet as he thinks he is? Not quite sure about that. I'm definitely not ride or die with Wardlow, but I do understand he is very over right now and this is a culmination of a three year-long story. It would be a damned shame if it were ruined somehow! Nevertheless, I'm intrigued to see how this all will play out.
  5. Oh, that little rascal, Eddie!
  6. Not all year round, no. But yeah, this is a good place to live in atm, but our asshole neighbours to the East are trying to make sure there's no good places to live, anywhere. But yes, until recently, a good place. Will take some getting used to, but overall, not many better places that I can think of. That being said, Britain is certainly among my top two places to visit, along with Poland. Short enough visits and you don't even have to worry so much about the crazy ways either of the countries are run, or anything!
  7. And I can do the same from Finland, as well! I don't even need to move over, in order to do it! This is not an invitation, though. Finland is very acquired taste, shall we say!
  8. Since the Cody thing ended up NOT being a work, I won't be holding my breath. I hope something can be worked out. Does TK have Matt Cardona on speed dial, by any chance? However, from a storyline point of view, let me just say this: If I had twice the self-defense skills MJF has, had twice the back-up he's had recently (I guess TWO Shawn Spearses is slightly better than nothing, right? Slightly.), had his resources and had done 10% of the shit he's done to Wardlow, my strategy would be not showing the fuck up, and keep not showing up until I ran out of food and money and even my parents refused to hide me in their nice extra bedroom anymore! So in that sense, what MJF is doing, is the smartest thing he could be doing, under the circumstances.
  9. I fail to see the problem...
  10. Sydal vs Dragon was fantastic. The ending sequence where Bryan just said, ok I've had enough of this shit was brutal! Sydal has a wonderful showing, though. While certainly not 100% Wholesome, that still the most wholesome occasion in which you are likely to hear the phrase "Scissor me, Daddy Ass!" Oh, and Dante Martin was still able to avenge his previous loss to Caster! Young Bucks brought in Gangrel and I was able to briefly see Taylor Rust again. Of course, the had to be dicks about it, but at least Brandon got to pay the price for it! They sure are attempting to make the most out of this Hardys reunion, and why the hell not? So, the mixed trios match as well as Darby vs O'Reilly added to the PPV? Is this going to be 5 hours or are some of the matches going to be much shorter this time around? I won't mind, I'll probably watch the PPV in 5 segments over the course of a week, anyway! Last Buy In had three matches, but now there's only one and the rest are crammed into the PPV proper? Your prerogative, I guess? Ruby had to take advantage of the inside info Velvet gave her, after all! Very intense main event. Man, predicting the winner of Women's Owen will be tough! I want them both to lose. Ruby losing to Britt again on PPV makes about as much sense as Anna Jay losing again to Jade, but I'd assume that's what I'm looking at, here.
  11. Seems fair. Unless it's Omos & Lashley vs MVP!
  12. Damn, there was a moment there, where Spears realized everything he has done in the past how damn long, has come back to pay him back. I hope it was worth it, dickwad! MJF knows the same thing in the back of his mind, but it will really sink in come Sunday. I wonder if it plays out as an absolute annihilation or will MJF pull every possible Hail Mary out of his ass to muster up some credible offense? FTR v Roppongi was getting hot before the interference, but seeing Jeff Cobb and some dude almost made it worth it! Is this Forbidden Door promotion? Mox and Kingston kicking ass like old times, I don't really see how Jobber Appreciation Society will come out on top on Sunday, unless there's a new surprise member or something? Britt beating Storm took out the intriguing possibilities of the Women's Owen finals, but as we have seen on other PPV's, either one of the possible matches should be good. I know now that I wanted Storm vs Statlander in the finals. I'm crying on the inside. The three way was super. I kinda figured this was the outcome, but I could have seen Jungle Boy being the one getting pinned amidst the confusion. Well, by the way things are going, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus may find a way to retain and that is fine by me, until they are across the ring with PAC and Buddy Matthews. THEN it's ok for them to drop the straps. Hardy's being middle-aged and extreme hit all the right notes with me! I identify with that SOOO much! I'm middle-aged, TOO! I've noticed those marks on O'Reilly at other times, too! Cupping, you say? They do that over here, too! This reminds me not to try it, ever! The match was brutal and exciting, O'Reilly emoting before passing out was good, too. I have no idea what I figured the finals of Men's Owen would end up being, but I'm guessing Adam Cole vs Samoa Joe would not have been it. I'm sure the match will be good, though. Page vs Punk build hasn't been too exciting, but the match should be something else. I'll be rooting for Adam Page until he's across the ring with Jungle Boy, PAC or Buddy Matthews! THEN it'll be ok for him to drop the strap. Of course, Punk winning and dropping it to MJF would of course be a beautiful redemption story of "in life, assholes always wind up on top", but I think we have other companies for that sort of thing?
  13. Yup, one more 1 hour walk/run and pretty heavy squat-machine workout yesterday and now I feel exhausted, even after sleeping. Now it will be about recovery and refill, as I've obviously spent whatever I had to give these past 10 or so days. I guess I should start preparing for a new profile pic soon?
  14. The week has continued non stop and I'm three runs and two workouts in as we speak. Leaving for the gym once I finish my coffee and this post. Monday I had to consolidate due to time constraints and did sort of a triathlon. A 30 minute run forgoing the stairs altogether, picked up my backbag and jumped on the bike to ride straight to the gym. Did the first two rounds of pull-up, dip, reverse shrug with 88lbs again, the first round went well and the second, not so much. Then one round with 66, 44, 22 and bodyweight. Bunch of resistance band and ab work afterwards. The shredded look has come back in just a few days. This is good. Yesterday was trapbar. The meaningful stuff was 3x471, 2x515, 2x548 and 7x438. I failed the third rep on 548 and failed to get it off the ground at all on the next attempt, but I'm at 175 lbs right now, so that was still pretty brutal lift for such a low bodyweight. Only a small amount of shrugs and abs, as I rushed through before the shift started. Today should be bench. I slept really well today, but the run lasted more than an hour, so that must have taken something out of me already. Looking forward to the re-feeding on the weekend, as the weight has come down much faster than anticipated. I'll edit rest of the stuff in later, if there is anything worthwhile to mention. ...Ok, bench wasn't anything special. Only went up to 264 with 3 sets of 3. Rep-wise, Only 10x220 was anything decent, but the pump was impressive, especially since I did curls, side delts and lat pull-downs between sets. I don't know if I will do a workout tomorrow (well this evening, since it's soon 4:20 over here), but if I do, then it's probably squat machine-time.
  15. I think it was Flair, actually, on the night of the handing over the title, but RVD was the first actual challenger he fought!
  16. Until I have purchased AEW's PPV back catalogue on FITE, I prefer 4 PPV's a year at the moment.
  17. Man, what a sweet episode once again! I get to see Matthews in action, Big Damo comes in, Statlander advances, Toni Storm makes serious threats to Britt's dentures, Bowen's injury explained, FTR vs Roppongi Vice coming up, big brawl with BCC and JAS to end it! Good times. Was Sting written off for a bit? It sure seemed like it last week. Hey, it's good thing that Lambert put the extra TNT-title into a trophy case, so Scorpio can just tell him to fetch that, right? Where is this going, other than a tag match at the very least? Anna Jay getting to challenge Jade again was a bit out of the left field there, but considering how the last match went, maybe she deserves another crack at it? I mean, c'mon! We're getting FTR vs Roppongi Vice now? Considering how hot Bucks vs FTR and Bucks vs Roppongi was, this should F'n rule, too! I mean sure, it's not something you only get to see once in a lifetime if you're lucky, like Brock vs Roman (well, more, if you're not so lucky), but that is still like such a nice gift to the fans! There's just no way you can't at least say that you get some FRESH matches every week! ...Oh, and Hookhausen and Nesterling (?!?) getting ready for their match was pretty grueling, too! I said it's gonna end badly for someone! We'll see which one?
  18. Not that he did it better, but Jobbo B. Ware also had the blond hair (and blue/multi-colored sideburns) from lateish '89 to '91(?) in WWF.
  19. Wow, it's certainly been a week. Three workouts, three jogs/runs and seven workdays (two of which were nights) so far. All workouts were intended to be mostly heavy stuff, but I gave the trapbar a miss this week and opted for squat machine instead, going as far as doing a few sad partial reps with something like 400lbs (using the chains as an extra weight) but doing better stuff with 345 and 320. Early in the week I did 2 rounds of pull-up, dip reverse shrugs with 88lbs of extra weight (but being like 11lbs lighter myself now, that's only 77lbs of actual EXTRA weight) but changed that into the more usual 66lbs after that. Everything else was the usual stuff. Bench was nothing special at all. Seems like anything from 275 and up is not really happening for the time being, but I try to keep it around there for as long as I can. The week has been a disaster workwise, and working the weekend left me with very little progress to show for it, but these were mostly things beyond my control, so I'm just happy with the extra pay. That also means some 25 or so miles of extra biking I did to get there and back, this week. Yesterday morning, after only few hours of sleep, I did start to see the results of the pretty extreme version of the diet this year, so that was fun. In the early hours of this morning I went to the town on the complimentary pizza my employer kindly provided for the weekend workers, so that should take care of that shredded look, but it should also jump-start my metabolism, which I could already feel slowing down only after two weeks into the diet. I should go for a walk now or a bit later, but coffee and Rampage sounds better. The sleep I got after getting home this morning was decent, though! Finally! Tonight, the new work week starts and I'm already spent! This should be fun!
  20. A few bumps on the road, but still, hell of a show, packed with crazy matches. Guy is awesome, but it's rather unfortunate that his name is anagram for "take a shit"! Still, the match was spectacular! Johnny was a good joker, he'll stay over enough, even losing his debut. First time seeing Ito, but I think I've seen the falling head-first onto her opponent as a GIF somewhere before. KOR's chest and shoulders looked like the skin of my back after the squat machine workout today! Both guys looked great. A lot of angles advanced this week. I wonder if Jericho will ever brush his teeth at an arena again? He will probably only use tootbrushes straight out of the box and discard them from now on! Not very eco-friendly, but I wouldn't really blame him! The good guys really got trounched at the end there!
  21. Phew, I've been working an extra hour or two every day this week. I've had one good jog and two workouts this week so far, so now it's time for the first warm meal of the day and busting out All Out 2021 for a bit! Kingston v Miro starting things! I'll go for a walk before bedtime, if I feel like it. Now some relaxation.
  22. Gunn Club and The Acclaimed were trying their best to be overjoyed about an Elevation match. Seems like they are NOT going to be just a DX-ripoff, huh? Nese vs Hook and their partners will end badly, for someone! That was the strongest I've seen Spears look, in more ways than one! Riho vs Ruby could have gone either way. I had no idea who was going to advance! Statlander was a good replacement. I'd think she'd beat Velvet, unless there will be interference by the other baddies! Main event was very solid. That slingshot into a cutter (landing head, not face, first). Also, we found out that Scorpio is a dick, afterall! Well, Sammy's a bigger one, so I don't know who will get cheered, if they will meet again for the title? Death Triangle looked very good, as did their opponents, but c'mon, House of Black needs to wrestle more often! Yeah, good show!
  23. Oops, I guess I should have written my reply outside of the quote box! Oh, well...
  24. Almost ironic that Mox was one save late for Eddie, as he was already burned the previous time, and when Eddie came to save Mox, it was the explosion that was late!
