    Though they have finally figured it out the past couple of years after so long. Which is crazy to think even during the Kobashi years that they never had a real idea what the plan was exactly, and not just the “Let’s do as much as we can with Kobashi until he can’t walk anymore featuring the Juniors”.

    Oh my God... You’d be surprised how many people grew up on wrestling, and internet wrestling specifically, that know how to speak carny. Like some people I’ve worked with let out a “Sell”, or “worked” casually in front of me like I wouldn’t notice.

    I think it looks cool. Never liked the previous belt, especially when compared to the more detailed Pride belts, and the more colorful UFC belts at around the dawn of the company.

    Those same executives, if they still work there, need to get off there fucking high horses about wrestling. Those two fucking networks were built off the backs of professional wrestling, not Nascar, not The New Adventures of Robin Hood, and not The fucking Lazarus Man. It was built off the backs of Flair, Dusty, Sullivan, Boogie Woogie, Bugsy McGraw, Bobby Walker, Johnny Attitude, and re-runs of Brisco County Jr.

    That match, and the tag match where Sugiura kills him are ones that stick out in my mind. But he was also pretty damn impressive in a lot of other undercard tags. It also helped that he was a very handsome, and very tall.

    Ehhhh... I wouldn't necessarily say that. Of all the young guys during that period, he was the one all the Puro marks were hyping up. Like I thought the Go Shiozaki match before he left was very entertaining. Which is something you can't say about a lot of Go matches.
