  1. Half a page and no pictures. Disappointing mates. RVD is ok though. He's gearing up for the season and going to watch Then he was like
  2. Seriously. You can get creative commons for credit. 100 bucks for licences. Hell the Hardy Boyz music is in porn.
  3. Guess my statement bout Dixie being too nice to play with the sharks wasn't accurate. She fucked Corgan so bad it's funny.
  4. My thought was why is this guy (who I've never heard of) here if a guy like Hero, who is known to be good, gets cut.
  5. So did the guy who screwed up the move have a history of this? I only ask because they let Hero go and I swear multiple people have talked about how great in the ring he is to work with. Tim and Eric....yeah one of the most unwatchable things to ever be put on television. I'm still lost on who that show is supposed to be for because I'm in the prime demo and I've tried to give it a go a few times over the years but it was always so bad in a "change the channel" kind of way. It's like three hours of terrible Raw comedy packed into 30 mintues only you aren't sure they were even trying to be funny.
  6. In light of WWEs history, why anyone chooses to side with them more than Paige....someone explain it to me. I'm not saying Paige isn't lying to some degree, but WWE has mastered the art of corporate spin, coverups, and using lawsuits to fuck people over.
  7. Do the Hardy's have a graveyard at the compound? Raven could just be out there chillin, or maybe helping Senor Benjamin out.
  8. The idea of Dave Meltzer having to watch Tiger Mask W in a serious manner as part of his job amuses me. (Ugh video pulled) If only Rock N Wrestling had been this bad ass.
  9. Not 100% sure but I've gone uncredited working on multiple shows.
  10. Vince probably pays better. At least during the Spike run, I would be shocked if Spike let them use non-union production.
  11. Oh please. The ultimately negative impact of Hogan did way more damage than the midgets jumping ship. The coffin was already shut by then, they were just nails helping keep it closed. Christ Hogan running rampant has been responsible for what, 3 promotions, folding.
  12. I don't think they can do that on production. Because its going on tv, I suspect union is involved.
  13. Because it means she lied to them to their faces. Wasn't it Gail Kim's billionaire husband just so she could get that worthless HOF verbal blowjob she was desperately seeking?
  14. Do you not understand the economics of why this is, from a business perspective, is a terribly bad idea? I don't think Sting's neck agrees.
  15. I guess that means we pray for some sort of lawsuit then right? I'm sure Hogan's got a beef about something.
  16. So will we ever get hard numbers about TNAs finances? I really want to laugh at how much they spent vs what WWE pays for it all.
  17. How much drugs have you done in your life? The WWE erased, ran over, and shit on everything Goldberg did. They turned a megastar into just another guy. I'm not a Goldberg fan, but whatever magic he had died completely thanks to the WWE. That bit with the wig....ugh.
  18. I like this idea a bajillion times more than real MMA fighter and 100% certified bad ass vs old, wannabe tough guy, still acting like age isn't a factor. Plus your idea is new and gimmick guys tend to do better at gimmick matches so it would be a fun 10-15 minutes where they can pull out all sorts of fun wackiness.
  19. Are you confusing media saturation with cultural revelency? I don't know anymore. Yes there is more content, but isn't business down for all of them or most of them? The internet latches on to things. Deletion was perfect for it, but it's the internet bubble. My mom knows John Cena is a wrestler, she has no idea about Deletion. Half of my coworkers probably know what it is and our job is internet based. Wrestling was and will always be good tv, but competition has gotten insanely more difficult. MMA is real and wrestling now had an inescapable stink of fake all over it. Hell look at Brock. The WWE values him more than nearly everyone. They booked "humor" and booked themselves into a cultural punchline. You can't ride a wave forever and given all the WCW type crap I see the WWF doing, I can't help but feeling a crash is happening sooner than later and they're at the top riding and guiding it. I suspect the WWE can survive when they fall, but good luck to everyone else....actually that could be what starts a new boom.
  20. Clearly ever other thing on the telly and the internets is competition or else they wouldn't be setting new record lows. I think it's fair to point towards WWE's flagship show's ratings being far below it's dead competition, combined with it's decline since then, and say hey, maybe something isn't working here. I think we've reached the tipping point of wrestling entering into another ice age possibly. Bryan and Dave hammer on about Raw's viewers being over 40....well that's not exactly the demos that define cool, and as I've been stating few awhile now, wrestling is cold culturally and it only seems to be getting more so. Yes there is a fan base and it's passionate, but it seems to be about 1.5-3 million people total. Will they really be able to keep WWE afloat? WWE has many revenues streams, but like all businesses, it's their flagship that's supposed to lead. If Coke or BMW or whoever, see their flagship product starting to wane, you best believe they'd try and do something about it. WWE has gone on to attempt more revenue streams, rehash old ideas, and spent millions in hopes of creating the next Austin. They seem unwilling to do much to tweak RAW beyond sticking in new characters and having meaningless drivel to occupy three hours of time. It's funny how they used to be so good with timing and pacing, and making things matter.
  21. Look I get all of that and even how the internet has changed the way people watch content, but with their flagship looking worse than their dead competition, someone had better see the need to do something because this looks really ugly. Christ didn't that comic writer get fired when they dipped below 3.0?
  22. Listening to the Death of WCW...how are Vince and co not freaking out majorly over raw given their current rating trends are worse than WCW while it was declining.
  23. Nah man, I don't wish her death or anything that bad, but she is clearly terrible at pro wrestling. I mean at an unprecedented level. She's lost millions of dollars when most promotions blow through a few grand and then it's over for them. And she got taken advantage of, in a really bad way, by multiple sharks looking to take as many bites as they could from the money mark. Don't get me wrong, she has her faults and she's done a lot of boneheaded things, but between Bischoff, Hogan, Russo, Jarrett, that WWE production guy, etc, a bunch of people used and abused her for all that they could. I fully suspect that reports about her being a nice person are true, and that's exactly what those leeches saw and grabbed on to. I hope if they go under Dixie buries a few people on the way out because of how bad they all clearly fucked her over. But she's too nice. If she had been a ruthless shark, things would have been so much better. She should have had 100% control over everything because she literally held all the power and was the one putting out the paychecks. The WWE castoffs had nowhere else to really go for the most part - Hogan ain't working japan brother, and she should have ruled them with an iron fist. Kurt Angle should have been entrant one into the Wash Dixie's Feet Club because his options were darn close to zero. All the indy guys - she should have used her TV time to make stars. They'd work for cheap and between all the guys who went on to be stars for WWE, they clearly had the possibilities to do that, but nope. Thanks Hulkster, Russo, Jarrett, and the ilk. The moment those guys got out of line on anything Dixie wanted, she should have pointed to the door and told them to get the fuck out. They offered so little value that if it weren't for TNA, well I have no idea what guys like them would be doing, but it probably wouldn't be for anywhere near as much money that they clearly didn't deserve. Last I knew Jarrett was hawking gold bars. He should have been doing that in 2000 because no one but Memphis wants to pay to see him wrestle. He's a solid hand I'll give him that, but he's never been a main event player and he wasn't going to become one because he owned another wrestling promotion. He also hasn't proven himself to be much of a draw. Punk just drew between 425k and 475k viewers to PPV. TNA's best PPV drew like what, 60k. These people all suck at wrestling and it's in their best interest and the public's, that they do something else with their lives. Dixie is just not cut out to be in the business. Ruthlessness is king. Vince has it, Steph learned it well from him, and HHH learned that game better than anyone else. Dixie is just not cut like that. Mark Cuban could have a shot.
  24. Ya know as I wAtch the Trump Empire implode I can't help but notice the parallels to the WWE and how they do an equal amount of shady shit that someone just needs to cover in-depth.
