  1. I thought Austin was more critical than he's ever been of a WWE show on his review with Keller. Makes me think there's something to the rumor that he had a dust up with Vince, along with the "Jericho Podcast" now being on WWE Network. He clearly thinks Vince's reasoning for Cesaro not being a big star is bullshit.
  2. I watched that match and thought it was alright, but not a blow away affair. I saw a lot of people say ****+ stars, and that it was must see, but watching it I kept thinking it was okay but not hitting on all cylinders. Naito selling the neck/shoulder after the the piledriver type move off the reversal was great though. I'll give him credit there. He still looks like a goof though.
  3. Did anyone have that winner?!
  4. Well. 4/8 in my New Japan Cup picks. I can't imagine that anyone was 100% after that. Last time I base my picks off of Meltzer. Bastard.
  5. Reigns definitely brought it. Hats off to him. I bet Bryan opens the show to get his win back over Sheamus that everyone forgot about. Randy Orton sucks a fat chode. He's going to drag Rollins down quite a bit.
  6. Is there anywhere online to get the AXS broadcasts? I've got NJPW World, but the American commentary definitely adds something. Thank you.
  7. Bryan and Ziggler in a "Thank God We Don't Have To Think Of Anything For These Guys" match is one thing, and the company has proven they won't be passing their current station ever again, so that's fine. But what about Ambrose, who they actually like?
  8. The storm is probably a good thing. They'll spin doctor the shit out of this, have a scripted interview with Reigns, get the machine working around him. Vince probably pushed one of those buttons from Buffalo Wild Wings to give everyone a time out and get the hell out of the Northeast.
  9. I seem to remember that the backlash was in full effect by SummerSlam '05, and I remember a RAW where Cena and Jericho had a battle of the bands, and Cena's rap people were just blistered with boos. A lot of people thought, especially on this board, that Jericho was just too cool and over as a cocky heel for Cena, who stopped rapping about Michael Cole being gay, and that Angle, being the best heel on the planet, would get people back on Cena's side. And then uncoordinated, clumsy ass Cena was outwrestling the Olympic gold medalist and it just got worse.
  10. Not even looking at the Bryan stuff, I thought it was pretty boring. And the fans weren't pissing mad, like last year, they seemed totally disengaged with the whole thing. Probably a lot of people posting variations of "Fuck, I paid a lot of money for this" on twitter.
  11. Hey man, Test was over! Let's not drag Test's name in the mud here. He was pretty agile and didn't wear stylized Osh Kosh B'Gosh to the ring.
