  1. My team: 115.52 points My opponent's team: 115.13 points Also, now that Carr's out for awhile, who should I nab off waivers to replace him? Deshaun Watson, Jared Goff, or Trevor Siemian?
  2. My current QB is Derek Carr, but I'm sorely tempted to start Big Ben instead. On top of me having LeVeon Bell, my opponent has Antonio Brown. My thinking is that Ben would at least somewhat mitigate whatever points my opponent gets from Brown. ffs, somebody talk me out of this. Or, y'know...if it's actually a good idea...don't.
  3. My WRs are : Michael Thomas, Michael Crabtree, Dez Bryant, Stefon Diggs My RBs are: LeVeon Bell, Joe Mixon, Javorius Allen, Chris Thompson I need 3 WRs, 2 RBs, and 1 Flex spot. I'm currently leaning towards Thomas/Diggs/Dez at WR, Bell/Mixon at RB, and either Crabtree or Thompson at Flex, but I'd like to hear you guys' thoughts. Thanks
  4. Yeah, 320 is totally within the realm of possibility... *checks to see who the Red Sox are playing* Looks like Blue Jays and Astros...Yeah, definitely 320-ish.
  5. It looks like he's going to meet the threshold for a rookie (130 ABs), and honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if he won NL ROY over Bellinger, based on just how historic what he's doing is. Yes, it's still a small sample size in the bigger scheme of things, but...geez.
  6. Mark Ingram (vs. NE) or Terrence West (vs. CLE) ?
  7. Plus, you have to remember, Cross still owes the Iconic Duo for putting her through a table during the Fatal Four Way at Takeover: San Antonio, so it made perfect sense to me.
  8. Dez Bryant (@ DEN) or Jamison Crowder (@ LAR)? I'm leaning towards Crowder because of the matchup, but it's hard to sit someone of Bryant's caliber, even in a bad matchup, so I think I need some guidance here. Thanks!
  9. Okay, so start/sit time. Here are the decisions that are vexing me this week: QB: Big Ben (@ CLE) or Derek Carr (@ TEN) RB: Mark Ingram (@ MIN) or Joe Mixon (vs. BAL) Flex Spot: Stefon Diggs (vs. NO), Jamison Crowder (vs. PHI), or the odd man out from my RB decision DEF: Pittsburgh (@ CLE) or Houston (vs. JAX) Thanks, in advance, for your help!
  10. Completely forgot about my draft on Friday night, but still wound up with a decent team: QB: Ben Roethlisberger, Derek Carr WR: Michael Thomas, Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree, Stefon Diggs, Jamison Crowder RB: LeVeon Bell, Joe Mixon,. Mark Ingram, Doug Martin (Actually grabbed him after the draft and stashed him)) TE: Rob Gronkowski, Hunter Henry K: Matt Bryant DEF: Pittsburgh, Houston
  11. Apropos of nothing, I just realized the joke of the Authors of Pain's names: Akam and Razar, or rather, Occam's Razor. How did I not see that right away?
  12. Great spot, but she totally stole that from Samoa Joe
  13. A theory I've heard was that the plan was to do a super-stiff worked shoot, similar to Akira Hokuto vs. Shinobu Kandori in 1993, and it just wound up getting super out of hand for whatever reason. Maybe because they didn't like each other? Whatever the reason, it would explain Wada's nonchalance about what was going on, as well as Act's insisting on continuing, despite clearly being too fucked up to do so. Kyoko Kimura also clearly got hot at Yoshiko after the match for going too far, and you could see as Act was being tended to outside the ring, she had this kind of "What just happened?" expression. I find Yoshiko's role in the whole deal distasteful, but a) I never was a huge fan of hers to begin with, and b) Act was probably my favorite wrestler from STARDOM, so I know those two factors color my opinion of it. That said, I have no problem with either the frame of mind that says "I will never watch anything she does" nor the one that says "It's time to move on from it." I find both points of view equally valid. I suppose it's all a matter of perspective. Just my .02
  14. Nixon Newell is pretty good. I've seen a couple of her matches in WCPW, and I quite enjoyed them, particularly the Last Woman Standing match with Bea Priestly.
  15. My ballot would probably be: Tim Raines Edgar Martinez Jeff Bagwell Manny Ramirez Barry Bonds Roger Clemens Ivan Rodriguez Trevor Hoffman Curt Schilling
  16. I managed to pick up AP this past week. Do I dare start him over Jordan Howard today? Also, with Cam's shoulder issues, might it be a better call to start Tyrod Taylor instead, considering the Bills are up against the Browns? Thanks
  17. I don't know about Bayley and Nese, but they're pushing Alicia and Cedric as a couple. They talked about it before, during, and after Cedric's match on 205 with Noam Dar last week.
  18. I can't possibly start Donte Moncrief with Luck out this week, can I?
  19. I figured it'd be posted already, but since it hasn't been, here are the Gold Glove winners: American League C: Salvador Perez, Royals1B: Mitch Moreland, Rangers 2B: Ian Kinsler, Tigers3B: Adrian Beltre, RangersSS: Francisco Lindor, Indians LF: Brett Gardner, YankeesCF: Kevin Kiermaier, RaysRF: Mookie Betts, Red SoxP: Dallas Keuchel, Astros National League C: Buster Posey, Giants1B: Anthony Rizzo, Cubs 2B: Joe Panik, Giants 3B: Nolan Arenado, RockiesSS: Brandon Crawford, GiantsLF: Starling Marte, PiratesCF: Ender Inciarte, Braves RF: Jason Heyward, Cubs P: Zack Greinke, D-backs I was kinda surprised to learn that this was Posey's first Gold Glove.
  20. Okay, I need 3 RBs out of the following: Matt Forte (vs. LA) Devonta Freeman (@ PHI) Devontae Booker (@NO) Jordan Howard (@ TB) It's a ppr league, by the way. I currently have Forte/Freeman/Booker in my lineup, but I'm tempted to swap Freeman for Howard. Thanks!
  21. In my mind, The Revival saw this as a no-win situation. If they lose, they've lost to a team they've been ducking, thus strengthening their case for another rematch. If they win, they're staring down the Authors of Pain, who are monsters. They used Dawson's injury as an out. I think TM61 is going to go to the finals. I can totally see Sanity getting DQ'ed to establish them as unhinged and dangerous. So, then you have TM61 vs. DIY, which should both be a good match and provide a good story for either team winning. Or you get TM61 vs. Authors of Pain which would be a classic David vs. Goliath type match, with a story of either TM61 fighting and clawing their way to earning a top spot in the tag division or Authors of Pain continuing their path of destruction. Of all the things to complain about with NXT right now, the Dusty Rhodes Memorial isn't really one of them as far as I can see.
  22. Travis Kelce (vs. NO) or Hunter Henry (@ ATL) at TE? Mike Wallace (@ NYJ) or Alshon Jeffery (@ GB) at WR? Thanks
