  1. Based on last night the theory of Keith losing his belt to Gargano then challenging Kross after Kross beats Cole doesn’t work. Unless Gargano wins the 3-Way then loses to Cole (thus giving Cole both belts). I could see a world in which Keith wins next week, beats Cole, then gets cheated out of the North American title before the next Takeover where he’d then defend the NXT title vs Kross.
  2. I think whatever they go with for a Main Event on 7/8 is better than the Fyter Fest main event. I’d much rather see two of the three options vs Cole than Moxley vs Boring Cage
  3. Booker T should be included after Steiner right? Since he was a multi time WCW champion, and someone the crowd always cared about.
  4. As bad as Goff is the other LA team should have him on their list too.
  5. Based on the video posted yesterday Mojo is the only other one I can think of. I’d have said Miz, but considering he’s already got production screwed up, and taken off of TV due to showing up sick I can’t see it being him.
  6. Punk was the main one I was getting at too. Never mind the fact that Conrad correctly pointed out that Paul E had a hard on for the guy way before Bruce did. Hell anyone in the front office that had seen even a single ROH show should have been able to see mega $$$ while watching Punk, Bryan, Joe, Cesaro (before the WWE f’d him up), and AJ. Actually AJ is another one I’ve noticed Bruce tries to take credit for then he talks weird about his time with AJ in TNA. It’s like okay he was obviously on WWE’s radar once back in the day (when they wanted him for developmental), then I’m sure when he left New Japan that was more of a Triple H pushed hard to bring him in move as opposed to anything Prichard did.
  7. I get the feeling a lot of it is a Bruce trying to make himself/Vince sound like they had this revolutionary idea nobody ever thought of before, and not realizing that people have heard Ric Flair tell that story before. So much of Bruce’s nonsense comes across that way. Like he’s always the one to have discovered a talent, or seen potential in them before anyone else did. Which if that were truly the case his booking would be much better than it is, and he wouldn’t have floated around companies as much as he has (including going to TNA).
  8. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2896484-report-kyrie-irving-suggested-nba-players-start-own-league-on-restart-call?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial How the hell would this “brilliant” idea even work? They’d all get sued for breach of contract by their current teams for starters, and then who would pay their salaries?
  9. Good point. Oakland, Tampa, maybe San Diego would make sense using that theory. Actually I’m not sure the AL East wouldn’t lost two of its five teams with that since Toronto could feasibly be one of those teams too.
  10. So basically we can guarantee UFC will run a card the night before to piggyback off of this. But in all seriousness that seems like a good choice to host the Pro Bowl. I kind of thought it would be either there or LA since they’re both huge markets with new stadiums.
  11. I’m sure Boston is one for the same reason. Oh we can’t keep Mookie Betts, because it’s not economically feasible despite us selling out 81 home games a year, and charging outrageous prices for everything fans buy at/around our stadium. I love the team, but I’m tired of them claiming they can’t afford players.
  12. To answer the first one I think Condit vs Woodley without the injury to Condit would’ve been an interesting fight, and could have made the Welterweight division better in the long run (assuming Condit wins). That was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen, and I agree with you on the score. I think had Frankie won he would’ve had a possible FOTY with Showtime Pettis. This is the one I’m least sure of. Does he beat Hendricks if they do an immediate rematch? If they go with him vs Robbie Lawler then he definitely keeps the belt as he’d take Robbie down, and smother him. But that would lead into the Hendricks rematch, and I’m still not sure he wins that fight.
  13. They can’t possibly be the big market teams can they (Both NY teams, Boston, LA Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia, and two others probably Houston as one)? ? It does seem oddly appropriate that after what happened in 1994 that the last World Series champions (for the moment) would be the former Montreal Expos.
  14. While I agree with what you said I’ve got to admit I read it quick at first, and thought it was about McMahon punting Orton. Which made me laugh. Somehow I can definitely see Shane returning, and delivering the crappiest punt ever to Orton.
  15. Or you could stop trying to suck Little Jimmy Harden off. Face it your posts are pathetic, and you never offer any conclusive evidence for why he’s better than anyone else. His playoff record sucks, he’s only made one finals, and he’s only won One MVP award. But hey keep having your little I’m a fan of crap sports teams, and guys with ugly beards pity party, and leave the discussion to people that actually know what they’re talking about.
  16. Okay your Kawhi stats are highly suspect, and laughable for the playoffs you chose to bring up. Unlike the NHL the NBA Finals MVP is based solely on the Finals and not the entirety of the playoffs. So let’s post Kawhi’s stats as well as the others you referenced for that series only: Tony Parker: 35.2 MPG, 18.0 PPG, 0.4 RPG (seriously not even half a rebound?), 4.6 AST, 0.8 Steals Tim Duncan: 33 MPG, 15.4 PPG, 10 RPG, 2.0 AST, 0.4 Steals Manu Ginobili: 28.6 MPG, 14.4 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 4.4 AST, 1.0 Steals Kawhi Leonard: 33.4 MPG, 17.8 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 2.0 AST, 1.6 Steals So let’s see. He averaged the second most points, Third most Assists (tie with Duncan), Second most rebounds, and the most steals while guarding Lebron. Yeah go figure why he’d win MVP for that. Nice list of role players too. Which one of them not named Danny Green has contributed anything to a successful playoff team that didn’t have Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and Leonard on it? Patty Mills sure as hell hasn’t. Now let’s see how many great players, and all stars James “I’ve never played with an All-Star until this year according to Lawful” Harden has played with: 09-10 Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant (All Star) , Serge Ibaka, Jeff Green (using your own criteria from earlier about the Spurs), Nick Collison 10-11 Russell Westbrook (All Star), Kevin Durant (All Star), Serge Ibaka, Jeff Green, Nick Collison, Kendrick Perkins 11-12 Russell Westbrook (All Star), Kevin Durant (All Star), Serge Ibaka, Reggie Jackson, Nick Collison, Kendrick Perkins 12-13 Patrick Beverly, Chandler Parsons, Jeremy Lin, Marcus Morris 13-14 Patrick Beverly, Chandler Parsons, Dwight Howard (All Star), Jeremy Lin, Aaron Brooks 14-15 Trevor Ariza, Patrick Beverly, Dwight Howard, Josh Smith, Jason Terry, Clint Capela 15-16 Trevor Ariza, Patrick Beverly, Dwight Howard, Ty Lawson, Corey Brewer, Clint Capela, Jason Terry 16-17 Trevor Ariza, Eric Gordon, Patrick Beverly, Ryan Anderson, Lou Williams, Clint Capela, Nene 17-18 Trevor Ariza, Chris Paul, Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker, Clint Capela, Ryan Anderson 18-19 PJ Tucker, Clint Capela, Eric Gordon, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Gerald Green So yes he’s played with All Stars (KD, Russ, and Dwight Howard) as well as other really good players (Ibaka, Beverly, Lou Williams, CP3). It’s not like he’s out there playing with some of the scrubs my team was trotting out next to Dirk for years.
  17. Singles or with Mr. Ass and the rest of DX? Rebellion 99 vs Chris Jericho Wrestlemania 14 w/Billy Gunn vs Chainsaw Charlie/Cactus Jack 8 Man Tag No Way Out of Texas The Roadie vs 1-2-3 Kid In Your House 2 Umm yeah I’m stuck at four.
  18. Did he specifically say all cops? That’s my general issue with a statement like yours. I too know many cops, and consider them friends, but even they admit not every cop is good. I’m not trying to condone what he said either though, and I do get why the cops that are good and honest wouldn’t like his bumper sticker. As for my assuming you still worked for a promotion I did see it mentioned that you’re associated with $5 wrestling, so that’s my mistake. Sorry. Your list of who you’ve drove to see is definitely a common one in the northeast, and I hope that you didn’t take offense to my asking. The only name on your list I’m not really sold on is Wardlow, but that’s just my opinion.
  19. I get they do that with other forms of entertainment, but when something is being graded (even subjectively) it should be held to the same standards as everything else in its past has been. Would you be cool with WWE going back, and editing let’s say Jinder Mahal vs Randy Orton, and making it a much better match? That’s what I was getting at with my comment. And I agree it’s hard to pull things off, but maybe if Orton and Edge can’t pull off a good match without edits, and reshoots they should either cut the amount of time they got, or figure out a different match for each of them. I don’t recall seeing the NXT performers struggle at Takeover last Sunday, and outside of Dream-Cole that was entirely live.
  20. Okay without diving into most of what you said as to not start a fight that the mods will get pissed at both of us over I do have a question. How does someone that spends the majority of his posts talking up Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard, or The Mavs in general come across as a Giannis fan? The on topic statement you made that I most agree with is (most) Yankee fans are the worst. Yes they’ve got 27 World Titles, but only 5 in the last 30 years (a time period where the Red Sox have 4 themselves). So they’ve wasted multiple years of payroll just like my team has.
  21. I’d love to see this amazing list of talents you’d drive 3 hours to see. Especially when you seem to post hate towards workers that have success for any promotion but the one you’re associated with (in particular Britt Baker).
  22. That’s the thing I don’t get with so many people raving about it or claiming it’s deserving of 5 stars. In what universe is a match that’s been a) heavily edited, and b) had at least one day of reshoots worthy of being considered a “perfect” match? The editing alone should keep it from that as for all we know they filmed three hours of footage, and edited it down (I’m not suggesting it was that long, but there’s no proof it wasn’t at the very least fifteen minutes or more longer than what we witnessed).
  23. I love as a Red Sox fan how quick people are to point their fingers at them for cheating. Yes they did cheat, and it was beyond stupid to do it. But the thing that annoys me about it is it shouldn’t detract from the World Series wins they have prior to 2018. They didn’t start cheating until they got that little midget that I never cared for from Houston. But hey Alex Cora isn’t as bad as the Yankees right? ? Even as someone that’s hated the Yankees since he was little I’ll admit they’ve done much less to harm the game and it’s integrity than the Astros or Cora have done. And I’m sure I can guess who’s having the meltdown since it’s his beloved team being called in to question. Maybe he should just give it a rest, and realize when it comes to sports teams Houston is downright crap. The Texans are a laughing stock outside of Deshaun Watson and JJ Watt, The Astros are cheating pieces of crap, and there’s no more overrated NBA team than The Rockets. What do they ever do in the playoffs?
  24. Looking at the career playoff stats for the four players that are generally regarded as being the best current players in the league paints an interesting picture. The stats obviously don’t include this season as the playoffs haven’t happened yet. Kawhi Leonard: 7 playoff Appearances in 8 seasons, 3 NBA Finals Appearances, 2 NBA Finals Wins, 2 NBA Finals MVP awards, 19.5 ppg playoffs, 7.7 rpg playoffs, 2.4 apg playoffs Lebron James: 13 playoff Appearances in 16 seasons, 6 NBA Finals Appearances, 3 NBA Finals Wins, 3 NBA Finals MVP awards, 28.9 ppg playoffs, 8.9 rpg playoffs, 7.1 apg playoffs James Harden: 10 playoff Appearances in 10 seasons, 1 NBA Finals Appearance, 0 NBA titles, 0 NBA Finals MVP awards, 22.9 ppg playoffs, 5.4 rpg playoffs, 5.6 apg playoffs Giannis Antetokounmpo: 4 Playoff Appearances in 6 seasons, 0 NBA Finals Appearances, 0 NBA Titles, 0 NBA Finals MVP Awards, 23 ppg playoffs, 10.3 rpg playoffs, 4.6 apg playoffs How anyone can look at those numbers, and try declaring any of the other 3 are better playoff players than Kawhi is beyond me. The only season he missed the playoffs was the one where he was hurt for 95% of it. But hey let’s overvalue the guy from Houston having made the Finals in his third season while being carried by Russ and KD. Or Lebron for making the Finals, and having to be bailed out by Ray Allen in order to beat Kawhi and The Spurs, and for having to oversell a nut shot from Draymond to screw the Warriors out of a championship.
  25. Masvidal (if Dana is to be believed) just signed an 8 fight contract before fighting Nate. So if he thought he was worth millions per fight then why didn’t he demand it then? Since he was coming off that amazing KO of Askren and his win over Darren Till. That’s why I don’t feel bad for him. He’s being a whiny brat, and wanting pity from fans that make way less per year than he makes in one fight. But yeah he’s a “real athlete.” To simplify it if he was a real athlete he’d honor the deal he signed, and not try to win over the general public. Look at the NFL for example. Owners there are netting more money per year than any other sport, and their reigning league MVP is making a paltry 1.34 million this coming season. But that’s what Lamar Jackson signed for as a late first round pick. Whats the difference between him and Jorge? Oh wait I know. Lamar is acting like a grownup, taking his small salary, and knowing he’ll get paid when his deal is up. But hey he’s worthy of making way more than 1.34 million so using your logic he should bitch and moan about the deal he’d agreed to, and expect the Ravens to cave, and pay him.
