  1. Scoopers are saying Skyler Gisondo is Jimmy Olsen
  2. This feels like something that was supposed to happen under the old regime otherwise why have his last appearance be him dying and replaced by Clooney? Plus, there’s already Brave and the Bold and The Batman Part II.
  3. I liked it quite a bit. I thought Ezra Miller did a good job playing both characters, Supergirl was cool for the time she was around, and if Keaton didn't take his cowl off you wouldn't know how old he was. I liked the story, some of the comedy was a bit weird. Didn't find the cameos offensive because they were basically like cartoon characters. Not quite as gross as Peter Cushing in Rogue One. A stylistic choice as apparently Nicholas Cage actually filmed his scene. Didn't care for Keaton being the old crazy guy with long hair, a beard and flip flops as it feels like we've seen that a bunch. But I liked all the action with him as Batman. Apparently they filmed three endings. One with Supergirl and Keaton Batman at the courthouse which leaked in set pictures. Another ending with Keaton's Batman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman and Henry Cavill as Superman. That makes sense as there was a behind the scenes picture of Gadot and Calle together. Then the ending we got with George Clooney. Wild.
  4. I guess one that's trying to protect it from a falling building and takes it out of the microwave and lays it down on a stretcher. It's weird that is an idea that was written but no, Ezra Miller did not microwave a baby.
  5. Y’all, Henry Cavill hasn’t done enough for you to be fanboying over him like this. I know he builds computers and plays Warhammer but cmon. He’s in. He’s out. He’s in. He’s out. We’ve been going through this for years. Enough. They aren’t going to fire Ezra Miller before The Flash comes out. They also didn’t really fire Henry Cavill as he was no longer under contract. Im totally fine with them picking and choosing. We just had a full season of Peacemaker. I don’t want them to reset that. Superman? Sure, go ahead.
  6. Viola Davis works for a lot of people, Cavill's Superman doesn't. James Gunn has worked with Viola Davis. Peacemaker kicked ass and it would be a shame to not see that cast return. There's been a lot of rumors about Cavill over the years. Whether it be asking for more money, wanting more control over Superman or being problematic on the Witcher set. If money is an issue, I can't see him doing movies, television, animation and games without breaking the bank.
  7. Gunn said they want to work with him in the future in some capacity, maybe Crisis still. Or maybe they were just being nice. Said they want Affleck to direct a movie too. We'll never find out what Superman wanted to talk to Black Adam about. Dani Garcia, maybe.
  8. Scoopers have been talking about it for ages.
  9. There's a whole bunch of stuff coming out and who even knows what's true and what's bullshit. Apparently, WB execs didn't like the story for WW3 and Patti Jenkins just walked. Christina Hodson who wrote Bumblebee, Birds of Prey, the cancelled Batgirl and The Flash was apparently working on a Michael Keaton Batman Beyond. It could have seen Michelle Pfieiffer return as Catwoman. They aren't moving forward. Despite The Rock saying WB had no plans for Henry Cavill, Walter Hamada was building up to him returning in a Crisis movie. It's been known for a while that's what everything was leading to. Jim Lee had Crisis artwork that had actors from the CW, DCEU and Robert Pattinson's Batman. The Rock instead brought Cavill back for Black Adam. Steven Knight of Peaky Blinders wrote a treatment for Man of Steel 2 that WB didn't like. Andy Muschiettii (The Flash) was interesting in making a Donner esque Superman film. James Mangold is apparently interested in working with the new regime. Twitter Bros are hashtagging #FireJamesGunn because of course.
  10. Wiping the slate clean and having Momoa play a character he loves sounds good to me.
  11. James Gunn joined Mastadon and posted a pic of Lobo. Around the same time, Jason Momoa was saying it was the happiest day of his life and a dream had come true. He collects Lobo comics and thought that was the role he was being called for when he got Aquaman. Edit: Whatever Momoa's super happy about, he's confirmed it's not DC related.
  12. Black Adam was a 5.5 out of 10 for me. I just wanted cool fights and characters. The JSA is cool but the fights don’t really stop for the whole damn movie. And they want you to know that what you’re seeing is supposed to be EPIC. The music is loud and dramatic. You sort of become numb to everything. A big CG character shows up and it’s bad and then a whole army of CG shows up and they are lame as fuck. There’s some cringy music cues from famous songs. One they probably wish they could remove now. I would watch a Hawkman, Dr. Fate or JSA movie. Hopefully not with the director of Jungle Cruise and the writers of Rampage. Nice use of the Diamond Cutter symbol though.
  13. So, have they ignored Black Adam releasing the Seven Deadly Sins from Shazam?
  14. “I shouldn’t have said that was my last match.”
  15. There’s a TV spot for Black Adam where they talk about heroes and villains and show the Batarang from BvS, Superman symbol, Harley Quinn. There was also a split second shot of Steppenwolf from Whedon’s JL (couldn’t even make him out) and Snyder fans were so mad, they complained to The Rock and it was reuploaded without the shot. Now they are somewhat upset it was not replaced with a Snyder shot.
  16. Lol, so Reeves Constantine and TV Constantine. May as well just bring Matt Ryan back. They were pushing a more cohesive DC universe a few months ago.
  17. So who buys WB next? Does Embracer Group like Batman. I'm tired. I'm so tired.
  18. I don’t think they can claim The Flash as a tax write off. I believe with Batgirl it was a very specific scenario. I’m not sure. And from all accounts, Flash is testing really well. Cancelling it would be super shitty for Andy Muschietti, Sasha Calle, Michael Keaton has already been cancelled twice. What’s cancelling it really going to do at this point when Ezra Miller has already gotten paid? I wouldn’t be surprised if due to some contract fuckery, they’d get paid more for cancelation. Just recast The Flash. Either at the end of the movie or going forward. In other news, there was apparently a gang shootout during the filming of Blue Beetle in Puerto Rico. Cast and crew were okay but one scooper (KC Walsh) said crew members quit and they had to move the production out of Puerto Rico. Apparently a lot of mismanagement by the director and the budget is going up.
  19. Aquaman is coming out before The Flash now. When Flash was coming out first, it made sense for Keaton to be in those scenes but not anymore. Test audiences were confused why Keaton was in it to begin with. Maybe they are scrapping Keaton completely after Flash, who knows? Flash has been getting good responses from test screening with Keaton, Miller and Calle all supposed to be pretty good in their roles.
  20. It may be saved because they want everything to be theatrical and they moved it from HBO Max to theatres. it’s insane to think that a film with Keaton as Batman isn’t going to see the light of day.
  21. They just completely scrapped Batgirl. It was already filmed.
  22. I really disliked this movie outside of Christian Bale. The only time it felt like the movie wasn't holding up a giant LAUGH sign was the ending. It felt like watching a bad parody movie or an overly long SNL skit. Thor just annoyed the hell out of me most of the time. I liked Ragnarok.
  23. Showrunner tried to play it off as S&L not being in the Arrowverse from the beginning. Ain't no way, man. I think they just saw the Arrowverse dying, considered that they're dealing with world ending events with no other heroes showing up and just said fuck it.
  24. A lot have been hilariously referring to this movie as The Flush before anything went down.
