  1. I'm pretty surprised that a) somebody else voted for The Indian Runner, and I was not the high vote on The Indian Runner. Excellent, understated movie that really grew on me.
  2. I guess you never saw the Rude vs. Steamboat Iron Man in WCW then. Yeah I've watched Rude/Steamboat so many times I've lost count. Easily the best. But I assume he meant to imply best *60 Minute* Iron Man match.
  3. I did a full 100 because it's fucking awesome and there were tons of great movies from the 90s.
  4. No winner shall be declared until the mention of Grace Zabriskie. Also Nancy Parsons. And jeez people Karen Black JUST passed away. I also love whenever Mary Kay Place turns up. She's like Dianne Wiest without Oscars.
  5. When I think "character actress" I don't think of somebody like Frances McDormand. She's just an actress. If McDormand is a character actress then so is Kate Winslett. I mean, McDormand has been nominated for 4 Oscars and often gets top billing. When I think character actress, I think of somebody like O-Lan Jones, who's probably popped up in more movies or TV shows playing a waitress than Dean Norris has playing a cop. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0428952/
  6. Everybody needs to go out of their way to watch A Face in the Crowd. It's probably right at the top of my ballot so far and features one of the greatest film characters of all time, Andy Griffith's "Lonesome Rhodes". Griffith is a completely sinister charming monster and the movie is really dark, especially considering the time it was released. I have no clue where they discovered Griffith at this point as I don't think he had acted much if at all in TV/film, but I can't picture anybody doing a better job.
  7. I have Comcast so didn't get Fuel, but at some point I noticed that Fox Deportes was airing those cards the next day. They've also now started showing old UFC cards, all dubbed over in Spanish. They showed UFC 22 last weekend and supposedly 23 soon. Also supposedly showing UFC 1 which I'm shocked Dana would want to air.
  8. Yeah Tigg was bad in that scene. He sounded like a guy realizing mid-race that the horse he bet the house on was not going to place.
  9. I will have a 100 in some time tomorrow (maybe late)
  10. Good last minute under the radar ones are Nobody's Fool, One False Move, The Spanish Prisoner, Another Day in Paradise or Felicia's Journey
  11. I also liked Escape From L.A. a lot more than I remembered. The plastic surgery stuff in New Beverly Hills is hilarious and horrifying. And I know someone else here has Freeway prominently ranked on their 100.
  12. I assumed it would be Gregg Henry because that guy is always the bad guy
  13. I would highly recommend people check out Nobody's Fool and Trees Lounge. I know Trees Lounge is on Netflix Instant. Also Maniac Cop 2 is one of the best action movies in a decade filled with good action movies.
  14. I thought we always went by imdb, and it has Audition as 1999.
  15. I don't go out of my way to purposely watch dogshit, but I liked The Rock a lot and was excited for Armageddon because of that. I was even more excited when it had guys like Keith David, Steve Buscemi, Billy Bob Thornton, etc. But then holy shit it was 2.5 hours of constant bullshit with almost nothing watchable.
  16. Friday the 13th 3-D is by far my favorite of the series. As far as the worst movie I've ever seen? If Davey Richards was a movie instead of the shittiest wrestler I've ever seen, then he would be Armageddon. Fuuuuuck Armageddon.
  17. Is there any way you could re-post the results of the original 90s poll? I had been using it to go through and watch movies I hadn't seen yet and I know there's probably some higher ranked ones that I haven't watched yet. Shoot, even PM me the list if you feel calling attention to the old list may spoil the new list too much.
  18. I'm gonna wait as long as possible so I can keep watching more movies I've never seen. And I still won't get to watch all the ones on my "need to see" list.
  19. Also I found a box of unmarked VHS tapes in my closet and I want to watch all of them and post about my findings. Over/under on how many of the tapes are "Best of Blitzkrieg" or "Best of Tajiri/Super Crazy in ECW" = 3
  20. I agree with IpponDropkick, Shawn Michael is the fucking kewlest
  21. Now all you motherfuckers can watch Trees Lounge and Nobody's Fool. And Maniac Cop 2.
