Hows that working out for you now? Wacha Wacha Wacha Wacha. That being said can we just blow out one fucking game. This 13 inning crap, and going five with the Bums after being down 2-1 and scoring one run today. Seriously I like the nickname the Cardiac Cards but do we have to live up to that nick name EVERY fucking game. PS in Cardinals history Bob Gibson and Michael Wacha are now the only two pitchers in history to have back to back post season starts where they allowed one run or less and struck out 8 or more. Who knew Pujols leaving would be so great for us.

Supposedly they are going to do more with Beth's character this year from what I read. The show runner did talk about Tyreese's character from the comic book and how they didn't have time to explore the character last year but they intend to this year. The only worrisome thing is when talking about the success and the popularity of Darryl he kind of glossed over it and didn't gush and talk about how he's such a big part of the upcoming season or even hint at anything special for him. It could mean nothing though.

I thought it was USA with Psych they do like two shorter seasons in a year? I know ABC Family does that. The thing is though I'm not sure if its all filmed at once and just broken into two seasons or what. I think the other problem other than 22 episodes inevitably leaves us with episodes that nothing happens on it also allows bad writing to continue longer. Atleast if the season wraps there is the hope they will take in response from the audience and try to fix some of the issues.

Revolution is one in a long list of sci fi shows that are fantastic concepts and then horribly executed that coupled with the fact that these networks insist on giving some of these shows 22 episodes a season when its clear they only have enough content and story for half of that. Even Lost suffered from steaks of episodes where shit was pretty dull just because you could tell they were killing time. I really want to like Revolution but I couldn't make it through the first episode without just being bored. Its also interesting that these shows pop huge ratings out of the gate before slowly dying. I suspect SHIELD will do this as well once people realize "wait no super heros are in the show?".

Charlie's fantasy was awesome and last week's project bad ass episode was great as well.

So the Saints might as well have already clinched the NFC South every other team in their division has one or no wins. Damn.

Manning almost had me believing they would A. win a game and B. he was done throwing picks now with two minutes I would assume Forte will get a few garbage time runs I just need ten more yards or so to feel good about his performance.

Verlander is doing his best Wacha impersonation out there isn't he? I wonder if Michael called and gave him some tips before the game.

I'm glad my fantasy opponent has decided to bench Marshall this week. Now I need Forte to step his damn game up. Two picks for Eli, is his starting job safe this year no matter what?

So I'm late to the party but I just started watching Dexter season 7. I for the most part enjoyed season 6 with the Doomsday Killer even if it was hokey and on the nose at times and I figured out the old man was his "harry" in the first episode. It was acceptable if not in continuous decline. So this season they off Mike like REALLY fucking quick. They just brought the guy in what halfway through last season and already killed him? Also they did it in a random, anti climatic way as a way to push forward their monster of the week. On top of that Dexter used to wait until the legal system had a crack at these guys. I mean it seems like a pretty slam dunk case. He was able to break into his hotel and the killer had convientley left his laptop with all of his flight information up or maybe he hit the browser history which showed him exactly where the killer was going and where he was headed. The killer also left behind his murdered blood stained shirt in the hotel dirty laundry. On top of all that he goes to an airport where there are security cameras EVERYWHERE. And if Dexter found out where he was going is no one else going to figure it out? Will no one else indentify this man and figure out he was at the airport. Then when there is no record of him getting on his flight won't SOMEONE look at footage and see Dexter doing this? On top of this the bathroom just happened to have a cleaning cart right there and a wheel chair right next to the bathroom and the cleaning cart AND he somehow got into the lost or forgotten luggage area and stayed there until this guy woke up with no sense of urgency before killing him and somehow leaving the scene. The monster of the week and Dexter's process and strict rules and how he went about insuring everything was done by the "code" was one of the most entertaining parts of this show. Now its just "he killed somebody, Dexter finds him and kills him in some convenient, contrived way". I won't even get into how they went from Deb not having a clue in the world to Deb knowing EVERYTHING in one episode. We have been building to this moment for seven years and then in one episode we went from 0-100 I think thats shitty, thats lazy, and presents all sorts of complications story wise. For all my bitching I've seen the show this far I'll see it to its rumored horrible finale twenty something episodes from now. In other news my wife suggested from the radio and friends we watch Orange is the New Black. I had zero interest in it and even starting out I wasn't that interested then in the last half of the first episode I somehow got hooked.

This game is fucking killing me we can't even get a decent lead against Jacksonville, motherfucker.

Fuck yes my depressed state is on pause as we tie it up. Our offense can't do shit so its up to our d to score points which could end this game in an embarrassing tie

Do I start DeShean Jackson (who I picked up after his first two monster weeks and he's done fuck all) or do I start Torrey Smith. Smith has Miami who has done well against WR's and Jackson has the Giants who have played like shit but they won't stay that way and they are a capable football team.

So I'm about four episodes into Hemlock Grove and I honestly have no idea why it was shit on so badly. I'm four or five episodes in and I'm really digging it. I'm not saying its perfect and there are some cringe moments (the mothers horrible british accent) but I enjoy the methodical pace and the mysteries. Its a lot better than a lot of other sci fi shows like Revolution.

So I acquired all ten seasons of Smallville almost a year ago and sparingly watched an episode here and there. The first few episodes I very much got a Buffy with looser story telling vibe. In the fact that it was just monster of the week type stuff. Buffy had the master arc stuff and I guess Clark has the Lex story arc. It bothers me that EVERY villian in Smallville throughout the first season is connected to the meteors. Its a gimmick that wears very thin over 20 episodes. Overall the first season should have been half as long as it was with a lot of the monster of the weeks cut out. The end of the season starts to get pretty good and I'll give it another season to get some semblance of a story or goals or something more than random people turn evil when the meteors give them super powers. They seem to be onto something with Lex maybe knowing there is at the very least something special about Clark. I just don't want to watch five monster of the week episodes to get one story heavy episode. The show was on the air for ten years and I know its the CW but I would think that business would have to pick up a lot in order for even the CW to justify a decade on the air. In other news I'm excited about the third season of Franklin and Bash its a fun show that from what I understand has nearly gotten cancelled due to low ratings for two years in a row now.

One of the better online communities around I'm glad to see it back. Also glad to hear that the server won't be down nearly every day.
