  1. Colts back in it with a 73 yard play action TD pass, Luck to TY Hilton.
  2. There are Oilers fans bitching we should have Thomas instead of Dubnyk and I don't even know how to respond to that. The glee some of them have throwing Dubnyk under the bus all of 2 games into a year is just astonishing. "Sometimes I hate the fans of teams I love." - Phil Rippa
  3. 12-0. Maybe 16-0. Watching the replay now. We have to complete the process of the recovery now? This fucking league. Yeesh. A good three quarters of the most laughable rules in north American pro sports are cornered by the NFL at this point. #1! #1! #1!
  4. Reggie Wayne can't make a catch. Seahawks block the ensuing punt for a safety. Scary good start for them.
  5. Everyone knows that if a kicker misses anything less than 65 yards he should probably be torn limb from limb. At least if you believe what the NFL teaches people.
  6. Seattle's running game is pretty good. You probably haven't heard.
  7. New Oilers: amazingly like the old Oilers.
  8. The microcosm of Devan Dubnyk: - Lets in goal right off the bat - Holds team in the game while they get outshot 22-6 in one period - Lets in shitty goal from the blue line "because it was tipped" and he only had like half the day to react
  9. Smallest regular season crowd I have ever seen at Commonwealth Stadium in my life. Also, must be said, wasn't hard to see why.
  10. Star vehicle comedies have the wackiest budget numbers. Like Kindergarten Cop had an official budget of $15 million, $12 million of which was Arnie's salary. I guess that's pretty common with that kind of film but it is still pretty funny math.
  11. People need to remember that there was a fuckton of money in Japanese wrestling once upon a time. Unless WCW/WWF was going to make Hansen (or whoever) a main guy there was literally zero motivation to come back over here.
  12. Yeah, edited to reflect. It was pretty bizarre for a couple minutes there.
  13. Well... how about that. Haha. Social media.
  14. Putting a red ring around things that are friendly seems kind of against the basic unspoken code of video game design (blue = good red = bad, amirite) so I can get why that would throw people off at first.
  15. Gravity looks really good. So does Bad Grandpa for slightly different reasons.
  16. I'd say surely Toronto don't have 5 comebacks in a row in them, but this is Hamilton led by Henry Burris we're talking about, so honestly it seems more likely here than a couple other times.
  17. I realize it was a previous month's theme but this pretty much looks like every parent's worst nightmare for their daughter.
  18. So it finally dawned on me all these years later that I have access to the internet and I should just look up what that weird shit was on K-Jah back in the Grand Theft Auto III days. Album title was better than I could have ever hoped: Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires This is one strange ass record. But it rules.
  19. Roseanne, prior to the lottery nonsense, might be the most realistic sitcom ever. There was little of the screwball nonsense you see in other sitcoms or super-contrived situations. The characters weren't the typical "bumbling dad" stereotypes. The characters went through real issues, they were handled in a realistic way, and the people involved weren't perfect. And it was RIOTOUSLY funny for several years. Great show. I still can't believe I hated it when it first aired. http://youtu.be/o_HfjqdmMS0
  20. RNH returns very early in the year. Says his shoulder feels better than it has in his whole NHL career, and he's apparently shooting much harder. Please let this end well.
  21. Honestly I would never go near that thing. I have nothing against BP in general as an affordable family restaurant but screw that thing.
  22. Pepsi Throwback is so much better than actual Pepsi it's astonishing they are the same product.
  23. Not kicking the ball right at Travis Benjamin should probably be a thing going forward.
  24. I am playing two fantasy leagues this year, both giant ones, a 16 and a 20 team league. I took Tomas Hertl in the second last round of both those drafts since no one knows who he is and I'm already thinking that was probably a steal. I can see why the Sharks training camp chatter about him was so positive.
  25. No I just hate him when he does awful movies like Dances With Wolves instead of actual good movies like Bull Durham and 3000 Miles to Graceland.
