I loved Tony cutting Bobby off and telling him to straight shut up. I know I know they didn’t get along in real life and some of those shut ups were “real.” I also know that that stuff held them back as a team in the long run but at the time I loved it because it was a breath of fresh air. I’d grew up with heel announcers absolutely owning everybody on commentary, even when the perfect comeback was obvious. Of course the face announcer never pulled the trigger on it because that was part of the work but I’d had enough of that lol! It was fun finally seeing the heel announcer get dealt with.

It’s one of the greatest little tiny things in wrestling when done right, but it was so bad and such an embarrassment sometimes lol!

Here’s another one lol when the wrestler demonstrates how the other wrestler pulled his tights, and does it so that it looks more like he’s demonstrating an exercise. Pivots his foot, turns his hip, grabs his own tights, then fake reacts to his tights having been grabbed lol!

Just like somebody said every Lawler match, there is also every WCW match from the same time. Lawler and the WWF got away with it because people bought into either whatever else they were hyping or the fact that Lawler was saying something funny as opposed to postprime Bobby Heenan. Meanwhile it was so bad in WCW that people just accepted the fact that it came with the territory. So add all that together and you have enough ifs and buts so that it all still worked out.
But the Hardcore Lucha match was worse the usual for sure. That match has lived on through the internet for that reason. It still comes up on every forum, Podcast etc.

The announcers used to mention that they were surprisingly good together, had chemistry, etc. Idk if they do that anymore.
I hated the overuse of street sign language. Not Diamond Cutter, DX type fun stuff that was done interactively for fun. I’m talking about how a fuming mad wrestler would yell to the ref while doing hand, arm and foot signals explaining how somebody ran into the ring, hit him with a chair and stole his valet. He would jog in place, do a chair swing with his arms and snatch the valet away out of thin air lol! All while yelling at the ref lol!

These games aren’t hype machines, but there will be good games and the heat will be off the chain for the ones you’re invested in. The struggling teams want to win the winnable game, the middle teams want to take the next step, etc.
I don’t have anything to say about Brady’s drama, let alone anything to judge him about concerning that drama. There’s plenty of that to do over the wussiest unnecessary roughness call I’ve ever seen. I hope he takes a shit the rest of the season.
Why is Tomlin stuck on Pickett? He sucked besides that first drive and Trubisky is a big reason they won that game. Claypool’s numbers are being overanalyzed. TEs numbers go up and down depending on the quarterback. Vernon Davis was an example and he was always good.

Cooper was hit on all of those ducks. He played very well. However I do think Dak is still their better choice and should be the starter. I haven’t seen all the Cowboys games but the reason he didn’t try a pass over 20 YDs has to be because he doesn’t have the arm. They had nothing to lose at the end and he didn’t even.

So would Brady be 1-5 right now if not for the 2 games where somebody touched him or am I imagining things.
My take on the Chiefs ever since their SB winning season is that they aren’t always ready to play football. They have so much talent even if they lost a couple guys. Mahomes wings it half the time and it usually works but when it doesn’t...you know. If he plays football for years and years I could see him looking like Favre. Once his legs and his swivel neck wears out there will be atleast a turnover every game, a few games with 2, and a game with 7 lol!

I actually can’t believe they didn’t call PI on the 2 point conversion. They’ve called that hand on the WRs hip before, however ticky tack it might be. I would figure that it was a makeup call for the holding on the touchdown but I don’t buy that they do make up calls. I think the refs are just that stupid sometimes.

Has a defensive line ever won a game by themselves before? They’ve batted the last 87,544 passes that weren’t completions, and one that was a completion. And the few completions the Steelers have had since the first drive have been called back because of holds. And just like 1 batted pass was a completion, one holding penalty wasn’t enough to keep the guy being held from hitting the quarterback and injuring him.

Adams has made more headlines than Randy Moss and Terrell Owens, and there’s only 1 difference in the headlines. Adams’ doesn’t involve catching bombs for touchdowns in the meantime. He’s the most irrelevant diva of them all.
I say that about the guy so that my taking up for him somewhat doesn’t sound to homerlike. Everybody is casting stones at him like they’ve never shoved anybody. If you haven’t that’s great but it’s also great that you’re not judging somebody who has. I’ve shoved people and I’ve been shoved and we all survived. He doesn’t deserve what’s surely to come of it IMO.

This is the first I’ve heard about Rhule. I knew he stunk but I did not see this coming so fast. But Bill O’Brien is worse. He’s one of the biggest frauds this sport has ever seen and he has a chin that looks like the spot on my sock in between my big toe and my second toe after I got my sock wet that morning then didn’t come out of it until that night.

That roughing the passer call was...NOT EVEN THE WORST CALL IN THAT SEQUENCE!!!!!!!!
On the 3rd down before it, they called defensive holding after the whistle on a guy who was on the ground upfield from the WR who was standing flat footed.
And pussyass Brady tried to trip him when he got up. He’s not the GOAT because of shit like that IMO.-

Quarterbacks have looked worse than Russ at low points in their postprime before coming back better, but he looks as washed as the coach looks silly. Bad quarterback AND bad coach? He might be done and Denver might be about to spend years in football hell. They’re going to be a losing team with a payroll they can’t fix.

Yeah that...so many fans are taking the worst possible thing from that picture and making it about Brady, who of course they have to defend, and before the conversation is over you get people arguing over his and AB’s wanger size.

I have my own opinion about it that I think makes sense, but it’s not a popular one. The nice version is that I think they were both guilty of a few things, and both victims of the disaster that was WCW. Add all that together and those 2 guys had just seen enough of each other.
