  1. That IWRG ladder match, gotdayum was that hilarious, painful, and embarrassing. So much stuff goes wrong in one match but the ending might be the best part... or when Park starts slapping fools.
  2. Which looks pretty rad and is the first serious enticement to purchase the PS Camera, though I don't play with fantasy CAWs outside of Fire Pro.
  3. Or just use a badass uranage like the one Hase used to drop fools with. But, yeah, Western Lariat all day, every day.
  4. How are people easily getting 100 vanguard marks per week when it takes 30-40 minutes to do a strike which gives out a whopping 2-5 marks per go 'round? Is there something I'm missing here or are people just playing 24/7?
  5. With his wedding picture on the tron for his entrance.
  6. Steph writes promos herself, so I don't think it's going away any time soon.
  7. I enjoyed the FIFA 15 demo on PC and am very glad to see the current gen graphics make their way to my computer. I was most impressed with the presentation at Anfield, with all of the trademark songs being sung and some really neat highlight videos and replays. The emotions after a penalty is given is a cool touch too, with some players begrudgingly accepting and others getting angry. Next year they need to enable the Chelsea/Barcelona mode where the entire team swarms the referee during key decisions and if you input the Konami code during this sequence you unlock the following: The mods will make a good game great.
  8. Sigh, or because she's attractive? Keyboard playaz up in this mug!
  9. I tried doing the weekly hero tip by myself at around midnight and just got crushed. When I'm struggling with lvl 22 dregs, you know things are bad. I guess I need to grind away at level 20 stuff before tackling that and/or finding others that will help carry my ass to success.
  10. I'll be on PS4 later tonight. Sorry GLF for bailing at the tower, going out for dinner and have some bidness to take care of. Game is heck of addictive and way more fun than I thought it would be. It has some issues but it feels like the first big deal for the current consoles (even though everybody who hasn't shelled out $500 or whatever on new consoles can play it, hah).
  11. Yep, I ain't touching that shyit with a 20 foot pole. No editing player ratings means no $70 from my broke ass.
  12. Agreed. Also thought the plot was a bit too Mass Effect-y, but at least it's given me reason to bust out "dat ass effect makes my mass erect" one last time.
  13. Sullivan tried to talk Kanemura out of it but Kanemura pleaded with him and told him it would be an honour so Sullivan obliged. I've never seen it nor do I want to see it but that's from one of the many Sullivan shoots I've seen.
  14. I've been playing on PS4 a bit and will do so this evening and the weekend. I'm Robert T Pooner on PSN. I am incredibly shitty at crucible, by the way. I find I'm getting one shot'ed by guys that are level 15-20 way too much, whereas I have to pepper guys with my assault rifle to even take down their shields.
  15. I too have been watching all of the Nitros since they went on WWE Network. I started with World War 3 1995. Then watched all the shows in order, including Nitro, Clash of the Champions & the PPVs. I'm about to watch Superbrawl 1996. I'm not even up to Scott Hall showing up yet. I've seen Madusa throw away the WWF Woman's Title so far but it's mostly been a lot of Hogan, Savage, Flair, Sting & Luger. That being said, Bobby the Brain Heenan has been terrible. He worked when he was being funny in WWF & working with Gorilla. He was a great manager too. In WCW though, he's really bad. Like you said, he does things that take away from the match. He cussed on the air over Brian Pillman touching him, got up & started walking away & whatnot, which distracted from the match. He also does this super annoying thing where he just screams "OHH!" whenever someone does a big move...and once you notice it you hear it every time after that and it really grates on your nerves. Jesse Ventura was infinitely better as a color commentator. Did he not just have neck surgery for a broken neck going all the way back to 1983? I could understand why he'd be jumpy about protecting his neck with a guy like Pillman around.
  16. Other than a fairly weak plot? Not from what I've seen. I strongly disliked Halo games but have been having a blast with this so far. The graphics are also way better than I remember them being during the alpha - it's right up there with Metal Gear Solid as the best looking current gen title to date.
  17. NWA in '89 might be an idea too or is that too broad? I watched the Great American Bash with a friend unfamiliar with the period and he was blown away and I forgot how fast of a pace they worked. Slow start but then you get classic after classic after classic.
  18. Still works. Thanks for that.
  19. Oh man. Aussies had the lead for, I believe, the entire 2nd half and led by 2 points with seconds left on the clock. Preldžić (thanks google!) chucked up a three with five seconds left to put the Turks ahead and made the shot, Aussies flub their last second attempt and blow it. Tough to take for the Boomers but Turkey did enough to stay around and then pounced at the end. Didn't help the Aussies couldn't hit a free throw for their lives.
  20. Australia has a slight lead on Turkey nearing the end of the first half. Really nice ball movement from the Boomahz. However, there have been a bunch of delays with the game - the last one stemming from a faulty shot clock.
  21. Do you think he'd be cool with revealing that stuff to marks?
  22. It's not perfect but Wrestling Data has air dates of every episode with match listings and links to the cards the matches were originally from. Unfortunately, you have to wade through listings of all WWE TV to find them but that's what ctrl+f was made for, right? Anyway, here's a link to the listings with the first three episodes.
  23. Yeah, my friend and I had another go with it last night and it's still the prettiest version of rock 'em sock 'em robots. Fun but only for about 20 minutes and a completely ridiculous and arcadey form of fun when most people expect simulation stylings from sports games these days.
  24. Blackface and sexual exploitation are totally awesome, so sayeth the Monday Night War series.
