  1. “Hey, this backwards ass country wants to pay for my next home. Who cares if we look like shit? These fuckers won’t know the difference.” If this shitty royal family wanted Vince to re-book the entire WrestleMania 4 card but with Hogan winning instead, he’d fucking do it for that money. Also, is this guaranteed money? Like if they say “Sorry we won’t book that”, will that be considered a breach of contract?
  2. “Every week I come out here, and try to BURNNNNN It DOWNNNNNN! But since starting this campaign l haven’t accomplished my #1 goal to “burn it down”.” *Crowd awwwwwwwws” “Until now!”*Crowd cheers, and chants “Becky”* Now I finally have the element that I’ve needed my entire life. That element is SRAIGHT FIRE!” *Cue Becky’s music*
  3. Why not? She’s “Straight Fire”, and Seth wants to “Burn It Down”. The perfect combo(Guaranteed you’ll hear this on commentary).
  4. 50-Man Battle Royals? This has to be conducted under Royal Rumble rules.
  5. I had this feeling(even with the 20+ years of popularity) that it was going to struggle to find an audience with adults. The trailers, the plot, and what it’s based on didn’t appeal to me whatsoever as a fan of the show when it was on. They massively made a mistake when they announced this a couple of years ago. The funny thing is they had a chance to backtrack after the success of Pokémon Go, but some fucking suit really wanted this “Detective Pikachu” shit to be a thing real bad. I hope that guy has no say in the next movie they might never make now because of his dumbass.
  6. It’ll be New Blood Rising Part II, but you won’t need to script it.
  7. That is very steep. I’ll give it a chance, but they need a way to compete with Vince’s 10.99 a month specials, plus a library of wrestling footage from across a century. $60 PPV’s won’t work in this day, and age. Trying to get a deal with a major streaming service to air their specials should be the next goal.
  8. I say as long as Bauer keeps Aries away from Ki, and Hart, he should be fine for the time being. I wonder if Court creates all those stupid weight divisions for belts just for this sort of issue.
  9. They should’ve pulled a WWE, and swerved the audience just to swerve expectations. Maybe make it Hawkeye to piss people off.
  10. Before this spike in competition, if you weren’t being signed by the WWE then there might have been a reason for that. Whether it was your size, in ring style, lack of personality, or zero fanbase. If you did eventually develop some of that, and gained an indie fanbase, then it’s the wrestlers choice at that point to cash out to a big company, which at the end of the day is the ultimate goal. Nowadays if you show a monochrome of talent, one of these companies is going to scoop you up fast to screw over the other company. The great thing right now with first NJPW, and now AEW is that top indie stars have an advantage in the negotiation room when it comes to money, and name rights. At least I’ve noticed that with Samoa Joe, and AJ. Problem with joining the WWE is the roster is so stacked at this point, that you aren’t guaranteed a push, and you might either be jobbed out, or won’t be on TV much. So you might effect your stock if you were planning on making more on your next contract with them. AEW might be a better choice, unless WWE comes up with a better counter offer that you can’t pass up to lure you away. Wrestlers have more power now than 5 years ago, but it’s a far cry from the golden period.
  11. What if it was a revival that fused back Fraiser, and Cheers? You can call it “Cheers, Fraiser!”.
  12. Sucks... He had a very weird back half of his career, with him always looking to get back under the mask. Going so far as to use the name Silver Kain to get around lucha commission rules. But he was always a solid worker, I would say even the best non-Rey Mysterio luchador. Always giving his all in the ring unlike his more famous brother.
  13. Just watched the video. I hope it’s not a heart attack. Edit: Just read Rippa’s post. Fuck what a tragic death if that’s the case.
  14. Some truth to that. But you’re telling me they wouldn’t also hire the same guys that help maintain those memorials to also pick up the trash that’s been built up? I mean stuff like electricity, and gas seem to still be going. So everybody in waste management disappeared?
  15. AMW were always on the money. Even near the end of the Asylum days they were still producing quality tag feuds with a lame duck tag team like The Naturals. I’m going to put most of the success on James Storm due to his high tag team batting average throughout his TNA run.
  16. I love the blatant ignoring of the great Jimmy Valiant here for best squash matches.
  17. two-hour shows are the ideal wrestling show. But they’re really like 1 hour & 44 minutes. So 30 minutes should be devoted to competitive mid to upper mid-card matches. 20 minutes should be devoted to promo time, and angles. The rest enhancement matches for your top stars, and new acts you’re showcasing. If you got a small crew then an hour would be better. I mean a lot of those old JCP shows suffer a bit from having a small crew on a two-hour show. Where you have guys coming out to have multiple promo segments on one show, and jobbers being recycled under different cheap outfits.
  18. That actually sums up what a waste of fucking money Buffer was. There was never a point where he didn’t botch the ring announcements on Nitro.
  19. I wanna know what is up with that mash-up between Phenomenon, and Get Shorty in the background?
