  1. A few years ago MegaMan Legends was on sale on the PSN store so I got it, man were the controls tough, you had to use L2/R2 to strafe and it made the boss battles rough.
  2. I mean it's a resort area with all of it's trappings (tons of gift shops with either offensive or culturally insensitive things, random chain restaurants etc) but if you're into hiking and other outdoor activities or water parks it's fun with a group of people or a significant other. Plus Del Bar and Ishnala (speaking of culturally insensitive) are really good supper clubs.
  3. There's a Ponderosa that's a 2 hour drive from me that's open seasonally because it's in a resort area (Wisconsin Dells) and I tell myself I should just find a rental for a weekend and go there for old times sake and maybe get a day pass at a water park. The only thing I know about Bossier City is that they've hosted a leg of the Womens Volleyball Nations League (a yearly international volleyball competition with your standing helping your chances at Olympic qualification) for the last 2 or 3 years and every volleyball fan is confused because it's sparsely attended and the closest international airport is Dallas/Ft. Worth which is a good drive and it's apparently not a happening city and the only thinking is that there must be some big time grift and kickbacks going on.
  4. I didn't see anything on my socials but I'm not super deep since wrestling on social media can be really annoying. It's Joe's first defense, of course it's a lollipop. This is just more fun because it's a young guy and we'll get to see a little more out of Hook. Same with Jinder, I haven't seen anything negative out there, we know it's just a stop along the way to Rollins/Punk.
  5. Yeah, if you see her trending on Twitter/X, don't click it.
  6. Same, anytime I've seen a wrestler in the "wild" the most I've done is a head nod/wave (my favorite might be Silas Young at the gym since he was somehow as wide as he was tall), if I were with my niece/nephews and it was someone they were a fan of, I might try to approach them, but I'm not tracking them down! Skye's comment was kinda sad/funny considering that everytime she wrestles, she trends on Twitter and it's just zoomed in shots/gifs of her butt. I almost didn't recognize Madison Rayne in that clip too.
  7. "Heyman can spend a couple of weeks cutting promos against Aldi's," This is an amazing autocorrect. Now I want Heyman standing by the carts cutting a promo and someone interrupts him asking if they can have a quarter for the carts. As far as Rock/Roman, like others have said, Rock wasn't great 10+ years ago and time won't make it better. And him huffing and puffing after that spinebuster/people's elbow is not a good sign either. I don't even think he can go for a "throw bombs" match since his moveset isn't that compared to Goldberg. The rumors say that the Australian tourism board which paid for the show wanted Rock and WWE let them know it would cost extra so maybe they coughed up the cash. I don't think you can run Rock at Mania and not have it be a mess. Guess we'll see what happens. Having caught Raw this morning since I was busy last night, the show was good and hopefully Giovani is feeling better.
  8. Pre Sirius, it was pretty drab, similar to how a team announces the visiting team. It was a Bull's arena guy who started doing all the extra stuff and actually turning off the lights which was a big deal since the lighting at the old Chicago arena was I want to say halogen and it wasn't a guarantee they would turn back on right away so he really had to advocate for it.
  9. I mean the Native guy with the "Kill the Indian, Save the Man" chest tattoo might have some weird thoughts about his ethnicity how to display it.
  10. Forgot they were showing a full episode of NXT and not a yearly recap. I can't figure out why OTM matches are dead since their work is solid, I think they need something else to connect with the crowd. Maybe some more clubbering with Briggs and Jensen or Hank and Tank? Briggs/Dar was solid before the DQ but Meta Four is going to have nonsense with their matches. Not sure why Briggs/Jenson/Henley had to break up, but I guess they want to do some other stuff with their characters. Speaking of, so Fallon's folks own a bar and a ranch? That's some decent on paper wealth which doesn't explain why she had to fight Kianna to get her to back off from trying to buy the bar before. Hell why wouldn't Kianna try to buy the damn ranch with the way farmland is getting snapped up currently? I know, I know it's wrestling logic. Fraiser/Bron was fun. Underground match was solid too. I can't see any title changes next week, but I'm excited still.
  11. Wait, so it was get a pinfall, 30 second rest period and if your opponent didn't answer a 10 second count after that, you won? That's insane and I'd love to see that gimmick used again to see what kind of finish you'd use.
  12. For a one off match, probably one of the more experienced UK guys, for a few matches? Whoever is remaining from that original 2.0 class: Bron, Melo (is there strict weight class separation in AJPW?) Tony D, or either one of Briggs or Jensen.
  13. I guess I'll be the only person who like Nigel's dumb commentary. Those forced jokes really make it for me. He knows they're awful and gosh darn it, he's going to get them off.
  14. The NJPW QT of it is even better since they basically use the ol WWE "Future Endeavors" template: https://twitter.com/njpwglobal/status/1738733909394010375
  15. I'd love if the triple threat match for the Gold final was a triangle match like that Sting/Luger/Flair match from Starcade 95' just switch it up and make it so the third person would have to tag in. I know it was designed like that since Luger and Sting were working double duty, but let's just get weird!
  16. Dude! I had to replay this one a few times because it looked so nasty, I think Shotzi turned in time so the lid hit her shoulder/back, but it's just seems like a nasty spot.
  17. If you look on Liv's IG there's a reel of her and CJ Perry making brownies and they are both baked out of their mind. Also, weed is legal in Florida if you have a medical card, I can imagine a wrestler with their line of work can find a reason to get a card. This is probably a nothing burger.
  18. Yeah, Kelly is not great for AEW. I always thought he was fine for ROH and his NJPW work is ok with the whole crew. I like Nigel's work, wrestling needs more heel commentators that say stupid things.
  19. I think that initial NXT 2.0 men's class (Bron, Melo, Creeds, Von, Tony D, Briggs and Jenson, Waller) that are still in NXT are as far along as they're going to get and any improvements are going to come on the road with the main roster. They're as mechanically smooth as they're going to be in the ring and they can connect with the PC audience since it's a lot of the same folks so they're not going to learn any new tricks that way. Any improvements for the Creeds are going to come with working out the kinks in front of crowds that don't know that much about them like Waller has figured out.
  20. I think the best response I saw online for Flair's suits is that he looks like a fancy brunch menu.
  21. To add on to this, the CC will have great matches (I like all 3 tonight with Swerve/White being my favorite), but Ex harping during the night about "creating a modern triple crown" is just the most eye rolling shit ever IMO. Hell every title in the OG triple crown had at least 15 years of history behind it before the unification. This just comes off as they're trying to manufacture history and it comes off as noticeably fake which is bad for wrestling. The ROH title is doing some heavy lifting here. And the slight implication that NJPW doesn't have stories always seemed off to me, they have storylines and feuds that are just progressed via stable tag matches and the occasional backstage post match interview. If AEW wants to go more in that direction, it can work! The announcers might have to some more work to tie it together at times, but it can totally work. I am also the person that loves silly wrestling stuff so I'm not looking for "serious business" all the time. Give me something to lighten up the mood.
  22. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Julia's moonsault was really bad. And she positioned her really close to the turnbuckle which seemed odd to me, props to Emi for seeing it not working and trying to move into a better spot.
  23. Hey Dolfan, can you change the date to 12/9/23 in the title? I'd guess it'd be easier to get Chase U "cleared" and a tag title rematch than build up a challenger for Lyra in 2 weeks unless Xia come back?
  24. There isn't an official roster cut off date, but if you look at the original roster and who's on it, it's sometime in Q4 2021 with Punk and Bryan being in the game. Season 1 DLC looks like Q1 2022 since Danhausen debuted then. Since we don't have any updates about the S2 stuff who knows. More details would be great.
  25. Kind of the opposite TBH, they wanted to open up more seats so they went with the minimal set up of just one long set of screens at the floor level at one entry ramp. I mean in TV cannon, WWE wrestlers are adept with heavy machine operation and photo shop so why not?
