Cole reallly needs to drop the belt too. I'm like Baszler quite a bit and don't mind Cole, but both are stale. IMO, the show would be quite a bit better without the UE and the Horsewomen squashing everyone at the top of the card. I don't have much faith they'll know what to do with Baszler on the main roster beyond her first feud or two, but it seems like she's been ready for a call-up for quite a while now. I dunno what you do with Cole and the UE from this point on.

It's amazing (in a bad way) what Vince has done with Roman since his return.

Wasn] Not me. I have to stop and think which one "A New Hope" is whenever I hear that phrase. I was well into adulthood before I heard "A New Hope" for the first time. When did it pick that subtitle up? When the prequel trilogy was released? Seems like it was called just "Star Wars" until at least the early 2000's.

Any update on Dakota Kai? WWE social media said she needed staples afterwards, would have more info today. That spot at the end was kinda dumb. Hopefully she's not hurt any more seriously. Really digging her heel turn so far.

I liked Greedfall quite a bit. I kinda agree with the complaints that it needed more polish. The day one build was kinda buggy, and at times, the enemies seem rather repetitive. The games needs a larger variety of creature types. But the world-building was fascinating. The setting is a fantasy world, but it's a fantasy world closely modeled on Europe during the Age of Discovery (15th-17th century). I found the colonialism and diplomatic missions to really interesting. I also really liked that the game doesn't do much hand-holding. The plot of the game is sorta loosely based on Christopher Columbus "discovering" the NeW World and taking it away from the indigenous people. There are times in the game when diplomacy is probably a better option than fighting. There are times when you find yourself having to make moral decisions that affect large groups of people. The game doesn't have a morality system, so it doesn't really nudge you one way or the other when these issues crop up. Also, like I said before, you actually have to put some work into keeping NPC's around. You can't depend on the game to keep them around just for plot convenience. If you're a sh**head to them, they'll leave you and not come back. The reviewers who say it feels like a BioWare game from a decade or so ago have it right, imo. I feel like it's Spider's best game by a wide margin.

You kinda come off as having some sort of personal grievance with her. Ick. I'm not a fan, but she's an average hand in a thin division. Aside from Shida, there's no one in the division I particularly want to watch.

Both series are starting the legacy numbering with issues 750 (issue #750 of WW released in January, #750 of Flash hitting shelves in February).

GreedFall. You have to put a bit of effort into building relationships with your NPC's. If you don't, if you treat them like sh**, they will abandon you.

Zero is the number I wanted. I like Bates and Avalon, but the gimmick..... I am amused they gave the gimmick to two people who look not at all like any librarian I've ever met. Admittedly, I'm too old and middle class to hang out in many emo libraries populated by blue-haired women. Speaking of Emi and the women's division, someone needs to explain Riho's appeal to me. I don't actively dislike wrestlers very often, but Riho might be my least favorite wrestler (with regular tv time) since Santino. She doesn't strike me as anything exceptional in-ring and nothing about the gimmick or her skills works for me. I've enjoyed enough joshi over the years to be fine with the idea of tiny Japanese women as bad asses, but Riho just doesn't seem credible to me as any sort of physical threat.

Do they not get along or something? (I follow comics enough to know they co-created TMNT together, but not enough to know what the backstory is.)

Does anyone else think Owen's babyface Austin tribute act is unbearable? I think he was probably the best heel in the company for a long stretch, but he's become one of my least favorite wrestlers since turning face.

Rivera must have had you in mind at his press conference this morning. He wanted to make sure we all know Carolina won back-to-back-to-back division titles. Said that a couple times. Even rhetorically asked what's more important? Winning titles or a winning record. Keep digging that hole, Cap'n Ron. It's fitting that the rationale for firing him seems to have been "Eh. Why not?". That seems to be the justification for keeping him around nine years, after all. A couple good years does not a great coach make, particularly when you couldn't follow up those years with a .500 record. I'm kinda interested in how this affects Wii Grier (WVU's my alma mater). Grier had a terrible camp and ended up third string behind Cam and Allen (and might have been cut had they not invested a fairly high pick in him and he's a local). Seems obvious Rivera wasn't going to throw him in there even when Allen struggled and the game was out of reach. There's some talk the Panthers think he was a wasted pick. So..... a new coach gives Grier the chance to climb out of a hole? Or hastens his departure since the new coach didn't have a hand in drafting him and isn't attached to the guy.

I had no idea Dio Maddin was a wrestler. Not making that up. I literally had no clue what the guy's background was.

Of course, last night was the first time I've watched SDL since it moved to Fox, and I'm probably not going to tune in again for quite awhile, so my opinion matters a lot less than the people buying Bray's merch.

They're not. Which is why you shouldn't book your babyface to physically intimidate his wife in public, fight cops, and knock over a piece of the set on the wife's lover to possibly kill him (I think we were supposed to assume Lashley was already hurt or dazed). Sure, Lana is screwing with him (figuratively) with the restraining order, but there are a thousand better ways to write this storyline. WWE tends to write babyfaces as (occasionally) terrible people who do awful things but we're supposed to cheer them because the other guy is a heel. I'm not cheering Lana and Lashley (I'm mostly hitting the FF button on the DVR and forgetting the angle is going on), but I'd like it if the babyface acted more a little less than some angry, outta control dude whose wife left him. The brawl was fine except for dumping the stage on Lashley. Just give us a reason to cheer Rusev for something other than attempted manslaughter. Then again, last night's segment was the worst thing about this storyline, so..... Did they admit that Lana isn't pregnant? I balled on that segment a few weeks back when she said something about carrying a 15 lb. (!) baby despite not looking even slightly pregnant and being something like 9 weeks along.
