There's been a massive RP glitch for a few months now, which is unpatchable, unless they remove the mission. It's one of Franklin's free roam payphone hits, "The Popstar". You can rank up by the hundreds in the time frame. It's likely a majority of people did that, as I've encountered some ridiculous ranks and they're complete shit at the game. I'm surprised some of those folks made it through, as R* was seemingly vigilant in verifying legit accounts during the transfer process. Or so they said.
